Fasea's port is ancient even by Kethadrian standards. It is the bloodline connection between Kethadria and Egypt. Most trade from the Egyptians runs through the Fasea entrance, and makes its way up the southern trade road into the capital road in the north, to the capital of Aiatse. Only some more daring merchants sale straight to the capital's port, or to other ports around the nation, hoping to make more of a profit off of demand. Like Natalan, Fasea is a smaller city. Unlike the aristocracy of Natalan or Aiatse, however, Fasea's residency is dominated by traders, merchants, agriculturalists, and people of medium wealth. The most unique thing about Fasea is the amount of foreign children who arrive on the ship, but possess the sign of the Gift. Fasea has its own temple and overseers that guide these children, and those that are exceptional are sent over the capital road to Aiatse, to meet Simin and study beneath her.
