"Haven't you any mercy? Any sense of compassion, of kindness? Or has the curse of immortality finally broken you, causing you to succumb to sheer bitterness and hatred? I cannot believe you would dare banish us. You are fools, you are SCOUNDRELS! Mark my words, we shall come back and take our rightful places. This moment will be known as the start of your downfall, and the beginning of us."

Image

In the beginning... there were Gods- powerful beings, their sole purpose to protect the world and the mortals lurking within it. The Gods were to take care of the mortals. Not so much as to cater to their every whim, but to protect and look out for them. The mortals, in return, would respect the Gods and let them reign over the land. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement; the mortals got the protection and supplies they desired, while the Gods would receive a sense of power and never faltering respect. But over time, the Gods found this arrangement a hassle. The mortals were so needy, always whining about petty things. Almost every ten minutes, another complaint! After centuries and centuries of narrow-minded prayers and selfish demands, the Gods grew sick of the mortals.

What was the point of this arrangement? Did they really need to treat the mortals 'nicely' in order to gain their respect? They were Gods. They had amazing powers, why use them to pamper the mortals when they could use them to command the mortals? Or to treat the Gods? The mortals were a hassle, a nuisance. Why were they respected?

Image

The Gods, knowing they could easily overpower the annoying mortals, didn't hesitate to do so. They ignored the mortal's requests, rejecting them while insulting them. They went out of their way to show the mortals that they no longer cared, that they weren't going to tolerate the humans for any longer. And the mortals were enraged. They were furious, and rebelled against the Gods. They had done nothing but look up to their guardians in their time of need, and they were being punished for it? How outrageous. How ridiculous! Just because the Gods didn't want to do their job they decided to become lazy tyrants. Mortals constantly criticized the Gods, trashed their shrines and refused to listen.

And the Gods responded with violence, with physical punishment, usually related to their powers. The Goddess of Crops starved those who refused to obey. The God of Fears made humans' worst nightmares spring to life. The consequences were endless. In due time, the Gods managed to beat the mortals into submission... but they could not beat the Gods that sided with the mortals as easily.

Though at least 90% of the Gods were against the mortals, there were few that not only opposed that 90%, but had the guts to speak out against them. But doing so resulted in... costly consequences.

Out of all the Gods and Goddesses in the God Realm, only six were brave enough to say something about the Gods' actions when it came to the mortals. But the six were highly outnumbered when it came to taking sides on the argument. Though, this did not discourage the six. They went behind the other Gods' backs, and helped the mortals, gave them what they needed to survive, and supported the few mortals still willing to rebel. The six believed, with lots of effort, they could spark hope in the humans, and eventually win them their freedom. They knew it would be a long and laborious task, but the results would be worth it.

Image

The Gods were stirring. The six were causing trouble and it could very well end up badly for the Gods. It wasn't like the six were mortals. They were powerful, intimidatingly confident. They were immortal and cunning. Dealing with the six would be much harder than handling some pesky humans. They needed to be forced into a position of disadvantage. Yes, the six were outnumbered, but once again, they were immortal. The Gods' powers didn't affect them by much--- some powers, in fact, didn't affect them at all.

It was so easy to tame the mortals because they were fragile and greedy, but the six were a different story. It seemed the only way to gain an edge would to be to put them in a lower position; take away their strength, their powers, their titles as Gods. To make them weak. The question was, how? After a variety of ideas, the Gods settled with the idea of banishment. They'd strip the six of their rank and blast them into the mortal realm, their immortality reduced to nothing but being immune to aging... they were now vulnerable, looked down upon and trapped in the mortal realm. Only the Gods knew the six were living among mortals now, for they made sure to erase any history of the six's existence.

But the six weren't going to give up so easily. Even though banished they were determined to strike back, for their sake and the humans' as well. Nothing could extinguish their fighting spirit.

Our story begins moments after their banishment.

Okay, first off, anime only. Second off, I do this first come first serve. If you don't like how I do things, I apologize, but that's how I roll. I'm willing to add more characters, but the limit is ten total characters. And that's stretching it. Thirdly, reservations last 3 DAYS. Once your character is submitted you will have 4 DAYS to complete the character. I am very strict when it comes to this rule and there are no exceptions, unless you manage to provide me with a legit excuse before your reservation time runs dry.

