PERSONALITY
Personality DescriptionHedge is a quirky bastard, to be gentle about it. He's twitchy, easily freaked out, and always hyper. However, when he logs in to anything online or starts working with machinery at all, he's calm, cool, collected, and scarily efficient.
QuirksTwitches randomly, flitting eyes, just about all of the side effects of being a crackhead without the drugs.
FearsBeing killed while he is logged in and working to the point of forgetting he has a physical body. Has to cope with this exact fear constantly while his friends back him up on runs into high profile areas where they need him, but gets over it by having complete trust in those friends. Still scares him, and he won't log into anything alone.
GoalBecome the world's first human AI and forget his human body forever.
LikesAnything that has to do with technology.
DislikesHeavy firefights against large amounts of foes, authority, sex addicts, snobs.
Strengths It can be hacked. No exceptions. Also, though Hedge isn't so great in combat, he has pulled off some amazing reflex shots at close range with a pistol. His implanted glove combined with a reflexively twitchy body gives him an edge when he doesn't think, though he never NOT thinks unless something big happens.
WeaknessesJust about anything that has to do with physical labor or heavy fighting.
EQUIPMENT
Abilities & Skill & Combat Rating
[Perfect] - [Excellent] - [Good] - [Above Average] - [Average] - [Below Average] - [Poor] - [Very Poor]Clothing/Armor[Poor]Old combat vest passed down from the first of his American family made of old school Kevlar. Doesn't work well with most modern tech, but still can help with bullets or blades.
[Very Poor]General purpose mechanic's jumpsuit, normally tied around his waist from there up and just worn for the pants. Used to house all of his assorted tools and gear needed for things even a technopath can't do.
Combat Prowess[Above Average]Handguns. One of his loves in life is tinkering, and handguns are easy to tinker with and don't normally require a lot of tools. So he learned to use them, just in case. His, an old nine, is in top condition and very accurate. He can spin in a full circle, choose a random direction, and plug a bullseye from ten meters away without much trouble.
[Below Average]Hand to Hand. Hedge isn't a great fighter, but with his GLOVE and twitchy reflexes, he can hold his own in a fight if the need really be. He has never jumped into a fight on his own, but has been pulled into them by Zack occasionally.
Abilities[Perfect]Technopath. Hedge is great at using his mind to hack any machine he can touch and program it to do what he says long term, without constant power flow. He can even hack into some computer systems if he retains personal contact long enough.
Skills[Above Average]Lockpicking. Hedge learned this quickly on the streets to live. He can pull a bobby pin and use it to pick just about any medium or lower level lock in minutes.
[Average]Mechanic. If it's mechanical, if it has bolts, plugs, levers, pullies, if it has a gear, if it has even a scrap of metal, Hedge likes it. He may not be good with it, he may not be able to take it apart and put it back together, but he likes it.
WeaponsName: Hedge Trimmer
Type: Handgun-projectile
Ammo: 9mm
Information: Hedge got this gun by stealing everything his father owned when he left and took what looked good, selling the rest. Since becoming the gun's new owner, Hedge has made or bought extended clips that allow him to draw and open fire without aiming with now consequence, allowing his reflexes time to pick up targets and aim while the enemy is ducking away from random rounds. It resembles an old style Glock.

Bio/HistoryHedge was a weird kid starting out. As soon as he could walk, Hedge started playing with every electronic device he could find. His brothers repeatedly threw him out of their room because he snuck in and took apart the service bot they kept around. His parents tried to deal with it, but once, when he was about five, Hedge took apart the main hard drive his father used at work and the man snapped. He yanked a piece of wire from his son's hand and whipped him with it on the spot. From that point on, Hedge's living situation deteriorated quickly. His brothers saw him running away from his father, crying, blood dripping from his torn shirt and the scars he'd forever have, and figured that it was okay to finally punish the youth. Being ten years older, the two older boys had a ball making Hedge's life a living hell. After a time, Hedge's parents took to the same behavior.
Finally, Hedge snapped. He worked the lock on his father's gun case and stole the weapon inside. His parents were working at the time, so he confronted his brothers, hiding the gun. They shared a smile before raising large blades and coming after him. Hedge fell backward and reflexively emptied the entire clip in a nervous twitching session. His brothers died in the first rounds. That was the point when he knew that he'd never be able to go back. So Hedge ran to the only place he knew: the 404's. He had a friend in school that was related to one of the higher members, so he asked for safe haven, and maybe a job. They gave him both. After a couple years with them, Hedge managed to get ahold of a Hacker's Delight and boosted his since growing skills.
After becoming a good member in the 404's, Hedge met Naomi. She brought him into Wolf Pack as an honorary member when he did a job for her and Jack and made it look like a passing fancy.
Not months later, Zack raided his operations center and put one in his chest. When the soldier saved him, Hedge was so scared that he had been caught by MurCORP that he wanted to switch his life up, turn it upside down. He offered Zack a place in Wolf Pack and, in desperation, contacted Naomi and begged for an official place in the pack for them both. Naomi accepted, and they've been running with the Pack ever since.
