Introduction
So how does is work?
Create your student character, interact with others. Take prompts from the narrator who will control minor characters such as teachers and truancy officers, as well as post homework and detention tasks.
Class(es/ing) shall commence on Wednesday, because that it is preferable to Monday. You must understand- well, you should understand- that I mean Wednesday day my time, not your time. I'm always having to wait for, or else catch up with, other people’s time so it shall be Wednesday my time this time. That’s GMT +8. You oughtn't to be in ownership of any time as it is; it’s quite difficult stuff to manage. I myself am quite terrible at it, but apparently being The Principal, the ‘GM’, the author, the almighty creator of an RPG, entitles one to certain responsibilities and privileges such as specific time ownership no matter how poorly qualified one may be for such a license. But I digress…
Wednesday is when it all begins, but of course just show up any time (even Tuesday); the truancy officers can be often be bribed with lunch money, donuts, goats, and trading card numbers 5, 37 and 42. Otherwise note with an excuse/explanation from a parent/guardian/legal owner is acceptable, or else your signed pact with the embodiment of evil for your particular faith/religion/cult/fandom. If none of these options is available to you, detention will be administered.
• Thursdays are my favourite so detentions shall be less frequently administered. Late homework should be submitted to the truancy officers.
• Fridays are the day on which homework task(s/ed) shall be announced.
• Saturdays and Sundays: truancy officers go home so school attendance is optional, posting is still a highly recommended past-time and may take place on or off campus.
• Mondays: detentions shall be announced.
• Tuesday is the day on which the school newsletter is printed. Please make sure to submit a small paragraph at any time. The Editor just mentioned Tuesday a couple of times the last time I was trying to sneak past his/her/it’s office door.
• Wednesdays are compulsory. Homework is due.
Newsletter
Your newsletter contribution may be submitted under one of the following categories:
• Births
• Deaths
• Marriages
• Resurrections
• Weather* (*See the ‘Detentions’ section about ‘Second Weathers’)
• Mottos and (de)motivational quotes
• Lost and found
• Dating
• Advice column
• ‘Actual’ news
• Sports
Truancy officers are always plural; there is always more than one. They need very little description except that they are usually taller than you, vaguely ominous, and don’t really talk.
Detentions
Try to avoid these, however futile it is at least make an effort. Detentions shall be administered if:
• You don’t attend Wednesday (you don’t post on Wednesday). Or see the truancy officers first thing on Thursday.
• Homework is not submitted.
• You fail to bribe the truancy officers or submit the appropriate paperwork.
• You are the second person between Tuesdays to post a weather report for the newsletter.
• A teacher or other authority figure feels like it or has it in for you.
• You break a previously and preceding unnamed rule.
• You break an ‘actual’ rule – ‘Severe’ detention may be administered.
• It is suspected that you are purposefully attempting to receive a detention - ‘Severe’ detention may be administered.
• Other reasons not described here.
Character
Picture: an inanimate such as a fruit or an umbrella is preferable to a picture of your ‘actual’ character, as your description combined with our imagination should be sufficient, but whatever
Your description should include but is not limited to:
• Species: Human/Mostly Human
• Gender: Male/Female/Other
• Orientation (optional)
• Age: Junior/Senior/In-between-ior OR older than/younger than/same as [insert name] OR an number from 12 to 18.
• Hair: yes/no, length, colour, curly/wavy/straight/other
• Body: height short/tall/’average’/other OR shorter than/taller than/same as [insert name her]
Other suggestion: Corporeal/other; colour according to the light spectrum; number of extra toes; build (e.g. ‘average’, curvy, need to eat a happy meal, Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator, Aunt Marge after that ‘accidental’ engorgement charm, athletic, etc.); etc.
• Clothes: yes/<del>no</del>, description (optional)
• Bag: yes/no, description, contents
Bags should contain:
THE Textbook. (The textbook, the Textbook, A textbook, and other such titles are incorrect.)
Something to write with.
Something to write on.
Multiple, and most likely questionable or unquestionable, other miscellaneous items.
Homework
Preferably placed on a desk of some sort written with something on something. It may also be submitted verbally to a well-described teacher or authority figure. Truancy officers will also accept homework with an apple described in detail.
