NEW RP, ACCEPTING CHARACTERS. Hello, my friendly (hopefully) role-players! If you are here, that means you want to get in on some zombie-slaying action!
Before you do any of that, here are a few rules and guidelines about the RP:
1. You are not a samurai, and even if you are, there is no way that you would survive running into a horde of dead and slice all their heads off. This is a realistic RP, not an anime.
2. If you have any questions about the RP or suggestions, do not be afraid to PM me or leave an ooc message at the end of a post. I don't bite :)
3. Please be realistic when you role-play. That means no rocket-launchers or other big weapons that are most likely not going to be found while looting an abandoned house.
4. There is no cure for being dead, therefor, your character will not cure all the undead with their magical scientific abilities. Your character can, however, wistfully dream about a cure for those who are dead.
5. Please be patient with those you are role-playing with (myself included), because some of us are not able to be on 24/7.
6. In the event that the undead are to bite or scratch you, you will become one of them in a little under 12 hours. If they bleed or salivate into an open wound, you will become infected and turn into them in under 8 hours. The symptoms for both situations are as follows:
*1st and 2nd hour: You will become fidgety and nervous.
*3rd-4th: Your eyes may become blood-shot and your skin slightly paler than normal. The wound will start to become swollen and infected looking.
*5th-6th: Your eyes are even more blood-shot, you can't think straight and become paranoid.
*7th-8th: You are prone to slightly violent outbursts, frustration at things you once thought simple. The skin around your wound is extremely inflamed.
*9th-10th: You lash out violently and are prone to extreme paranoia and hallucinations (seeing things that aren't actually there, thinking someone is out to get you)
*11th-12th: Your skin is horribly pale, you are violent. You eventually slip into a coma and wake up a few minutes later as one of the undead.
7. If you do not wish to be one of the undead, kill your character off with a quick shot to the head or ask someone to do it for you. If they do not want to, what you do is up to you.
8. Please use good grammar and spelling. This is a realistic RP, therefor you cannot be typing things such as: *jumps off ledge* You can type things like: He jumped off the ledge and landed with a thud on the ground.
9. Please don't RP in first person, it gets confusing. Try to do third-person omniscient.
10. If you want to develop a relationship with someone else's character and it is okay with them, then by all means, go ahead.
11. Have fun and don't forget to give me suggestions for the storyline, things that should happen, etc.
Here is an example of the form you have to fill out to describe your character:

Name: Idalis D. Winston
Age: 25
Appearance: Dark brown skin, light brown eyes.
Hair Style and Color: Black, wavy, goes down to the middle of her back.
Height:5'4"
Weight: 113 lbs.
Build Curvy. wide hips, not too athletic but good at running
Personality: Idalis is usually friendly and quick to trust those she meets if she thinks them trustworthy. She is motherly and extremely talkative. She is usually the first to confront someone about an issue or just for a conversation. If anything happens to her friends, she is quick to be angered and goes into protective mode.
Biography: Before the apocalypse happened and the dead started walking around, Idalis was a nurse at her town's local hospital and was tending to a sick patient when he attacked and tried to bite her. She managed to fend him off and requested the rest of the day off which the hospital was quick to give, having to deal with a much bigger crisis. She went home to find that her boyfriend had been bitten and ended up having to kill him herself with one of his own baseball bats after at first having to fend him off with a plastic broom so she could make it to his closet.

Items carried/Weapons: Idalis carries with her a backpack full of supplies, a med kit (in said backpack), and an aluminum baseball bat. She does not like to use guns because she cannot aim very well.
