Sith EmpireSITH EMPIREOur story will take place approximately 4,500 BBY, just after the death of Naga Sadow, and we are completely omitting Freedon Nadd. A war with the Republic has just been started by Naga Sadow. Unfortunately he died in battle, and there is now a void in the Sith leadership. The main groups of conflict in the story will be The Sith Empire, The Jedi Order (technically, the Sith Empire is at war with the Republic, but as most of the fighting will take place between Sith, Neutrals and Jedi, we will omit any largescale battles, and focus more on the Force-user on Force-User action).
The Sith EmpireThe Sith Empire consists of over 120 inhabited worlds, mostly slave planets, but those won't come into the story much. The Empire is ruled by a Sith Council, comprised of ten Sith Lords. The members of the Sith Council, as opposed to the Jedi Council, take a very active role in Sith Affairs, often going on more important missions themselves. The Sith Empire is in the process of acquiring several Force based weapons and machines for the war against the Jedi. These include the lightsabers of various powerful, living and dead, Sith Lords and Jedi. Also on the list are several machines used for Sith Alchemy and Sorcery, including one that manufactures artificial lightsaber crystals personalized to the user.
The Jedi OrderThe Jedi Order and it's structure are familiar to most, so I won't bore anyone. The Jedi Order is also immersed in finding said artifacts.
The Order of The Ah ZhirrThe Order of the Ah Zhirr was formed by Anto Varyse upon leaving the Sith. It is comprised entirely of former Jedi and Sith, Anto thinking it too much trouble to take recruits unless they were already trained in the Force. The teachings of the Ah Zhirr revolve around Force cloaking and stealthy infiltration. The Order of the Ah Zhirr is one of many groups of neutral force users, but it is the largest, and has the most formidable reputation. It is comprised of around a dozen teams who accept payment for their services as mercenaries, mostly infiltration missions. Anto has hand picked the best, and formed his elite team of a dozen of his students. this elite team is perhaps the most feared and respected mercenarial team in the Galaxy. The Order offers its services to anyone who can afford the fee, including the Sith Empire, or various other wealthy clients. The Jedi Order very rarely makes use of them, but it has happenned. The dozen teams of the Order simply go on missions assigned by clients, but Anto often uses his own elite team for his own purposes.
The RepublicThe Republic is in a Golden Age. With the proliferation of the Jedi Order, peace has spread throughout the galaxy. The only current threat to peace is the newly discovered Sith Empire, a completely unexpected development. While the Republic is effective, it is steeped in bureaucracy, often taking weeks to get anything done. The Republic Forces (not clones, as Kamino has not started doing that yet,) are engaging the Sith on many of the border worlds, and losing. If there is any hope of saving the Republic, it must be the Jedi.

1: While perhaps possible among the pantheon of Star Wars races, no immortal characters, unless you plan on not engaging in battle.
2: No Force powers that automatically kill/maim.
3: Keep in mind that during battle, only the character's owner can decide if a power hits them, or affects them in any way. I would hope that all players would try to make them interesting, however, and not one-sided.

