“hmm, where should I begin? Ah yes I know, I will tell you a story. One that my father used to tell me as a bed time story. Centuries ago, our world was an amazing place, the vast sky above was a beautiful azure blue. The oceans were clear and so mesmerizing that you could sit and watch them for hours. The people were moderately friendly, there seemed to be a balance of good and bad. But one day everything changed, the sky became cloudy and the world seemed so dark, most thought it was just going to rain, but something far worse than rain was coming. You see something was happening with our world, some said that what happened was that a hole to the underworld was opened and demons escaped. While others said it was some unexplainable phenomenon. But I know the truth, you see what really happened was that a realm much similar to ours collided with our realm and when they blended beings from the other realm were able to come into ours.

That would have been ok, if the beings of that realm were human. You see all the creatures that were once thought to be only found in works of fiction. Became real in our realm, the creatures began destroying out buildings and attacking people. It was utter madness, all the governments of our world began doing what they do best, they called upon their militaries to get rid of the creatures. But they weren’t prepared for a fight with monsters of such magnitude. Most of the soldiers were in shock, actually seeing things like demons. After only a few months the creatures had taken over most of our world. But just as things seemed most dark, a light shined down from the sky, literally. The sun broke through the dark clouds and then out of no where four people appeared where the light touched the ground. They seemed so mystical and extraordinary, these four people were able to fight against the monsters, they were able to destroy the monsters unlike our worlds military. The four were able to force the monsters to leave some areas to allow the people to rebuild their cities. The four also trained a few people to fight against the monsters incase they ever returned.

A few years passed, more cities were popping up just about every month. Things weren’t back to normal but they were getting better everyday. But when the world seemed happiest, something horrible happened a large mass of dark energy appeared, it was shaped like an egg and when the energy started to fade a man emerged from it. This man began destroying everything within his path, the monsters followed him as if he was their king. The man also began recruiting people who he thought were evil enough to be worthy of his power. His group began destroying everything, they would burn cities to the ground and capture people and force them to do labor like slaves. It was a horrible thing, but as the evil group kept traveling they found themselves fighting against more and more resistance groups. Eventually the four people who once helped push back the monsters showed themselves and they had a large following with them. There was a massive bloody battle, each side had numerous amounts of casualties. But then something amazing yet tragic happened. The four heroes gave their lives to trap the evil leader in a crystal like from. When the monsters saw this they fled, and the evil man’s followers also fled, they went into hiding hoping one day they could free their leader.

The people of our world, knew that the monsters would keep coming and they needed to protect themselves so the survivors of the bloody battle, created a school. This school would train all of its students to be strong so that one day if the monsters did try to take over again. They would be ready for war.”

Plot: ok, hopefully the intro gave you a good idea of what is going to happen. The main plot with be about the students of this school, but there will also be some side stories to keep things interesting.

Setting: the main setting will be within the school grounds, but characters will be able to go out on missions so they can get experience with actual combat. The planet is Asherra, it is like a sister planet to earth, so the landscape is pretty much the same. Except for the fact that most of Asherra has been destroyed by the monsters that plague the lands. The technology is similar except the technology on earth is just a little bit behind.

The only problem is that most of the advanced technology was lost when the creatures took over years ago. People now live in small houses or if their rich they live in large castles surrounded by large walls.

The school is a large castle, it sits on an island where it takes up the majority of the space. The castle is so large it could be considered a city. The students live on within the schools walls, the school is so large that the students can be divided into districts by year. South(freshmen), West(sophomores), East(juniors),and North(seniors).

Story info: this is just to give everyone a little info about how the Roleplay will go. You see this will be broken up into parts. Part one, will be freshmen year. Part two, sophomore.. I think you can get the pattern from this. When/ if we finish with part four, we will go on to a different part which will cleverly be called Hereafter. It will be about the characters and their lives after they graduate from the academy. This is when characters will become legendary, and have songs written about them.

Other info: this section will be about the things you will need to know to make your character. And also just some basic info you will need to know for later on.

category: the categories are the areas where your character would fit in.(Note: I will only be posting categories for freshmen, these will be changed when/if we get to other parts of the story. So if there is something you want your character to learn. It will have to wait till sophomore year or possibly beyond. )

Warrior- this category is for those who like to get close to their enemy and also for those who like to protect others.

- Lancer, weapon list: Lance, halberd, or war scythe
- Fighter, weapon list: gloves or claws

Archer- this category is for those who like to get far away from their enemy and defeat them before they can be seen.

-Hunter- weapon list: Bow, longbow or crossbow
-Gunner- weapon list: hand gun(s) or sniper rifle

Mage- this category is for those who like to fight in mid and/or long range, also those who find that using brain over brawn is better for them.

-Summoner - weapon list: Staff or wand
- Elementalist- weapon list: Staff or wand
-Illusionist - weapon list: Staff, wand or hands
- Mentalist- weapon list: Staff , wand or hands
-Transmuter- weapon list: staff, wand or hands

Priest/priestess- this category is for those who put their faith into divine beings and as they usually say allow the divine being to work through them. They are close range/long range fighters. (Note: there isn’t really one main religion on Asherra. So you can make up your own deity for your character to seek power from if you wish. Or you don’t have to mention one at all.)

-Paladin - shield, sword or two handed weapons
- Monk - hands or gloves
-Exorcist - Two handed weapons or prayer beads
-Diviner- Prayer beads

Thief- this category is for those who are sneaky, quick and coordinated. They are close range fighters.

Rouge- dagger(s) or throwing knife(s)
Dancer- daggers, chakram, Wind and fire wheel or whips
Bard - musical Instrument or dagger(s)
Assassin- Claws, needles or daggers.

Scientist- this category is for those who use science to defeat their enemies. They are close range fighters but also act as support.

Chemist- chemical explosives
Mechanic- Tool box
Doctor- Medical kit


Fighting: in this rp there will be fighting, in the beginning it will mostly be during training sessions where characters will be fighting wooden dummies. Things like that, but later on there will be missions. These missions will be done in teams of five, four students and one advisor/ guardian. The advisor will be an npc.

Races: Humans - make up the majority of the population

*half breeds (they are looked down on by humans.) Half breeds have tattoo like birthmarks over one part of their body. This is how they are recognized, when they are hiding their monster like characteristics

Winged- they are the children of winged creatures and humans. (they have wings growing from their back, but they can hide them.)

Beasts- those that were born from a mix of human and fir covered monsters. (they have fur, so to look normal they shave a lot.)

Draconic- those born from a mix of dragon and human, those mixed with and kind of reptile blood are called this as well. (they have scales and if they are part dragon, wings.)

Devatori- this is the rarest kind of half breed, a mix of demon and human. This race is rare because the demons went into hiding after there leader was crystallized. ( this race has demon wings growing from their back, they have anger issues and they have a thirst for human blood. Devatori can blend in easily, but they usually try not to get close to people.) (Devatori are the most hated, people do try and kill them when they can.)
