Sam's hair is a always a mess. He never understood the point in painstakingly combing and styling it every morning. There were other things he would rather do with those precious early morning minutes. Namely sleep. He has a modest height and build and dresses plainly. He's attractive but in the quirkiest of ways. He looks like what he is, an unassuming, shy nerdy teenager.

Average. Average is a perhaps the most accurate way to describe Samuel David August. Average grades. Average height. Average looks. He excels at one thing. Counter Strike! Sam is perhaps the best Counter Strike: Global Offensive player in the entire state. But as much as Sam love's "fragging noobs" online, he's always wished for something more. Every single day is the exact same. Get up early. Go to school. Zone out in class. Sit at the loser table at lunch. Come home. Make dinner. Go online. Play. Go to sleep. The monotonous routine of day to day life bored him. But he was too afraid to try anything different. The world outside of the little bubble he had forged for himself was, at its best intimidating and at it's worst deadly. At least for his self esteem.
A bit of a loner, his best friend is his dog, Charles Xavier. He's had his dog since fifth grade and and they spend as much time together as they can. The only time that Sam likes being outside is when he's walking or playing with Charlie.
