Many wonder how Azazel got to where she is now, seeing as she's centuries younger than most of the other leaders. Some say it's because she has unimaginable power, some say she's just a wonderful liar and great at manipulating others, and most think it's because She favors Azazel. All of these are true. Since she was a young Horn, she always showed great initiative. She rose through the ranks faster than any one else before, and yes, this was when she began developing her knack for lying and manipulation. Her abilities developed faster than most, she could possess almost the purest of souls, was stronger than Horns twice her age, and could teleport great distances. Even changing into a smoke-form came easier to her than it did for most others. Then she made the mistake of trying to possess Her, and Azazel became a Banished.
The Banished respected her from the beginning, and she soon defeated the leader of a group of half-wits and began training them. Now her group is as strong as any other, and any one of them will tell you that her age means nothing, because she's as powerful as any leader around. Perhaps that isn't true, but sometimes it isn't about power, it's about knowing who you have to control. Azazel is sneaky, she isn't an honest fighter, there isn't an honest aspect about her, she's much more likely to use her powers in a fight than attack head on. She's behind the scenes of everything, always watching, always waiting for the perfect moment to strike. She'll hang back and look for the chink in your armor before taking you down.
Besides her abilities as a Horn, Azazel has developed many other less-useful skills over her hundred-and-fifty-some years of being a Banished. She can speak a variety of other languages fluidly, such as Russian, Latin, Spanish, and her two guilty pleasure languages- Greek and Welsh. She's also become quite talented at all things technological. She can play the drums and sing a little bit, and is awesome at all things gaming. Though she hasn't been around as long as some of the others, she has quite a bit of collected knowledge herself.

Azazel is manipulative. She knows just how to wrap you around her little finger, and then how to exploit every weakness, every chink in your armor, and how to use them to her advantage. It's a great skill in every way possible, at least for someone living the type of life she is, but it doesn't allow her to get very close to people. Instead, all she knows how to do is use people. Rather than looking for the good or bad in people, she assesses them by the different ways she can use them, and writes them off or invites them in depending on varies levels of usefulness. This allows her to be a good leader though, making her much more able to get things done. She doesn't let her emotions effect the way she leads a group, instead focusing quite solely on how useful they really are. It makes her completely unbiased.
Aza is also quite the sociopath, charming and charismatic with no sense of respect for others feelings or rights. She lies, because she doesn't want anyone knowsing anything real about her, because lying is the easiest way to manipulate and get what she wants, because she likes it. Aza lies so well, and it's because she makes herself believe her own lies. She has a great memory, so remembering her lies is never difficult for her. Aza had a bit of an inferiority complex, which makes her act completely the opposite. She acts like a cocky, arrogant bitch, while on the inside, she doesn't believe that at all. Having people love her, it makes her feel good, but she never believes it. Lying to make people like her, that makes her feel better, but never will it get rid of her self-doubt and partial hatred of herself. She takes this anger out on others.
She is wary of other people, unable to handle her emotions fully so she normally just assumes everyone is out to get her. Incredibly intelligent, Azazel lacks any people skills and is incredibly awkward in a group. This awkwardness always leads her to act annoyed or angry at the people around her, which in turn makes people dislike her. It's a rather unhappy cycle that will likely never stop, and this causes her to like being alone, or one on one where it is easier for her to control her surroundings.
APPEARANCE
Most people identify her as the "small girl with dark hair". The description is actually fairly accurate. Aza stands at only five foot and weighs around a hundred and twenty pounds- but it varies depending on how much food they have in the house. Her hair color is a light black/dark brown, with a single strand of white. Even with such a small stature, she isn't easily seen as weak. At least once she opens her mouth, your opinion would probably change. She just doesn't look like one of the friendliest people ever, and she's one of those people that you stay away from.
