Bio:
Miyuki Kagami was born on October thirty-first at 11:11 PM. Her father, Kokoro Kagami, died three months before her birth. When she was four, her mother, Makoto Kagami, died during her sister Emi's birth. She and Emi were then sent to an orphanage. They barely had any food. The workers were cruel and cynical, so they mistreated them. There they lived out their days alone; two sisters lost in a cold world, only able to understand each other. Three years later, Emi and Miyuki's closest relatives were found.
Although they believed that the orphanage was the worst place in the world, they were proven wrong when they moved in with their aunt and uncle. Emi was often slapped or hit by Uncle Ryuu. Miyuki was forced to clean the house, cook the food, and worst of all, take out the trash, everyday. Sometimes, when she was busy with another horrid chore and couldn't tend to another task, her aunt would dump all the garbage onto her.
For three more long years, Emi and Miyuki were still misused. But one day, Ryuu became extremely angry with Emi. He took out a knife and came at her, cutting her mouth from into a Glasgow grin. For one terrible, long night, they were separated. The next day, they ran away. Wanted posters hung all over the town the next day. But they were soon found by Ryuu. They were in the woods, in hiding. He had a shotgun, coming closer to Emi just like the day he scarred her.
Ryuu shot Emi in the leg, then the chest right as they escaped. Miyuki tried to help her, but it was too late- Emi was dying. As she died, she told her to not worry. But Miyuki could feel her pain intensely. As she died, a light emitted from Emi. A radiant figure of her smiled at Miyuki, then glowed blindingly bright and overlapped with Miyuki. Instantly, Miyuki felt different. She was numb, and cold, unfeeling... Then her uncle came. She became filled with his rage, something she hadn't known before.
With a furious glint in her eyes, Miyuki came at her uncle. She hit him and scratched him, then held his throat so tightly he turned blue. Ryuu passed out soon after, and as his emotions dispersed, so did Miyuki's. She became afraid and frightened. She ran farther and faster than she could have ever imagined.
By then, Miyuki was eleven. She was taken in by an incredibly kind old man named Takumi, who understood her powers. He helped her control them and deal with Emi becoming a part of her. He soon enrolled her in Yukiko and Midori's school. She became friends with them quickly. Since she was surrounded by people who accepted her for who she was, and she would never be separated from Emi ever again.
She still lived with Takumi to this day, who has become like the father she never had. Since she and Emi are now bounded together, she has a lot of excess energy, and her empathic abilities are still progressing. As an outlet for her (and others') feelings, Takumi taught her to draw and play drums.
Personality:
Due to her empathic abilities, Miyuki's personality changes frequently with another's mood. However, she has retained her optimistic and peppy persona quite well, even though she's been just hiding behind a smile more and more recently.