Characters can be reserved in the OOC. I expect you to reserve stating your God/ess's power, gender and face claim. The face claim is not required, only preferred, but it must be anime. Also... if there happens to be an abundance of females (or males, in very, very, very rare occasions...) take it upon yourself to even out the genders. Any questions, ask me in the OOC. Can't wait to roleplay with you, by the way~

Verivasia's eyes fluttered open, revealing the world around her. With each second that passed, she watched as flakes of white gradually made their way down to the cold, snow-covered terrain. Around her, Savia could hear the bustling of mortals. Cries, laughter, and hushed whispers made their way around the marketplace. "So," She began to murmur, her voice distasteful. "This is where they decided to dump us? Are they planning to freeze us? Hmph. Perhaps... I shouldn't complain. This could be worse. Yuuka, would---"

While looking around, Verisavia quickly realized that she was in fact talking to no one. Oh, she thought. Freezing and separated? Fantastic. Inhaling sharply, she ignored the cold as it pierced her fair skin, bringing about a chill most uncomfortable and stood up. If she'd awaken in the mortal realm, then that surely meant the banishment had been initiated. But the others would have been banished as well, and yet... They were nowhere to be seen. Perhaps because of all the mortals wandering around, shoving, running, and jumping to their heart's content? Savia couldn't go a minute without being pushed around. At this rate, she'd never find anyone. In fact, she wasn't even sure if they were around. It was far too loud and crowded, she'd never be able to navigate, much less spot them... But perhaps something smaller could?

A smile crept on to Verisavia's face as she looked to the sky. Overhead, she'd spotted a small flock of birds. She called out to them with a mere whistle, and only half of the flock bothered paying any mind to her, which was less than satisfying. Frustrated, she whistled again, but this time she made sure to be much louder and more aggressive. The whistle was loud enough to attract attention from a few by-standing mortals, but they quickly went on to their daily business. Though most of the birds ignored her call, a few went out of their way to approach their creator. Savia then went out of her way to stay on the sidelines of the busy market. She felt it might be strange if she was caught talking to birds.

Verisavia held out her arm, and managed a smirk as three birds gingerly landed on it. She tilted her head, as if she were greeting them. She then began to whisper in bird tongue, "ah, hello my lovelies. My sincerest apologies for the sudden request, but would you three mind doing me a quick favor?"

"What's in it for us?" One of the birds asked. The other two started to chirp in agreement, repeating the same question over and over. Rolling her eyes, Verisavia answered with a less-than-satisfactory offer. "What's in it for you? Oh, I'm so terribly sorry I forgot the reward. Maybe you would settle for the chance to continue living? Or is death 'what's in' nowadays?"

Verisavia was bluffing, of course, though they didn't know. The birds quickly shut their mouths, or rather, beaks, only to follow up with, "your request, madam?"

"That's more like it. Now, I'd like you to search the perimeter for eight people in particular. If you find them, do make sure to grab their attention by whatever means necessary and lead them back to me. A simple task, is it not?" Verisavia instructed. "Oh! Do not let me forget. Inform your little pals up in the sky of my task and reward. Do make sure they help." Surely enough, the birds flew up to their flock and it didn't take long until all the birds scattered and began to scan the area. Verisavia hoped the others weren't too far away...

One blue orb peeked out from beneath a half closed lid, the other was squeezed shut to try and prevent sunlight from infiltrating its seal. It seems a Goddess could no longer nap in peace especially when her fellow Gods wanted to banish her for siding with the mortals who had begun to grow distant from their deities only for the other Gods to begin to torture them for their disobedience and laziness. Selena did not agree with these methods though which had led to her and several other Gods to being banished to the planet earth. Even her brother, God of the sun, had betrayed her and cast her aside because of differing opinions. The thought of her sibling made the fur on Selena's ears stand up in irritation and finally she peeled her eyes open only to see a bustling marketplace covered in snow.

"Too cold," Selena shivered and shook off bits of snow that were falling onto her unadorned arms. She was not dressed for this type of weather and goosebumps stood along her skin, doing nothing to keep the Goddess warm. She turned in circles in order to find something that could be used to cover herself up and conveniently found a coat that someone had discarded carelessly among the bustling human feet. She dove for the jacket, brushing off stray bits of dirt and snow and bundling herself up, fighting off the chill that was creeping up her spine. A sneeze made its way out of her nose and Selena jumped, hating this change in weather. She wanted to be back home, wrapped in blankets and nibbling on sweets.

