She heard a gasp and looked up. It took a few minutes to clear her blurry eyes, but when she did she noticed Dan looking down at her.
“Hm, what's up? What's wrong?” She asked, looking around for anything out of the ordinary. “Do I have something on my face?” She lifted her hand up and laid it on her cheek.
You fool, it's nothing like that. He is obviously smarter than you.A cold chill ran through her body at the cold echo of a voice in her head. You will understand some day. Until then, think about what I've given you. Don't be an idiot. Rin could feel something burning inside of her chest. Wincing, she thought of what the voice said. 'What I've given you'? You've given me nothing but a damn headache! Go away would you? She yelled in her head. Once she had been able to believe her thoughts were her own, but now? She really had no clue what was going on.
At least she got what she wanted, the voice didn't say a word. Not then at least.

Dan just shook his head. There was nothing wrong, aside from a voice in his head and the fact that he was somehow able to hold Acid without burning his own skin off. “No, nothing. Just, don't worry about it.” He gave the girl a reassuring smile, she wouldn't have to worry about his troubles. Rin probably had a few of her own to deal with.
“So, Rin. I've been thinking...” Damien began, ready to explain or share something with the girl. “I know we can stay here for quite some time. But, don't we need a plan? You know, as in find help? I can't quite put my finger on it, but I doubt help will arrive. Just a hunch.” He scratched his chin, decoding that what he said, probably was the most negative thing, ever. “Hmm, but I could always be wrong. Actually, I don't trust my hunch either, figure that...”
Hmm, Dan just shrugged. Blamed his voice for making him confused and say negative things. “Sorry, I'm just a bit fuzzy in the head as of now. More then usual anyway, haha.” Dan laughed nervously. He felt like he should tell someone about those voices in his head, but... they'd cal him a weirdo, right...?

"It's fine that your not exactly feeling normal right now. I sure as hell aren't." she mumbled, thinking back on what that womans voice had said. Dan was smarter then her, hm? Did that mean he knew something? Of course not, that would be silly. Her mind was playing tricks on her for sure. Nothing out of the ordinary. "But yeah, a plan might be smart. The thing is how to go about it... I'm sure as hell none of us knows how to fly a plane out of Japan and cars won't be the easiest thing to drive at the moment with all the debris." She sighed. "If only we could hop over rainbows or something cool like that."
Sometimes Rin wished she lived in some sort of fairy tail, where a prince come find her, riding a dragon and would sweep her off her feet. As she grew she decided that most princes were pompus and arrogant and that she would rather live with the dragon. Times like these weren't times to fantasize though, it was time to be serious. Why the world chose her, one of the least serious people in the history of least serious people, was beyond her.
Fate had it's way of tricking people and louring them into traps. Rin just didn't know if this was a trap, or if things would turn out all right.
"I don't think anyones coming for us soon either, but what else can we do? Who knows whats happening in the rest of the world? I'm telling you, I think the whole world had just turned their backs against us Japanese. Damn them." she huffed light-hearted.

Well, Rin pondering about a plan, didn't work quite too well. She wasn't the worst in coming up with ideas, but stating the obvious wasn't going to help them one bit. Of course they couldn't just fly a plane, drive a car Because Dan knew that whoever drove the mechanical beast, would ride it straight through a wall or something., and most certainly not wait it out. Although, in all honesty? It was, indeed, a shame they couldn't just walk over a rainbow. Hey, you never know if you'll find the pot of gold at the end of it, as well as peace and quiet.
Now a magical, flying carpet that would be something. And with that thought, Dan instantly turned his eyes to the carpet on the floor, in front of the back-door. Sure Dan! We'll definitely make it fly, let alone make place for everyone to sit. The boy corrected himself, his ears catching onto the sound of unamused huffing. What did Rin say? The world had turned their backs on Japan? Unlikely, though, every country was for themselves. No matter what they told or showed you in public. 'Want you to be real.' Damien pondered about that for a second. In all honesty, he would find it a relief if this was all just a bad, bad dream. No ruined towns, eruptions and people who don't know how to trust someone. But, of course, there were these things that would make him depressed. If that all ended up being a dream that is. No more freedom, houses that you can just occupy at will, (For some odd reason.) the weird voice inside his head. And, well, Dan would miss Rin... he really would. “Blame the fuzzy mind. For my weird thinking that is.”
The boy tapped on his forehead, with his right index finger. It had sorta, grown on him. Finding himself weird, because others thought he was. The fact was, Damien knew it, he knew that he would always, remain the odd one out. Still, there were those... other people, who hadn't questioned him about; How and Why. Mainly Rin though, as Dan didn't really know what Kouta thought about him.Not that someone who looks like a fox-human, would think a human is weird. From moment one, Dan had been saying, doing and belive it or not; thinking. All sorts of things, some normal, some just plain odd. And some? Well, weird of course. But Rin hadn't really aid anytihng about that. She had told Damien quite the opposite actually, the girl did not think he was weird.

Fuzzy minds. The both of them had them. Rin wasn't sure if it was for the same reason though. She was confused over what the voice in her meant. She wanted to know what the voice was exactly. The girl wanted to help Dan through whatever he was going through, but she was too hesitant to ask. Lastly, she wanted to show Dan what would happen when she touched water, but she had a feeling he would be freaked out.

"Well, I couldn't even think about forgeting you. Your the man who led me to safety, has stuck with me even though I'm odd and hell, I could never forget how aweful you are at peeling oranges." She laughed down at Damien. "And hey, if you want, I can always give you another hit to the head to make you remember me some more." Sarcasm was always fun to use around the male because she knew he could back it up if he so wanted.
