Two ethereal feathered wings protrude through her back.
Personality: A clever, compassionate soul with a penchant for games - she even knows some ancient ones. She may disguise in good fun, or to escape danger (especially when her PTSD-induced fear comes in). She also has a soft spot for animals.
History: When young, Kaia was kidnapped from her home in Nebraska by the Pendenza gang in their human trafficking business. She eventually refused to give into them - a defiance that triggered her innate Zoiskar powers. The sudden burst of so much power not only mutated her permanently with ethereal wings, but it completely destroyed the vehicle and the gangsters operating it. This happened just outside Santa Vida - she was found by Sister Ingrid, a nun of Four-Beacons Sanctum, and raised by her since. Ingrid has helped Kaia maintain control of her otherwise-chaotic occult powers.
Equipment: Just Mr. Buttons, her doll, which acts as her channel. He moves as if he has come to life.
Abilities: As an Ocean Zoiskar, Kaia can use occults of Water, Ice, Mind, and Moon. That said, she can manipulate water with ease. She's strong enough to warp reality (to an extent), creating all sorts of bizarre attacks. Another innate power of hers is disguising herself as another being. She can't use any of her occult powers while disguised. But her strangest ability yet is her innate connection to spirit creatures, or fairies. She can call upon various kinds of fairies with enough focus, like the many-armed Hecaton, the soaring Harpy, the blocking Nurikabe, the surprise serpent Grootslang, and the screeching Mandragora.
Other: She's very vulnerable to anything that's toxic. Any poison will be more painful to her - a large quantity will dissolve her watery flesh and kill her.

- Bubble Burst: Water occult that summons a water bomb in front. Its sudden appearance is the kicker.
- Wavedash: Water occult that rushes forth in a cloak of water. The wave protects her from most attacks.
- River Chase: Water occult that directs a stream of water through the air, striking multiple times.
- Cold Stake: Ice occult that summons a giant spire of ice in front. Appears swiftly.
- Ice Wall: Ice occult that creates a wall of ice in front. Obviously good at protecting against most attacks.
- Tricicle: Ice occult that creates three icicle missiles that wait in midair and strike at incoming foes.
- Mind Tricks: Mind occult that summons an orb of psychokinetic energy above the foe and bombs him/her/it with it.
- Warp Out: Mind occult that teleports Kaia.
- Psycho Blast: Mind occult in which Kaia charges up and throws a zigzagging orb of psychokinetic energy at the foe.
- Crescent Beam: Moon occult that directs crosshairs forth, then fires a beam of lunar energy down upon it.
- Lunar Trance: Moon occult that hypnotizes affected foes into falling asleep.
- Ecliptic: Moon occult that casts a strange shadow over a wide area. Foes in it become slowed and prone to self-detrimental actions.
- Cascade: Water occult made up while with Dilan Evans. A wall of water that moves toward foes. Good for advancing guards.
- Snow Blade: Ice occult invented while with Vince Quadrin. Enters a run while flanked by swords of winter winds.
- Octo-Guard: Mind occult cooked up while with Lana Springs. Surrounds self with eight charm orbs that will each take a hit for her.
- Warp Link: Moon occult devised while with Matt Arodyn. Teleports a distance, leaving a trail of disruption between the two points.
- Aqua Crusher: A mighty water occult. Creates an orb of water in front to trap foes, then makes it explode.
- Flash Freeze: A mighty ice occult. Everything around her is engulfed in ice.
- Buttons Buster: A mighty mind occult. Enlarges Mr. Buttons into a titan, who then razes the area in front with eye lasers.
- Moon Eater: A mighty moon occult. Transforms her arm into a large spectral coyote head, which reaches forth with its maw. Swallows incoming energy before snapping its jaws on some unlucky foe.

- Kaia is a Greek name meaning "pure", but is also a Hawaiian name meaning "the sea". It also differs from Gaia by one letter. That said, her last name comes from "terra", a term meaning "earth".
- Coyote is a Native American deity known for his mischief and cunning. True, Coyote was reported as a male, but being a trickster, is there a chance that the gender was a lie...?
- The Coyote in the UMS-verse was reincarnated from Anupet, the wife of Anubis in ancient Egypt. This is justified in that jackals and coyotes are closely related.
- The Moon element is related to the Water element in that Earth's moon affects the oceans with its gravitational tug.
- Her Wavedash occult is indeed named for a common trick in fighting games that involves repeatedly dashing from a crouch or diagonally air-dashing into the ground. However, her Wavedash does damage.
- Her weakness to poisons could be similar to Captain Planet's weakness to pollutants.