Selena sighed and shook her head, no use fretting over what her supposed friends had done to her, it was time to get to business. She looked around the bustling marketplace, getting shoved this way and that by humans. Standing hardly above four feet tall had its disadvantages and it seems that humans either didn't see her or didn't care.

Selena's ears pricked up at the sound of a twitter. She turned in circles, attempting to find the source of the noise only to look up and see a bird. The Goddess blinked, rubbing her eyes and wondering if she was seeing things, but no, the animal was still there, flying and chirping with a sense of urgency. Immediately Selena knew who sent the animal and she scrambled to get out of the hub and to a less crowded part of the market. No one seemed to pay any mind to the girl with cat ears as she stepped on feet and clambered over crates in order to follow the bird back to whomever sent it.

Finally she gave up on trying to navigate the streets and so Selena jumped, grabbing onto the low edge of a roof and pulling herself up. She ran over houses on rooftops, scanning the snowy terrain in search of a familiar face and spotting it hiding on the edge of the market. "Aha!" Selena jumped down and pushed her way through, being a bit more aggressive with the humans and shoving when they pushed back. "Thank goodness I found you!"

Morengar awoke to find himself lying spread-eagled in the snow, in what appeared to be a woodland area. From his vantage point on the floor, he turned his head left and right, trying to look for any of the gods who were banished to the mortal world along with him. Unsurprisingly, he found none. This position he was in did not afford a good view, and the snow proved to be cold and oddly uncomfortable. He got up slowly, looking around again for any signs of familiar faces. Nothing. He hoped that they had at least all been deposited on the same landmass, otherwise reunion would prove to be a most difficult prospect.

The god of the dead looked down at his body and his hands, and to his surprise they were human instead of the usual shadowy figure. He tentatively lifted a hand up to his face and started patting at his head. Although he had not worn this face for such a long, long time, he still remembered what it looked like, but would the others even recognise him like this? Morengar made a thorough search of his robes, managing to find a few objects. A blank tome with quill and ink, an ornamental knife, and his mask, which he felt greatly relieved to see. Replacing the other items within the folds of his robes, Morengar put on his death mask and covered the rest of his head with the hood of his robes, feeling almost whole again. Now all he had to do was look for the others, or at least find a mortal settlement.

Hearing an alarmed tweet, Morengar looked up just in time to see a small bird flying away. Normally he would have dismissed it as unimportant, but the bird was flying towards a walled town. Was Verisavia there? His first few steps towards the town looked jerky and almost unnatural as he got used to having physical legs again, but instinct helped to take care of things soon enough. Once he reached the gates and saw how busy it was inside, he reluctantly took off his mask and hid it away. There was no point in being conspicuous and attracting the wrong kind of attention.

Venturing deeper into the settlement, pushing past and squeezing through the crowds where appropriate, he came across what he dimly remembered was a marketplace. And a busy one, at that. It was difficult to get a clear view above the heads of the crowd, but as soon as he spotted a familiar-looking figure leap down from a rooftop he made a beeline for that location. To his fortune, he found not only the goddess of the moon, Selena, but also Verisavia herself. "Do not be alarmed," he stated. "I am still Morengar."

Chzo’s eyes snapped open as he regained consciousness. The God of Agony found himself lying on the cold, frozen ground of an alley. As he was on the ground, he couldn't help but smile and let out a spiteful chuckle. They had banished him, the fools. He had sided with the humans, rallied against the other gods with his allies and now... this. What was this, exactly? Chzo stood up, attempting to figure out his situation. He was among humans, he knew that much. He could sense their pain, at least those among him. There was a beggar huddled in the alley for warmth, broken and harried from such a hard life, wearing nothing but rags. Chzo walked up to the man, crouching to stare the crumpled figure in the face.

