Code Name Details: Loki, the trickster god of fire, perfectly describes Levi's impulsive intelligence. Though his methods are seemingly erratic and unpredictable, there is a logic to his actions that few can understand. Neither lawful nor evil, he is a true neutral in every sense. Good is still considered better than evil, but to the Moor, it doesn't make much of a difference when the entire system is taken into consideration, much like the perspective of the anti-hero Loki.

Personality:
Loki is a very decisive, original and insightful individual, which tends to encourage others to follow in his lead. However, he prefers to remain out of the spotlight, particularly when the discussion is no longer of interest. He is more of the "man behind the curtain" though he is ready to assume the leadership position if need be. When it comes to teamwork however, Loki tend to leave others (and his respect for them) behind if they do not catch on his unorthodox, often brilliant and at times troublesome plans. Any limitations and restrictions frustrate him, motivating the young Moor to reach for higher ranks simply for the freedom and power it allows. To him, rules are not concrete for nothing should be free from evaluation.
Though it is uncharacteristic of his kind, Loki is somewhat imaginative as well, always finding improvements in every aspect of his life. As he values his work, this results in a great deal of time spent in developing his skills. Unfortunately this does not include the emotional sort, which like most of his kind, he struggles with. His own emotions can be difficult to express, which is particularly detrimental in romantic relationships if any. Flirtation is lost to him, but not on him, though his friendliness and wit tend to make up for his unwillingness to participate in love games. Loki is one to commit to long-term relationships of any sort, and one would be hard pressed to find a more loyal or practical friend.

When the letter arrived from Moorden School System, single mother Olivia Morton could not be more thankful to ship away her only child. Levi on the other hand, was hesitant to attend a new school, though at his young age, he was unaware of the implications. On the first day in fact, when the child looked to his mother for words of encouragement, she replied plainly: "What? Are you expecting me to cry or something? Hurry up and get out of the car." This was along the same vein as most of their one-sided conversations, where Olivia did her best to lecture Levi until he cried. Innocently, he believed that she had good reason and that the fault laid with him, but even so, MSS became a sort of sanctuary for the boy. When his codename was given, Levi excitedly shared the news with his mother. They had named him after a god after all, and a powerful one at that, but Olivia was unenthusiastic.
"You know what your nickname was when you were a baby? Noisy bastard, because you cried all the fucking time and were so picky about everything. I suffered so much because of you."
Naturally, Loki carried his guilt and insecurities into the classroom, making mistakes where one of which nearly killed him. Bionic introduction was less risky yes, but it was hardly perfected. Rather than go slow, he tried to rush the system and find shortcuts, as though this achievement would give him some sense of self worth. After the incident, his instructors kept a closer eye on the boy, monitoring his home life through the use of bionics.
As home life became less and less relevant to Loki, Olivia grew more desperate for attention despite her otherwise negligent behaviour. When Loki's blonde hair began to darken to a tea green, she commented: "Everyone tells me I have such a handsome son. It gets old. But now you ruined the only thing you had going for you. Thank god you're a Moor." Her biting comments continued at greater frequency, at times waking up Loki in the middle of sleep for a lecture. She also attempted to manipulate situations and family members to appear as the victim, setting all blame on her son. Though as a Moor, Loki was becoming more distant, Olivia continued to elicit feelings of hatred and anger in him that was counterproductive to his learning. Noticing this, it was decided that Loki be removed from his household and live in the dorms instead. Since 11, he's resided alone with the occasional visit of a nanny.
Afterward, Loki was able to focus all his attention on his education, improving quickly. He absorbed all that he could, entertaining himself with reading and training with what spare time he had. At the same time, he maintained a healthy social life with his fellow Moors, finding friends that helped him move past the consequences of his mother's treatment. During his preteen years, he learned that Olivia suffered from narcissism, as well as methods to counteract her attacks. This of course launched his interest in incorporating mind games and manipulation into battle tactics, particularly of the offensive variety. Loki was quick to use his peers and unsuspecting humans as test subjects, at times crossing the line, particularly with humans.
During the competitive years of 15-16, Loki grew confident to the point of arrogance. When he was paired up with his first partner, he was quick to dispose of the incompetent fighter. Some leniency was given to him due to his upbringing and so he suffered no punishment. For his second fighter, Lupo, he failed to be rid of her after she survived his tricks. However, Loki knew better than to continue the bloodbath, and MSS grew wiser in matching him with a partner. His current fighter, Silver, was adept at thwarting Loki's plans - at least to stay alive - and more importantly, is considered worthy to the critical Moor.

