Brendea once had a queen that was a tyrant. She wanted everyone to be as happy-go-lucky as she was. Otherwise they suffered penalties. When they had enough, there was a rebellion led by her sister, Princess Agarethe. The former queen fell without a fight and was subsequently punished by her sister, having her arms and legs removed and exiled with her loyal servants. The new queen was by far an even worse tyrant with an iron fist. Now the people live in fear and poverty and enemies of the queen are executed in brutal ways. Duke Ravann, the former queens suitor, was held captive by Agarethe for the day he would marry her against his will. But he managed to escape. Now he and his friends are looking for help from afar to put an end to the tyranny, even if it means getting a lesser evil, the former queen Leala, who lives with her limbs mechanically restored in a cozy house in the mountains.

Queen Agarethe: She is a cruel ruler who broke the promises she made before the coup. She lets her enemies be executed in brutal way as a tactic to instill fear upon the population. Agarethe lives in excessive wealth while the people starve. Her royal guard makes sure that no one can even come near her.


Duke Ravann: He used to be engaged to the former queen but he turned on her as the people were unhappy. Agarethe wants to make him her husband against his will, even where he somehow still has feelings for the former queen Leala.

Queen Leala (played by Aniihya): Everything during her rule was supposed to be happy and carefree. Just the problem she made was that she forced people to act happy instead of truly making them happy. This brought her downfall and her punishment was to have her limbs amputated and be exiled to the farthest reaches of the nation. With the best medical technology, her limbs were mechanically restored. Now she lives in the mountains with her most loyal servants.