The man was clearly dying, maybe having a few years left. His face was disfigured with age and disease, cataract-ridden eyes widening in horror at the bone-pale man beside him. The poor wretch attempted to back away, but Chzo's hand clamped onto his shoulder and held him fast, staring him in the eyes. The beggar's pain was a beacon, a feast for a god such as himself. His grip tightened, aged bones creaking under his strength as the man's face contorted with pain. Chzo hadn't been able to lose himself in his work for so long, he just needed a little bit of time with this forgotten soul to recover. The god was about to begin his work when he heard the frantic chirping of a bird. Ignoring the sound, Chzo lifted the man against the wall. He was about to continue when he heard the flap of wings and a sharp peck.

Chzo looked up to see the creature circling above and released the man, letting him fall back into the snow while the god kept his eyes on the creature. Was it her? He assumed the others were around, banished for their rebellion just as he had, but didn't think they would be nearby. A smile crossed his lips, mirthless and full of hate. The gods couldn't have been this foolish. They had to have known the rebellion wouldn't end with the banishment. And yet... The bird departed, circling above him once before heading off. Chzo couldn't help but feel impressed that the creature had the arrogance to dive at him. He followed, weaving his way among the people of the town.

In the throng of people clogging the pathways into the marketplace, Chzo forced his way through the crowd. He didn't see any of his comrades among the chaos. Grappling with the rather off-putting thought that he had been led stray by a bird, he nearly missed the robed figure to his left. Morengar. He always liked the Death God, he had a sense of...finality to him. Chzo drew the hood of his white cloak over his head and made his way over to the group, noting the presence of the Nature and Moon goddesses. Chzo's mad smile returned as he faced Morengar. "I thought you lost, friend.", he said, his voice was sharp, but not hostile. "It is good to see we still have allies." He nodded to the goddesses, his smile fading slightly at the lack of the other gods. "Some of them, at least."

Ashton groaned, rolling over onto his stomach before groaning again, louder, and perhaps more obnoxiously than called for. There was a thwack as Aaron smacked Ashton the hand, not up to hear his brother complaining when he wasn't in much better shape. "You had to confront him, didn't you? Next time, we talk, we don't fight. Just because we're immortal doesn't mean we can't break. We can easily break!" Aaron practically shouts at his brother as he lowers his head again, groaning himself now.

"Yeah, well you didn't have to deal with him holding you down and wailing on your face," Ashton snaps back, agitated from the pain and feeling of ichor all over him. His arm was badly broken, the bones shattered, he had a few ribs broken, and his nose certainly didn't look straight from where he could see it. "You're right, I was too busy trying to pull you out from under him," Aaron mumbled as he finally opened his eyes to look around them, sitting up. He was covered in his own and Ahston's ichor and he shivered at the sticky feeling of the golden blood.

"Where are we?" Ashton asked, still not looking past his broken nose as he reached up to it. He braced himself, then snapped his nose sharply to the right. There was a loud pop, then he groaned again. At least it was set, his arm would take longer to fix up and his ribs would take time too, but at least he was still breathing, or rather, alive since he didn't have to breath and all.

"Human world, banished for life. We need to find the others and figure something out before things get bad," Aaron mutters, clearly not pleased with anything. Ashton looks down at himself and Aaron then states, "Things aren't bad yet?" Aaron rolls his eyes and stands to go help his brother up, allowing Ashton to lean on Aaron as they walk out of looked like an empty barn. Around them, hay was strewn and a few animals stood, making odd noises that neither boy liked.

As the two emerged into the daylight, both blinking and Aaron covering his eyes while Ashton's arm hung limp at his side, Ashton asked, "Question is, how do we find them? They could be in a different country or... what's wrong with that bird?" Ashton nodded towards a bird that seemed to have taken a particular interest in them. Aaron shivered in his thin clothing. There was snow and he was missing the nice warmth of the barn. The two wore what would have passed for a merchant's sons.

It was hard to believe they were riding not too long ago when they went back to see the fight, and Ashton stepped in, nearly getting him and Aaron both killed, again. Aaron smiled up at the bird however. "Verisavia, nobody else can talk to animals like she can," Aaron says with a large grin as he allows the bird to land on his finger. The two watch it for a moment before it flies away.

"What are we waiting for, let's go follow the bird," Ashton mutters as he motions towards the bird with his head. Aaron nods and begins to move quickly before Ashton gasps and slows his pace. They'd heal faster than mortals, but it would still take time.