Many times, Loki has had thoughts of killing his mother, particularly now that he is old enough to understand the severity of the emotional and verbal abuse.
He is much less concerned with others than he appears. The friendly personality portrayed does stem from somewhere, but it is greatly amplified for social convenience. One wonders if Loki had perhaps grown up in a healthier home, that that would be who he would have grown into.
One day, Loki hopes to have some semblance of a family, as if to replace the one stolen from him.

As a Calculator, it is expected that they remain in control of the situation. Naturally, losing control is a sign of failure and incompetence, which he can not allow. This leads to the fear of losing his abilities, as his sense of self-worth is highly dependent on his Moor status. Without his career and skills, he would be nothing more than a human like his mother. Likewise, to continue the cycle of abuse started by Olivia would be devastating to Loki, who strives to be nothing like her.

Silver - Ironically, the one partner he could deal with was one that resembled him the most. With their blunt, at times frigid nature and wit, they make for an infamous pair. Loki knows that even when it comes to his most unorthodox and risky plans, there's an underlying trust between the two that allows Silver to execute with confidence. Out of the Moors, it is around his partner that he can be some semblance of his true self.

Beacon - Having met at Moorden, the fighter and calculator pair naturally clashed. With their natural leadership abilities, the two became a particularly troublesome duo when they began to rally the two subgroups against one another. Both revelled in the rivalry, the challenge. In a strange way, they also gained respect for each other. Even after the groups were divided, whenever they'd see one another, playful insults would be quick to fly.

Lupo - After his initial partner was killed, Loki was paired up with Lupo. Finding her unworthy of his criteria, he attempted to dispose of her but failed when she narrowly survived. Naturally, the fighter now holds a grudge against Loki though he reciprocates with much worse - indifference.
Owl - It was hard for Loki to not know about Owl - or the Devereaux boy - as his mother so frequently pointed out. Being neighbours with such a family certainly didn't help with the comparisons and more than once, Olivia has commented that she'd prefer young Matthieu over her own son. All the love that was meant for Loki was instead, directed to the already pampered rich boy. Unsurprisingly, he could not help but bear a jealous grudge toward the boy that persisted despite multiple attempts to move on from his past traumas. Even now, his social mask sometimes falters when it comes to Owl.
Shock - Shock is one of the few people that know of Loki's past and has helped, in some part, in deal with his conflicting emotions. Though he is normally guarded, the he finds it easier to share with the empathetic Moor.
Sibyl - In their youth, the two were briefly paired up for tutoring sessions to catch the younger Moor up to speed. At times, Loki found the fighter to be much too flighty and unfocused and at others, she was an amusing distraction. Just as well, when the stress and guilt from his home life grew too much, Sibyl became a target for his frustrations. Naturally, she reciprocated with stubbornness and he with childish pride, neither willing to give in. Fortunately, the two were released from their commitment soon after.

Vulkn - The two have been acquainted but Loki is indifferent toward the easily angered fighter, as he is with most of his peers. However, Vulkn does seem to show up every now and then, his eye often wandering toward the green haired Moor. Though it is not confirmed, Loki suspects he is keeping tabs on the calculator, likely due to the murder of his first partner. After all, when a fighter generally finds interest in him, it is usually about his misdeeds toward their kind.
Aiden - Loki's mentor in the study of bionics and technology. The two met shortly after Aiden began visiting Moorden on business, catching the attention of Julius's one time admirer. Though he is nothing like the arrogant, magnetic personality of his twin, through Aiden, Loki has been able to learn more about his friend.
Bright - Most know Dr. Bright through routine bionic check ups, particularly Loki who had more than usual when his body reacted uncommonly toward bionic integration. There were always rumours surrounding the brilliant doctor, but only a handful true as Loki came to find out. Though the government attempted to keep it quiet, it wasn't difficult to uncover the truth. Despite his humanity, Loki found himself admiring Bright's ingenuity and grows ever curious of the man.

Sandra - Loki has met with the woman a few times when his profile was due for an update, but otherwise, he knows little about Sandra aside from her direct and strong personality. She's likely one of the few humans he considered to be more tolerable, mainly due to her achievements and benefit toward the Moors.

Due to an uncommon side effect of bionics, Loki's blonde hair has darkened to a tea green. Otherwise, there no other changes to his appearance. The same indifferent blue in his eyes and relaxed position of his lips. Preferring to keep his hair long, Loki has grown it to a waist length and manages it with a low ponytail. The odd choice of hairstyle has made him stand out, as most tend to refer to the wavy, thick hair as the paintbrush. With his usual black and white hat, he keeps his sweeping bangs out of his eyes, allowing him to work unhindered. Though he grew up in an upper middle class environment, Olivia kept most of the money herself and allowed Loki few "luxuries, including non-tattered clothes. Now, the Moor makes an effort to choose quality fabrics and to dress well.
