KING ARAQIEL D'HJERTE -Urban Legends-
Battlerock Galaxy - Super Mario Galaxy
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Specie: Star dragon
Physical Description: An 8-foot-tall bipedal dragon with indigo/pale-yellow skin and spiky blond hair. He wears a banner-affixed belt with thigh guards, greaves, gauntlets, white gloves, a cravat, and a large dark-colored cloak with gold lining. The inside of the cloak holds a moving array of stars.
Personality: Righteous and forward-thinking. He puts his people first, and would give his life to protect them if he has to. He's always been close with his daughter, even moreso after the tragedy that befell his wife. He seems to disapprove of Jagger getting too close to Chaperon...for the safety of them both.
History: An egg fell from the heavens like a shooting star, and was discovered by Blitzerph's current queen. The dragon that hatched from this egg was dubbed Araqiel and adopted by the royal family, tutored in the ways of a fair ruler. As he grew up, he made several friends in Blitzerph, and found a wife in the Legend Trial champion Platinum, and in time they had a daughter, Chaperon. Many years later, though, a tragedy befell Queen Platinum, ending her life and leaving more than heartache on Araqiel. When Chaperon was old enough to govern Blitzerph, he took a leave of absence to reflect on these events and more. Since he's now returned to Blitzerph, he must have found the answer he sought...
Equipment: His only weapon, per se, is his Cloak of Nyx, said to have been trimmed and made from the fabric of space itself. In any case, it couples with his spatial powers, creating greater effects. It even melds its shape to form large space-rending claws.
Abilities: He wields passive control over the element of space, mainly over gravity. He can manifest spatial energy into star-shaped constructs, which he launches at foes.
Other: There's something strange about that scar on his chest...
Specific Moves
- Milky Way: Summons star-shaped projectiles. Can either send them downward in a diagonal rain, or launch them straight forward in a wave.
- Starlight Beam: Launches a beam of spatial energy upward, which rains down onto the foe soon after.
- Orion's Belt: Swings an energy-cloaked fist around in a clothesline punch. Will levitate forward or backward from it.
- Spica: Creates a stellar orb in front. Can strike it at foes if desired.
- Grav-Shove: Uses gravity control to push foes away from himself.
- Grav-Vacuum: Uses gravity control to draw foes closer to himself.
- Grav-Suspension: Uses gravity control to hold a foe in midair, helpless.
- Grav-Slam: Uses gravity control to bring midair foes to the ground in a hard slam.
- Nyx Apparation: Shrouds himself in the Cloak of Nyx and vanishes, reappearing a fair distance forward.
- Event Horizon: Tries to draw a foe in with gravity, then crushes them in a spiral of stellar energy.
- Cosmic Curtains: A Trance ability that creates a spatial veil, blocking foes off from the outside. It even prevents teleportation out of the arena.
- Grav-Core: A Trance ability that creates a strong gravitational focus. Draws the foe closer to its center of gravity.
- Gravity Addition: A Trance ability that augments foes' gravitational pull. This makes them heavier, increasing their impact with others or on surfaces.
- Gravity Reduction: A Trance ability that augments foes' gravitational pull. This makes them lighter, prolonging midair suspension and making them easier to push them around with gravity powers.
- Orion's Arrow: (Style Lore) Rushes forth in a spearheaded tackle. If he hits the foe, he'll deliver two more strikes, the last one being the most powerful.
- Grav-Compaction: (Style Lore) Strikes the foe upward, then uses gravity control to send them plummeting back down like a meteor. Damage is more severe on more massive foes.
- Meganova: (Style Lore) Surrounds self in a sphere of cosmic energy, damaging foes near him.
- Blitzerph Galaxy: (Legend Lore) Rises upward, surrounded in a disc of gravitational pull. He then blasts caught foes away in a stellar burst.
- The Big Bang: (Final Lore) Extends from Event Horizon's grab to trap the foe in a stellar orb, which then explodes with great force.

Trivia
- In the Book of Enoch, Araqiel was one of the 20 Watchers, or Grigori, the leaders of what would eventually be the fallen angels. He supposedly taught astrology and the signs of the earth.
- His behavior is sort of a play of a guardian dragon with the princess, in the light of a watchful father.
- Nyx is the Greek goddess of the night. She is also the mother of Nemesis, which was the feminine version of Alastor.
- The five spines on his head form a star shape.
- The move Orion's Belt refers not only to a part of the constellation Orion, but also to a waist-high punch. Likewise, Orion's Arrow is a nod to the fact that Orion wields a bow.
- Grav-Suspension operates much like the Zero Gravity spell in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance.
