The City Of Tenzo

Tenzo is a large metropolis surrounded by lush green forests. At the center of this city is a rather large building which stands roughly Twenty Stories high and is about a mile and a half wide. The walls are made from a reflective glass which allow people to see out but not in. This entire building is home to a plethora of businesses. This area is filled with clothes, shoes, electronics, and misc. other stores, as well as a couple movie theaters. Civilians are only allowed access to the first 5 floors, past that a key card is required in order to reach the rest of them. The upper floors are home to the cities government officials (i.e. mayor, judges, etc.) special elevators are taken to get to these floors with security detail guarding them 24/7. This building rises above all others, the others surrounding it normally staying around 8 stories. The surrounding buildings are not exactly up to par with the "Capital Building", or the "Glass Castle" as some put it. The surrounding homes and businesses are made of brick and are, for the most part, square and rectangular in design. The buildings are close together to the point you'd be taking a chance trying to fit a car in between them, though wide enough for people to walk through without a problem. All of the commercial buildings are somehow connected (normally through a walkway) from their higher floors. These walkways are normally made of the same brick as the one further north, lined with steel railing so you won't be taking a fall anytime soon. Pipe lines run through the city from all different directions, each carrying something different like water or natural gas, each of which are quite easy to get on if you're on the roof of a three story building. There are main roads which outline each individual block, each leading to the Capital Building and running around it, to the other roads which lead out of city walls and out into the roads which wind through the forests and to other cities (the closest one being 45 minutes away by vehicle). This city is home to one of the top universities in the world, and a few reputable grade schools to boot. All native born can take classes for free if they so choose to attend, school past the grade of 10th is not required, two year trade schools opening up at that point.


The Hunting Camp

By taking the South road out of the city you will find yourself traveling toward a decent sized hunting camp used by the people of Tenzo for Recreation and Sport. Around this are there is a minority of hunters which farm the land, some of which actually live out there year round. There are no permanent buildings in this area, more like small cabins and shacks thrown together by the people who have been here for quite some time. Just like in the old days, there are a number of people who come to the hunters and buy things like fresh meat and skins, more-so meat than skins (normally consumed by tailors or tanners). These hunters use modern day tools to harvest animals off the land, i.e. guns, compound bows, cross bows, etc. Most if not all of the people who have shelters on this land have been there for generations and generations, potentially before this city was even built. There have been reports from the people of this camp that some odd people have been coming up from the woods and walking around, more so at night than during the day. This has been given very little attention though, what could they harm?



=Current Situation-

More and more reports of odd people walking around the city (more than usual at least) have been flooding the phone lines of the local police department. Crime rates have slowly escalated, and on top of that, people have slowly been reported missing. The force is stumped as to what has caused this, though they have a faint idea looming around in the back of their minds. Not too long ago a man by the name of Sebastien Galaeo created a following of Cult worshipers, filling their heads with supposed lies of a higher being and of powers granted to those who followed him... her... Well, it. After being arrested multiple times for destruction of property and various other crimes, he was kicked out of the city and thrown out into the forests. His followers, needless to say, stuck with him and ventured out into the surrounding wilderness. Lately people who have left the city through the north gate have, upon occasion, come up missing, never to be heard from again. Their vehicles have been found, though haven't been tampered with or damaged in any way shape or form. There could only be one explanation for the disappearances, though people don't want to accept that as even a possibility. As of late there have been odd noises come from the forests, though seemingly of an animal, have people kind of on edge about leaving the city at all. No one's really sure as to what's going on right now... But no one's thinking lightly of it.

At this point I would like to state that this RP would be taking place in a time period similar to our own. Tech is the spitting image of ours in this RP as well as weapons and the like. Hopefully you understood that when I said something about a movie theater but that's easily blurred if you're speed reading.

I'm pretty crappy as fleshing out the environment or the plot at this point. I'll be honest and say 99.999% of this is based off dreams I've had in the past two weeks (ya, go figure).