The two followed the bird, ignoring the odd looks they received from some of the people around them as they walked. The two walked through the market place, stumbling over each other practically. As they walked, they couldn't help but wonder if their father was watching them though the other twin didn't know they had the same thoughts. Aaron pulled into a side alley, breathing deeply, Ashton always was the more physical one.

He set Ashton down for a moment, the twin groaning as he felt his ribs shift. Aaron went to the mouth of the alley and looked out, searching for anyone he might know. He was about to give up and go grab Ashton to find a place to stay when he caught sight of a mass of birds over an alley a block or so down. That must have been Verisavia.

"Come on, we're close," Aaron states as he goes to pick Ashton up again, eliciting a groan in the process. Ashton allowed himself to be led through the market though he did allow his head to loll onto Aaron's shoulder. Aaron practically dragged his brother before the alley where he saw friends, and gods he was more acquaintances with than anything else, gathered.

Aaron allowed Ashton to drop onto a nearby pile of hay that didn't look the cleanest, but figured it was better than the dirt eliciting another groan, though this one over exaggerated and followed by a loud and annoyed Oww. "We're here too, though this idiot is in bad shape," Aaron says with a smile motioning to his brother who was trying to flip himself over with one arm. Aaron wasn't concerned for the pain, Ashton had done tons of stupid and painful things. If he hadn't been stupid and allowed himself to loose his temper he wouldn't be messed up so badly. "I'm not stupid, I just like to pick fights that have a chance to make a difference," Ashton says with a smile and slight wave with his good arm.

"No, you picked a fight with our dad, that's why you're an idiot. You've been beaten by him before, don't go back if you're going to complain after," Aason huffs as he runs a hand through his hair, spreading the ichor. "But... you'd complain too if you were broken like this," Ashton says with a roll of his eyes. Aaron just waves a hand, dismissing his brother's claims.

"Is this it? This is what we have left to keep the mortals alive?" Ashton asks, his happiness at being alive lessening as he looked at the small group. Aaron looked concerned too. There was what, six of them? They were doomed if this was all. Aaron ran a hand of his chin to clear it of the ichor, rubbing his hand on his pant leg as he took a seat by his brother, leaning against the building behind him, trying to work out any way that they might all come out of this, alive and well. Aaron and Ashton were happy to see the others, it meant they weren't entirely alone, but it also meant that they were low on any luck, if only the goddess of luck had joined their plea.

-----Yuuka felt the familiar feeling of cold, freshly fallen snow on her back and immediately knew she wasn't in the realm of the Gods any more. The weather had been much warmer over there, though she was complaining. She enjoyed cold weather, a given since she was the God of Ice. After a few moments of reveling in the comforting feeling of the snow, she opened her eyes. Her suspicions were indeed confirmed. She was no longer in the world she had grown accustomed to, banished for simply siding with the humans. Knowing that the Gods were abandoning their sole duty as Gods made her furious, and she immediately revolted. With this, the Gods had banished her. Well, them. The Gods had banished several or more other Gods who also sided with the humans into the mortal realm. Though, just where were the others? Had they been separated during their banishment?

-----The area Yuuka was in was was crowded with many humans, many trying to shove their way past others to get to where they needed to be. She hoped that the odd coloring of her hair and eyes wouldn't attract too many looks, as she wanted to refrain from any contact with anyone until she was able to find the other banished gods. Because of these traits she often stuck out like a sore thumb, and it wouldn't be too hard to find her if you knew what you were looking for. Although the weather was especially cold, Yuuka wasn't even slightly bothered by it. She has experience much colder conditions and this wasn't so hard to deal with. She veered off to the edges of the market, to keep herself from being noticed by too many people, trying to hide herself from the rest of the world as much as she possibly could. While making sure not to draw any attention, she began searching the massive horde of people and looked for any sight of familiar faces.

-----A bird was circling around her immediate area before it flew off. Wondering if it Verisavia who had sent the birds to go find her and possibly more of the other Gods, she knew that some of the others may have been in the same predicament she was in. Maybe the Gods that had banished them had deliberately separated them, hoping that they would never be able to find each other and band up again. She was still quite irritated that they had thought to do such a thing, thinking that it would do them any good, throwing their problems away instead of dealing with them like responsible people. Some of the Gods have always been that way, acting like they don't have to do anything and just be praised and worshiped by the humans they'd ruled over. With the rest of the Gods adopting this bad habit they those few gods simply used that as an excuse. At times Yuuka had to fight to stop herself from freezing them in a huge block of ice and leaving them that way.

