Personality: Beth is quiet, reserved and not one to trust. She wouldn't be what is classically called 'friendly' but she would die for the people she loves- her little brother and her mum. She appears to be three different people to three different types of people: hostile and defensive to those she is oppressed by; quiet and moody to those she barley knows or doesn't like; and the multitasking joker she is with the few people she trusts. Her height makes her a target and Beth does what ever she can to make herself seem stronger. She won't show fear if she can help it, she'll try to take the lead if a the situation arises- and she will do anything to prove she isn't 'weak'. To say this girl has trust issues would be an understatement.

Appearance:
She has dark brown, short, hair, cut in layers just past her chin. She is very pale and burns easily so tends to avoid sunlight. Above all; she is small. She never really grew very much and if you weren't looking at her straight on, you'd believe she was a child. She is okay with her looks (although she is a girl so the level of 'okay' fluctuates often) and is fairly pretty, but hardly beauty queen material. She hates her size and is terrified it will make her a target- a contributing factor to her need to prove herself as strong.

History: Beth was born and raised in an estate in east London; thousands of miles away from where she now calls home. She lived with her dad, her little brother Sam and her mum. Her mother, Jenny Scott, was an American who had come to England years ago in search for work- and hadn't found any. She had in fact- met and fallen in love with charming man and decided to settle where she was, knowing the situation was not any better in New York. Jenny proceeded to get a shop as a shop assistant and live the best she could- having two children and keeping up with the rent in her Chadwick estate flat. Beth's dad left for another woman when Beth was 14 and Sam was 5. Jenny felt she had no other choice but to move back to America and hope life was better there. It wasn't. At her new home in New York and her new American citizenship, Beth did her best to fit in as both American Student and Partial bread-winner for the house. She looks after her family and gets good marks. It seems that's all she can do. It is fair to mention that Beth does have friends- she didn't drive everyone away. However, half of these friends live a good thousand miles away from her, and the other half can't get though the school day without being shoved in a locker or something. But she remains optimistic (sort of) that one day life will get better and she'll become the lawyer she'd always wanted to be. That is-until she became the first non-American born to be picked to enter the game.
