I quickly walked after the boy. He seemed strange, and more powerful then many. He was a brick in a wall, all alone, that if he was removed, no one would notice. I hoped to change that. I caught up with him quickly.

Adrian turned at the end of the hall in time for the persuer to catch up with him. A black mist pooled around his legs and gradually began to crawl up his body. "I don't care about what you have to say your all the same", he said still glaring. His eye's flickered back to Lolli and within them was an apology. The mist wrapped around his body leaving him intangible and then like a hole appeared in the floor he dropped down through it and disappeared. When he came out of the shadow world he sat on his bed which shifted into a sour glance at the door to him laying on his back scoping the ceiling out.

Lolli unconiously raised a hand to where he went and ran to where the hole had been. She looked down sadly before looking at Rose and Whitney sadly. She had found someone she liked and they scared him away leaving her alone again. She turned and walked down the hall pushing people slightly away out of the entrace to the schools gate.

I didn't know what to do. I had scared him away, and because of that she was leaving. I went to my room. Not the attic, but my real room. I had a wonderful room. I was alone in it. My parents had paid quite a bundle for it. The sad thing was, every thing was fire resistant, and nailed to the floor. I went over to mt piano. I started playing a song I created as I played.

Rose stood in the hall and felt abandoned. She looked around as everyone began to disperse in their seperate ways. Her head was spinning from everything that had happened so she began to walk in the direction of her room. She noticed the hole begin to close and wondered where the boy went. She sang a note that she hoped would detect the darkness. When she found her heading, she followed the feeling to a wooden door. She reached up and rapped on the door, quiet and melodic.
"I-I'm sorry," She said through the door, hoping the guy would allow her to apologize.

The shadows pulled around him dragging him down into the darkness he reappeared behind Rose his arms crossed and his face as serious as he could get. "You can't manipulate me like everyone else, we dhamphirs are on a different level then you humans, My senses can see through your game", he said glaring at her. Adrian continued staring at her an orb coming from his hand he whispered into it and sent it on its way. He hoped it would reach Lolli befor she walked out into the sunlight. He could walk in the sunlight but his powers would be gone for only in darkness could he control darkness.

Lolli had almost gotten to the exit before the orb had put itself infront of her waving a bit to get her attention. She frowned at it before she remembered who could do that in this school. It gave her his message and bit her tounge trying to think what to do. He left me suddenly by myself...But had helped me...I dont really know him though, but hes trying I guess. She decides to follow the orb letting herself trust him and the orb for the moment.

Rose shook her head quickly. "I don't mean to do this! I'm not playing a game, unlike you I have no idea what my powers are! I just keep getting letters from that St. Rudolph guy!" She stared up at him, her violet eyes wide. She then looked down at the ground, noticing how awful she looked. Her purple converse were shredded from years on the street. "I-I don't know how to act around other.." She finally admitted. It was more admitting to herself. She shook her head and thought about leaving this school. She didn't want to leave the comforts of an actual bed and she couldn't take the guitars with her. She was torn inside as she fought an internal battle. "I'm sorry."

Frowning, Rose shuffled off to her room. Her head was hung and her dark blonde hair fell forward. Her violet eyes stared at her feet as she walked to her luxorious room. She laid down on her bed and ignored the note that was on it. She stuck her head straight into the pillow and screamed. She didn't understand what was goinig on.

After a while, I was tired with that. I went to second room. This room was one that my father had built secretly. It was hidden from the common eye, but not from my familys eye. It was a library. My father had stocked it with all of the books my family owened, and we owned almost every book writen.The book I dreamed of reading was in a glass case. My father would give me the key when he thought I was ready. I grabed a book and went to my bed. I had only read a few pages when I heard a knock at the door. I went and opened it. It was one the mailmen for the school. I said thank you and took the box. It was from my mother and father. I ripped it open and in it where five things, three books, all that my father needed to own every book in the world, a key, and, from my mother, a diary.

Adrian watched her walk away and then walked to his door he pushed it open and walked in hoping that Lolli would follow, "This is it this is my room here off to the left", he said pointing to a room that was garbed in darkness. Everything was black from the curtains to the sheets that covered the bed. "The room off to the right can be yours there is a king size bed in there, a massive closet and lovely mini fridge", he muttered and then strode off into his room shutting the door lightly behind him it laid open a crack as he flopped on his bed folding his arms behind his head gazing longingly up at the black ceiling.

Lolli looked around at all the darkness letting a small smile slip out, the darkness reminded her of the woods. She slid her bag against the far side of the wall and sits upon the bed soaking in the idea of having a room. Her old house hadnt really been a home but this place, it felt like home strangely enough. She turned and looked over to Adrian a bright look about her. "Thank you so much"