-----After a few minutes of searching, she managed to find Verisavia, Selena, Morengar, Chiz, Ashton and Aaron. On the inside she relaxed a bit, glad to have actually found her lost companions, though her expression didn't falter on the outside. She didn't greet her fellow banished gods, instead she simply sat down next to the little group they had formed on the edge of the market. Some knew that she didn't talk very much, with the exception of a few little words here and there, and they shouldn't have been surprised that she didn't greet them or anything, as she wasn't keen on formalities either.

The halls of Wisdom, the epicenter of knowledge was brimming with life. Twelve gods surrounding one god who was sitting upon a large sphere. The little god smirked as he watched his ignorant brethren begin to take action against him and his colleagues. Ze knew that the foolish gods would attack him and his comrades at some point but he wasn't expecting it now. No. He should've expected it. IT was his own fault for not. "You all seem confident," he said as he held his hand, a violet glow surrounding his childlike body,"but don't forget who I am." Large rays of violet shot off into the many gods, knocking them back as he prepared barrier to surround him. He had to act quickly, they were caught off by his sudden attack for now but who knew how long it would take them to reorganize themselves. A defense against the many powers that each god would bring is needed and as he crafted his barrier a familiar presence revealed itself. He turned his up to meet the eyes of his king. The God that had taken the role of being their sovereign was obscured by some type of shroud but a sense of danger told Ze that something terrible was about to happen. He looked around himself and black rodes of dark energy were releasing some kind of dark power. "DAMN!" Pitch, black, darkness surrounded the age old god of Magic and Wisdom, his power restrained by the power of the gods that attacked; giving him no hope to escape from its grasp. It was an ancient form of magic that was made to use for punishing gods that went against the natural order. A surge of dark lighting came from the black sphere electrifying him and knocking him unconscious.

Two multicolored eyes fluttered open, as the child-like god Ze searched his surroundings, absorbing in the information of the place from where he awoke. He was sitting against a crate, some kind of decorated wool was inside that was meant to be shipped off or sold. It was also freezing, with small white flakes of snow falling all around him. He tried getting off the ground but an immense surge of power coursed through him, shaking his body violently as he felt his powers leave. "Agrh." 1... 2... 3... He counted slowly in his head. A golden chain brimming with power was wrapped around his small right arm. He could feel the raw magic of the king of gods restraining his power. He knew what the chain was. The golden chain was an item he had proposed of making eons ago, to reign in a few troublesome gods, but the notion was dismissed. "So you banish me and take my power away." Ze said, his voice venomous with hate, "and give me this thing." He rose his chained right handed and shook it at the sky. With those words said Ze tried to get off of the ground and away from the crate. His legs struggled to keep him up, threatening to give way as he finally began gaining control of his body. It was a challenge but he managed to take a single step before falling.

"Crap, they really did a number on me." Ze looked around the area for any assistance but none of the merchants or travelers seemed to pay him any attention. I'll have to find the others if I want walk, but the question is where are they, and more importantly is how do I contact them.... oh speak of the devil A lone bird flew in sky above him searching for something, he could tell. He knew who was controlling it, Verisavia goddess of nature and a ally of his. Bringing two fingers to his lips, a small high-pitch whistle resounded through out the place, but unlike a ordinary whistle this one was embedded with magic. Howl of the earth - a basic earth magic that brought the attention of any animal that it was directed at. The bird landed on his shoulder, chirping away at him, though he didn't understand the language of animals that well he caught the word 'scary woman' and 'death', and knew that it truly was Verisavia bird. "Go and tell Verisavia that my powers are being restrained and that I am unable to move. Go now." The bird flew off his shoulder but not before chirping some thing that he didn't quite understand. "I hope that bird gets to Verisavia before this cold gets to me." Using his hands to bring himself against the crate, Ze hugged his small kid knees and blew hot air to keep warm. Hopefully they can make it to me. Hopefully.

