Personality Description
-He typically exhibits a very manic personality. He will usually be extremely friendly, loud and brash, drawing attention to himself when he really shouldn’t. Once in a while, however, he becomes very withdrawn and quiet when he seeks isolate himself. In either, he is witheringly sarcastic which often offends people he is working with or is looking for help from.

Clothing/Armor
[Excellent] Jayne has thick omni-weave over his chest and thighs, protecting the remaining organs which he has.
[Above Average] Jayne’s skin is reinforced as part of his cybernetic enhancements, using carbon nanotubes to create a protective lattice.
[Poor]Jayne wears a long leather coat, covered in stiches from where patches have been ripped off and inexperienced repairs have been made. It is made out of a flimsy material and is constantly in need of repair.

Combat Prowess
Close Combat[ Below Average]-though he has some training, close combat is fair from his strong suit.
Weapons Combat[Perfect]-The focus of most of his training, Jayne’s cybernetic enhancements have been based around maximizing his heavy weapons fire. His enhanced strength allows him to wield multiple heavy weapons and combined with the targeting systems built into his eyes.

Abilities
Skills
Marksmanship[Excellent]-With years of experience before the targeting upgrades to his eyes, combined with the advanced technology he had installed makes him an impressive shot. He temperament prevents him from being a true sniper, but he justifies this by saying that a few seconds of properly placed machinegun fire will do more than a sniper round.
Simultaneous Weapon Use[Above Average]-With his augmented strength, targeting systems and some degree of automation Jayne is capable of using multiple weapons at the same time, even if they are of different types, even to the point where he can use them for different targets. Doing this is like rubbing your stomach and patting your head at the same time: possible, but requires concentration, and causes him to become distracted from other matters which are more important.
Patience[Poor]-More than once he has leapt before looking, sometimes to disastrous consequences.
Charisma[Above Average]-Despite often appearing scruffy, Jayne can be surprisingly charming. While high class people usually despise him, ordinary people can find his lack of pretention and sense of humor enough to overlook his flaws.

Name: Monomolecular Wrist Katars
Type: Bladed, close range
Ammo: Electric battery cell
Information:Jayne’s token close quarter weapon, these are two triangular shaped blades, each stored retracted in his wrist. Using carbon nanotubes, the edge of the blades are monomolecular, giving them exceptional cutting ability. Furthermore, each houses a battery which can use the structure as a superconductor, proving a powerful electric charge similar to a shock dart. This is used to make up for Jayne’s inadequate CQC ability

Name: Rolling thunder
Type: Twin Gatling guns
Ammo: Shredder rounds, fed by ammo belt
Information: Used as part of a pair, Rolling Thunder is a set of two Gatling guns which Jayne keeps stored in flat space when not in use. He typically uses them on his arms, which helps compensate for the massive recoil. The bullets are designed to fragment in air, causing the field to be saturated in small rounds. The rounds do not have high penetrating power, and as mainly used as diffuse fire to quick or large groups of opponents.

Information:Used in cases of midrange combat when he wants to incapacitate a foe, Jayne has these concussion rifles stored on a flatspace plaque that is cycled through an claw manipulation system on his back whenever Jayne needs to use them, as they don’t have much of a recoil.

Ammo: External battery pack, feedable by clip mechanism
Information: Also typically stored in flatspace, these laser guns are slow firing but have pinpoint accuracy. Usually used on his back claw manipulation system, as they have no kickback.

Name: Maelstrom

Ammo: Specialized Mortar Shells
Information: Jayne’s ultimate ballistic weapon, Thunderstorm is a pair of smoothbore rail mortars, capable of indirect fire as well as relatively inaccurate medium range direct fire. Each shell must be manually loaded, causing a long delay in firing. But the delay allows for shells to be loaded as the situation demands, with him keeping one shell of each type per mortar. One of these shells are Uranium tipped sabots, hardened particles that penetrate using kinetic energy. Because the tips are so dense, combined with the speed provided by a railgun, they can pierce almost any armor with ease. Another two shells are mortar versions of the cyro and pyro pellets. The function similarly to their gun counterparts, only there is splash damage when they detonate. The trajectory of the shells is, of course, governed by gravity and AMP manipulation.
Equipment
-Synchronized Ocular Glove Commando Kit: An upgraded version of the Commando glove, this GLOVE when activated uses Jayne’s eyes as a user interface, using his eye movement to accept commands. When active, Jayne perceives them as if he was wearing a head set showing a holographic image. This can be used as a HUD in combat, showing enemy positions and targeting data in real time as he fights.
-Mechanical limb weapon cycling system: Grafted to Jayne’s body are mounts for Dimensional Compression Devices. While many of them are used to store ammunition, there are four vitally important ones: two on his upper arms and two on his back. Using these, Jayne is capable of materializing an additional exoskeleton which synchs with his body’s systems. The exoskeleton is composed of a central hub and four arms. Two of these arms latch on to his own arms, providing bracing and support while two curl over his shoulder. In the hub, there is a pneumatic system containing plaques. These plaques contain his weapons stored in flatspace, allowing him to materialize them in different locations, often mixing and matching to suit his combat needs.

Bio/History
Jayne was never much one for classrooms. While intelligent enough, his simply did not thrive in a classroom setting, often finding his mind wandering off. At his parents urging, he entered into college where he was picked up my a military recruiter. He found that he was far more content kicking down doors and living a soldier’s life than anything he had done before. However, his parents were firm pacifists and his career choice led to a falling out, one which they have not yet recovered from.

After a few years, his tour was nearing completion when he was offered a post at Sanctum, which paid far better and had access to technology he had never seen before. While slightly opposed to heavy cybernetic enhancements at first he gradually moved beyond simple enhancements until he was a hybrid, more machine than man.

At first he loved his work: it took him to places that he had only dreamed of traveling to as a boy, and he was helping people build a better world. But as he saw more and more despots toppled and more and more private revolutions covertly backed a contradiction slowly occurred to him. The United States was all in favor of backing rebellion, and freeing people from dictatorships, but only in ways that benefitted them. Their treatment of the, ostensibly non-violent protest group Anarchy, seemed surprisingly similar to the despots did to the protest groups in the countries he was supposed to liberate.

This contradiction nagged at him, and eventually he vocally declared it as such brought it up in public to his superiors. For them, an employee visibly challenging their authority publicly was a humiliating experience, and one that cost them a few contracts. Therefore, they chose to let him go, hoping to save face and cut their losses. Jayne, furious, saw this as a betrayal of everything they had stood for. Using what friends he had left, he managed to secure a job collecting the scraps and broken parts of the drones and cybernetic parts in the Bronx. Slowly, the anger began to foment and he started to gather the scraps instead of selling them and, using contacts to supply him with the ammunition and parts he needed.

He began to hear rumors of a different group forming in the region, one that was rapidly emerging as people to talk to whenever dirty work needed to be done. This “Wolf Pack”, seemed to treasure everything he had come to appreciate during his “exile”, so he applied to see if they could use his resources.