Tall even for an Anzat, Anto stands at 6' 4. The Anzati are a near human race, with paler skin and darker hair. The most major difference is the two prehensile tendrils hidden in the cheeks, which may be extended to drain the luck of victims. (The wiki article says that this has to happen throuh the nose, but I'm gonna change that to just having to pierce the skin for practicality, but only if no one minds, as it is a minor deviation from canon.) The left side of his face is covered in horrific burn scars, as well as most of his torso.
Equipment:-Ship: Anto owns a
Rendili Stardrive Light Corvette, the Mantabog’s Victim, which has been heavily modified to suit his needs. The captain’s quarters have been expanded quite heavily, and made quite more luxurious, to be Anto’s quarters. A solitary and soundproof meditation chamber was also added. As Anto is nearly constantly traveling, the captain’s quarters onboard the Mantabog’s Victim his primary residence.
The crew quarters have also been modified to resemble a dormitory for Anto’s students, who also form the crew.
-Weapons:
Dual Lightsabers. Anto wields two matching indigo-bladed lightsabers, that he spent the greater part of the last century constructing. They have a slight curve in the hilt, for enhanced dexterity in their use.
Both are dual-phase, at a default length of 1.4 meters, extending to a maximum length of 1.7, and a minimum of 1.0. They have special attachments on the end of each hilt, so that the individual sabers can be twisted together to form a deadly double-bladed lightsaber.
The beams of his lightsabers are augmented by special crystals in the hilts, causing them to be especially powerful, cutting through most metals like cardboard.
In addition, Anto carries a
Zeison Sha Discblade, which he wields with deadly accuracy due to his Zeison Sha training. His Disc is imbued with the Force for easily handling, and a cortosis weave to resist lightsabers.
Anto also carries twin model
22T4 Holdout Blasters, for situations in which lightsabers become inefficient. While coming nowhere near the mastery he has with lightsabers, he is fairly proficient with blasters.
-Armor: Anto wears traditional
Sith robes in a deep purple hue. Underneath these, Anto wears a variant of
Jal Shey Advisor armor, a remnant of his time spent with them. He modified the armor with
Mabari Armorweave, increasing its integral strength while keeping its high level of flexibility.
-Miscellaneous: Anto, out of necessity, wears a neural band reverse engineered to block Anto’s passive telepathy. With its field activated, the only thoughts Anto will receive are those he consciously accesses.
Strengths:-Exceptional Force Telepathy: Most sentient beings are nowhere near powerful enough to resist his abilities, even among Force-users he is exceptionally powerful. His inherent Anzati telepathic capabilities, which are magnified exponentially by his advanced age, were again multiplied exponentially by his Force training.
-Anzati strength and agility: Anzati have hollow bones, which decreases Anto’s weight, and make him far more agile than humans of comparable size. Anzati also have strength beyond the levels of normal humans. Anto is on par with Olympic-level athletes physically.
-Healing factor: Anzati naturally heal much faster than humans, healing broken bones in days, and while it is quite possible to mortally wound an Anzat, it is substantially more difficult than a human.
-Lack of bloodflow: Being wounded is significantly less damaging for Anto because, as an Anzat, he has no blood. Anto speculates that his cells are oxygenated transdermally. He is not weakened by blood-loss in other words. He is still vulnerable to damage to his organs, however.
Weakness:-Pyrophobia: Due to an accident early in his Sith training involving flame manipulation, Anto has an irrational fear of fire. This affects him cripplingly, he will run from flames, and if forced to be in near proximity to them, he will not be able to concentrate, and will most definitely be bested in combat.
-Hollow bones: Anto’s hollow bones are very prone to fractures, and breaks are common. Anto has at least one broken bone at any one time. Anto uses the Force to compensate for particularly crippling breaks like legs, and is used to fighting with at least one break.
-Delicate neural pathways: Another inherent quality of Anzati is the delicate nature of their nervous system. This makes Anto’s five primary senses especially sensitive, as well as making him especially sensitive to force lightning, which fries his nerves quite quickly.
-Mental overload: Anto’s telepathy is so powerful that if unchecked, the amount of information he passively recieves can be damaging. In part due to his delicate nervous system, Anto could theoretically sustain permanent brain-damage should he be exposed to prolonged periods of unfiltered mass thoughts.
-Neural Band limitations: Though Anto’s telepathy is unparallelled, its passive aspect is almost always inaccessable due to his neural band, while this protects him, he can be sneaked up on, where a less powerful telepath who didn’t limit their ability couldn’t be.
-Ectothermism: Without a functioning circulatory system, Anzati are effectively cold-blooded. This renders Anto at a distinct disadvantage in cold environments, slowing him down physically and mentally. Anto counteracts this through the use of Tapas (see below).
Lightsaber combat:Anto has extensive training in all of the classical lightsaber forms, as well as most variants of lightsabers. Over the past three centuries, Anto has focused on the mastery of combat with two standard sabers, and has concreted a style he calls Anzati Jar’kai. Anzati Jar’kai is a synthesis of Ataru, Juyo and Shien (the method of holding the lightsaber with the blade running parallel to the arm, not Form V) as well as including some aspects of
projected fighting, and has proven effective with dual sabers, one saber, and double-bladed variants (with minor modifications). It focuses on fast, unconnected strikes, designed to surprise and disorient the opponent. Anzati Jar’kai is very effective at wearing down opponents with its vicious and lightning fast movements.
Force Powers:Anto is proficient in all core Force abilities, including higher level ones. Anto is unable to use any form of Force Lightning, as he is unable to channel it through his body without doing major damage to his system.
Some rarer abilities he specializes in:

Force Telepathy: Anto’s most skilled ability. Most of his other proficiencies are subsets of this one.

Mind Trick: As a subset of telepathy, Anto is remarkably proficient in it, and all of its variants. This includes rendering himself invisible by clouding the minds of others, and masking his Force signature.

Force Comprehension: An ability which allows the user to absorb vast amounts of information in a short time by speeding up one’s neural processes.

Projected Fighting: Allows the user to use telekinesis to fight, either without physically touching or by augmenting the strength of one’s strikes. Anto augments his personal variant of Jar’kai with this technique.

Tapas: Allows its user to draw on the power of the Force to remain warm in a cold environment.

Force Meld: a form of Battle Meditiation, this technique allows the user to mentally connect with other Force users, forming a single consciousness. Anto uses this technique with his students during missions to increase coordination, as well as during training to teach them advanced techniques much faster. Anto’s masterful telepathy aids his use of this technique.

Comprehend Speech: Allows the user to understand the meaning of any form of sentient speech. Used in conjunction with Force Comprehension, this technique allows the user to learn a language remarkably quickly, becoming fluent in days.
Personality: Anto's upbringing was cruel and painful, and left him a cold, distant person. The impulsive nature of his youth has gone, and he is now a very calculating tactician, always a step or two ahead. To Anto, other people are objects, means to an end, and nothing more. Anto is quite adept at seeming however he needs to seem in order to get what he wants, though he prefers mental manipulation to any other recourse.
Bio: Anto was once a Sith, found as a child by a Sith Master living on the streets of, who recognized his potential, and knew of the reputation of the Anzati as legendary assassins. Trained by his master at the Sith Academy on Korriban, Anto discovered that his natural telepathic abillities could be amplified through the force, and became adept at the art of persuasion. One day, after his training was complete, and he was a Sith Lord, he and his master clashed over his master methods. He killed his master and left Korriban with many followers, forming the order of the Ah Zhirr.