Caleb stood at the counter of the merchant that had ripped him off. He had just sold one of his last belongings to get enough money to make it through the week, yet the merchant had given him less than half of what it was worth. He needed that money. If his friends hadn't told him he hadn't gotten a fair deal, well, he'd be in trouble. "Give me my money," He demands as he leans against the counter. The merchant smiles a sickly smile and shakes his head.

"Listen Caleb, you gotta realize, business is business, sometimes you get cheated. I'm teaching you a lesson," He says with a wink before pushing Caleb back causing him to stumble. "Get out before I call for help," He demands, now not amused with Caleb's attempts. Caleb huffs as he stands and starts towards the door, however, before leaving, he rushes back to pluck his mother's necklace right out of the merchant's greedy hands. He rushes out the front door, ignoring the calls for him to stop and being a called a thief.

A large group of hired mercenaries, hired by the merchants throughout the market, aimed their attention at Caleb. "You, boy, stop," They call as they rush towards him, weapons drawn. Caleb, realizing he wasn't in the best situation, took off. He jumps on a nearby cart, swinging himself up n a nearby inn's low roof before rushing across rooftops to avoid his pursuers. Only when he came across a house that didn't have a roof that could hold him did Caleb hesitate, glancing down and back to see the mercenaries still had him in site.

Jumping down, hoping to loose them through the back alleys, Caleb realizes only too late that he had people below him, people who looked rather odd and misplaced, and now at the wrong place at the wrong time. He tried to call out a warning to the girl with the white and black hair but was not quick enough as he fell towards her, hoping he wouldn't hurt her as he tried to wrap her in a hug as he made contact, turning to land on his back, hard. The wind was knocked out of him as he released the girl, unsure if she was even in his arms or not.

He rolls over, groaning, looking at the lot around him. "Uh... sorry, I didn't mean to run into her, or you all. Just, trying not to get killed, or arrested right now," Caleb manages as he reaches to his back, still groaning about having landed right on it. The people around him looked rather strange with their hair colors and various ages. He wondered what they were doing. Caleb then looked to the girl he had nearly crushed. "I'm so so sorry ms, I never intende-..." Caleb's apology drifted off as he looked to her face, finding his jaw slackening and his ability to form words failing him.

"Hi... My name's Caleb. Are you all lost or looking for something?" He asks, more directly aimed at the girl with the black and white hair than anyone else.

Verisavia smiled as she watched her friends gather, pleased that her birds had done the job."How charming. Since we're all here now---" Her sentence was cut short as she spotted of the birds she'd recruited earlier flutter down and chirp on to explain how Ze's movement was bound. Her pleasant smile was replaced by a look of spite, inspired by the Gods who'd banished them in the first place. "Alright then... Perhaps we are not all here. Ze's powers are being restrained... I'm afraid he is unable to move. And I've decided, with this new development, it would probably be best if we were to go out and find Ze. I'm not sure if it's necessary for all of us to go, but that's simply up to everyone else. What kind of person would I be if I decided everything?" She twirled to the bustling of the market and motioned for the bird to show her the way. "If anyone wishes to accompany me, I implore you to come along."

As Verisavia flashed a wave to her allies and twirled to face the busy streets she spotted a group of merchants, weapons drawn and lips curling to form a snarl. Seconds later she heard a male mortal cry out from behind. Turning around, Verisavia spotted a blonde male leaping from a roof and heading straight for Yuuka. Even Verisavia cried out in warning, though by the time a yell managed to escape her lips the boy had already made contact with the Goddess of Ice. "A graceful landing, yes?" Verisavia found herself murmuring.

She listened as Caleb spoke and crossed her arms, a small smirk finding its way onto her face. "Uh... sorry, I didn't mean to run into her, or you all. Just, trying not to get killed, or arrested right now," She looked to the group of rather unhappy merchants and snickered. Verisavia nodded her head in the direction of the merchants while eying the flock of birds from earlier. With another loud whistle she got their attention and they caught her stare. She once again nodded toward the group and smirked in satisfaction as they got the message. Within seconds the flock of birds darted toward the merchants, pecking and jabbing at them. Verisavia watched as the merchants scattered, shooing away the birds and swinging at them over and over again, but to no avail. "I do hope that fixes your problem for now. Now, if you will all excuse me, I am searching for Ze. Join me if you must, I really don't mind," and with that, Verisavia was off.

