Introduction
The year is 1845, my friend, and I fear for the worst. As winter grows closer, the days grow shorter... as does my luck. Morgan and I fought the day before it happened. It was a petty thing, simply over the matter of the man she is to marry, and yet it broke her heart into frosted little pieces. (On a side note, I knew she had no love for any of us, and that her heart was a frozen piece of hell - but nonetheless, her reaction to the matter was quite unexpected). She left a letter to her husband-to-be, explaining what I had done (which, truth be told, was nothing more than informing her that her husband seemed to be growing quite fond of frequenting gambling dens and drinking), and killed herself.
Now, doesn't that seem like the story should end there? A perfect little loss, a husband fallen back, and a friend walking farther down her own path. I dealt with what I had to; a reputation tarnished for the current season, but I kept going. That was no problem to me.
A year ago, I found out some new information - I believe she was not murdered. Who has murdered her, however, does not strike me as something easily found... I have reached out to find some help. The Duke of Windsor has been reputed to be a good deal smarter than the average man, and able to follow trails that most cannot see.
He seems to be able to help me. I have written my letter to him, and sent it out - whether he will reply or not will determine the future course. If he chooses not to... Well, I'll have to find my own way, won't I?
A good night to you, my dear journal. The one who listens to all my problems. (Just between you and me, the Duke has a strong reputation for being quite handsome! Maybe I'll find out.)
Rosetta feels lost within her own walls. Every day she steps out of her house, she sees the encroaching frost, and she questions what has happened to her and what purpose it held. Her own house is abandoned to her and her servants; she has no interest in men, as of the moment, and she enjoys a life on her own with a wealthy inheritance left to her from her parents.
It isn't until she learns of Morgan's diary that she suspects something happened. She hasn't been able to find it; but asking her husband if she could see it, and receiving a denial made her question the matter further. Was Morgan alone in her death? Or did someone help her to do this?
She knows the Duke of Windsor has no reason to help her, but her best goal is to find someone who can. And starting at the top is her only choice, if all she has to offer is money - but deep in her heart, she knows that he'll help her find what happened.

My bad.. Im also working on another role play characters. I can't mutlitask if I want them to turn out perfect. But I will work on the characters for this role play tomorrow, and hopefully have them ready to post in by like late sunday or early monday.
Re: Far From The Watching Eyes
@ Maddie - That might actually be really helpful, depending on how this goes down. :3 I like the sound of that! It's definitely alright with me. And whether you want them to be a side-street business or friends with Rosetta, that's definitely up to you!
It doesn't sound stupid, though. So it's all good :P
Re: Far From The Watching Eyes
Could I possibly make two characters that are like old age assassins/hit man type of people. But for the good side. One female and one male, tragic history made them go down the path of violence, but managed to be for the good guys, in this case for the main female character here. Maybe Rosetta doesn't get the help she's looking for so she finds these two strangers and offers them a job or possibly they are friends of her?
Sounded exciting in my head, maybe that's not exactly exciting for a role play like this.

Each person has a unique aspect, though, and some characters will know who killed (or who didn't kill) Morgan. And then some just need to know what choices they have open, whether or not they're going to help, all the sorts. :3
Re: Far From The Watching Eyes
I'd love to steal "Lady 2" away from you, if that is alright. ^^
I will message you as soon as you are done with Pusheen and as soon as I know my reservation is allowed by you, darlin'! :D
