Title: Guardian to the Heiress
Weapon(s) of choice: A double halberd,
, which is christened "Crescent Moon".
History/Background: Raised by a common family, he was pushed by his father to enlist in the Royal Army at the age of 17, in order to bring some sort of prestige and honor to the family name. Throughout his training, the values of honestly, responsibility and honour were instilled into his mind, and it is due to this reason that his overwhelming desire to obey and follow the rules - his "goody-two-shoes" personality - has emerged.
It was during this time that his younger brother, Xaul, was caught breaking into the throne room in the Yuolja palace. Xaul was faced with the decision of either imprisonment or serving for the Royal Army, and thus Rapaj cut all interpersonal ties with his brother entirely due to his blatand disregard for order and the law. The family then followed suit and disowned the youngest son, labelling him as a "utter disgrace" and a "delinquent." It is due to this reason that bringing honor to the family name rests solely on Rapaj's shoulders, a burden from which he will never be released.
Soon afterwards, news of the early retirement of the former Guardian of the Heiress (which, for some reason, came as little a surprise to the Royal Family) arrove, and Rapaj was enlisted to act as the bodyguard and overall guide/advisor to the Princess Nikki. Despite her constant disobediance, Rapaj is deadset on instilling some sort of orderliness and rules into the Princess, no matter how hard she may protest. He is constantly at her side in times of battle and, as such, is always on her ass about her actions - regardless of how reckless they actually are. Even so, Rapaj is attempting to fulfill his role by following the rules that are found within The Code of the Fallen Star, an ancient tome written by the very first Guardian of the Heir almost 9000 years ago that has been passed from generation to generation as almost a sort of religious practice. However, with the ever-constant War in the background, Rapaj is finding it hard to hold onto these set-in-stone guidelines, making it a matter of time before he must abandon the Code in its entirety.

Title: Queen of the Fallen Star Empire
Weapon(s) of choice: Master of the Art of Magick (emphasis on Elemental and "The Ancient Magick", or Death Magick), an ancestral sword,
, named "Yuolichena (The Fallen Star)"
History/Background: Brought up in the Royal Family, as was raised as the Princess of the nation. Raised on the ideals and traditions of the past, she has become disillusioned by the amoral, and almost sacriligious state of the modern Empire and, as such, has attempted to bring with her ascension to the throne after the untimely death of her older brother (The Late King Juota IX) the old traditions of the Ancients, but has found little success in doing so. However, with the recent invasion of the former nation of Errachim (what is now called Traachou), Quonya finds little time in dawdling in domestic affairs and instead focuses most of her attention on the War, leaving the rest of the policy-making in the hands of the Royal Court. Nonetheless, Queen Quonya is aware that her time on A'lea is limited now (her "heart has become weighted by the world") and is trying to educate her granddaughter, the heir to the throne, in politics other subjects to better her for when the time has come for her to ascend to the throne, yet to her dismay, her granddaughter's reluctance serves to bring the Queen to ponder the fate of the Empire in the near future.