One by one, several of the other deities managed to find their way to the mortal settlement, thanks to the birds Verisavia had called upon to do her bidding. With the rune emblazoned on Morengar's forehead, the others had been able to recognise him. While not all of their associates had managed to arrive as of yet, the fact that more than half of them were here already was very good news indeed. The pantheon had made a grave mistake putting them so close together instead of having them scattered across the entire world. It would only take much less time for them to be reunited.

The only one of the gods that had given Morengar more than a glance in his direction was Chzo, the god of pain. The deranged deity's wide grin was met only by a look of blank disdain from Morengar. Suffice to say, he did not share the sentiment. While wondering what their plan of action was going to be from here, it was Verisavia who ended up providing one. Ze had been restrained, and they had to go find and assist him. Plain and simple, just how Morengar preferred it. Before they could set off, however, a wild mortal appeared from one of the rooftops overlooking them, landing right on top of Yuuka. Verisavia dealt with the mortal's accompanying adversaries without delay before going to find Ze, although the god of the dead couldn't help but wonder if this man might have actually been a known criminal that they had unwittingly aided.

Regardless, there was little need to trouble himself with the affairs of mortals. Morengar followed the nature goddess with all due haste, his long strides covering a surprising distance with each step.

Re: When Gods Unite

Unfortunately my health is deteriorating once more and I don't have as much time for RP's as I'd like. I don't want to hold you all back so I'm going to withdraw my characters. Good luck with your RP

Re: When Gods Unite

Alright, awesome. He's been accepted. :)

Re: When Gods Unite

It's changed, it'll just take a bit for the icon to change since I just did it about a half hour ago. ;)

Re: When Gods Unite

Oh! I see. Do you mind changing the FC to anime?

Re: When Gods Unite

I have one human we can use!

Re: When Gods Unite

Let the posting begin~

Re: When Gods Unite

Fair enough. We're starting today, then. :3

Re: When Gods Unite

Make basic bitch warriors to just assist the story-line as supporting characters that grow along the roleplay.

Re: When Gods Unite

I'd argue that the mortals would be more like secondary characters. As such, I don't think it would be too important to have to wait for people to come up with ideas and submit them. It's not like these mortals would IMMEDIATELY be on the scene, in any case.

Re: When Gods Unite

Maybe, like, a day? I want to start ASAP! I haven't posted in forever!

Re: When Gods Unite

That'd be awesome. And if we're making human characters... then I hate to say this to those who are excited to start, but wouldn't we want to wait until those characters were done until we began the rp?

Re: When Gods Unite

Would you want me to make a human using an old character of mine as the basis? If everyone made one human we'd have plenty to make the characters have a stronger reason to defend humans. :)

Re: When Gods Unite

Bleeeeh. I hate it when this happens; work stuff. I can't post tonight, but tomorrow is a definite. Emergencies, am I right?

Re: When Gods Unite

An awesome thought, at that. In my opinion, at least, it would be wise to do so. It would be fun to see how these treasured mortals would do, their memories of our gods pretty much gone. And, of course, the storyline is in fact going to be ours on the run trying to come up with some kind of plan.

Re: When Gods Unite

So... what's the storyline going to be? Our gods on the run trying to come up with a plan to beat the other gods? Maybe we should throw in a few mortal characters so there's some people that our gods actually like... want to fight for. Just a thought. :)

Re: When Gods Unite

Well, I'll be honest, it was kinda hard to decide between the two, though now that you mention it medieval fantasy does sound a bit more fitting. So, medieval fantasy then.

Re: When Gods Unite

Idk I think it may really give the rp a bit more realism. Like seriously within a medieval fantasy setting gods are bound to be more proactive and humans are going to be a bit more noble and selfless, but throw this in modern times and with everything that has happened with advancements in technology humans would start to rely on the gods less and begin to take stuff for granted. This way the influx of selfish wishes that humans are bombarding the gods for happens.

Also, it could've been really old medieval times when the gods began feeling the pitful plights of mortals was getting to be annoying and started slowingly cutting themselves off completely.

Throw our characters into going against the gods during the medieval setting but are thrown and banished and all of a sudden they find themselves in a modern montropolis needing to fed for themselves...

IDK, thats what I'm thinking its going to be like. :P
