Why were you placed into the Asylum? "Because I attacked my pack. Rule # 1 of being a werewolf. Don't attack your fucking pack!"
Rico has always been an angry man, but eventually he cracked too much and almost slaughtered half his pack single-handedly. He was almost killed for this offense until his sister announced that he was mentally ill, thus getting him sent to the asylum.

Intermittent explosive disorder (IED) is a behavioral disorder characterized by extreme expressions of anger, often to the point of uncontrollable rage, that are disproportionate to the situation at hand. Impulsive aggression is unpremeditated, and is defined by a disproportionate reaction to any provocation, real or perceived. Some individuals have reported effective changes prior to an outburst (e.g., tension, mood changes, energy changes, etc.).

What race do you think could have caused you to become ill? "Uh... My own?"
It is assumed that the stress of trying to run his pack alone stressed him out way too much.
What power do you have left? "I actually don't have much left. All I have are my anger issues and enhanced senses. I can smell meat or blood from pretty much a mile away and I see almost perfectly in the dark. Also add the fact that my hearing can pinpoint where you are at how far away within seconds."
What do you miss most about being in your true form? "I miss being able to run free. I adore the feel of the land under my paws as I dash between trees."

Personality: Rico will speak his mind in any situation. He grew up used to being listened too and expects nothing less. He's always been an angry person on the outside but if you dig a bit he's actually a scared puppy. He doesn't trust easily because he's scared he'll freak out and attack someone he cares dearly for.
He acts as if he's looking down on you, but all he's really doing is trying to figure you out. Once you know person's bad points, then you can match the good points. He's not hateful of people, he actually quite likes them. He did live in a pack after all. You can tell if he trusts you by if he allows himself to fall asleep around you.
Though like this, he still has his disorder. The slightest of things can piss him off and cause him to attack you. He doesn't want to, his body just moves its own accord. Sometimes he doesn't attack though. He'll just get a very painful headache which can actually cause him to collapse on the ground.
History: Jerico was born into a litter of five born on the night of a full moon, him being the 3rd eldest. His father liked him the most growing up so everyone believed that he was going to become the king when his father died. He was taught all the ways of being a great leader. But because of this, it was usually all work, no play. Usually a king doesn't chose an heir until all of their kids are fully grown. That's where his father made the mistake. Because he never got any "play" time, Rico was under a lot of stress. He would start to get frequent headaches that would get worse on the night of a full moon. His attacks on animals and when he'd be play fighting with his friends would become more violent and harsh. People only realized the signs too late.
One night, on the night of a full moon, Rico could not get his mind to move the way he wished. if he wanted to stop, his body would press on further. It was that night, he killed almost half his pack until someone knocked him out. When he woke up, he was chained naked to the ground with an angry pack around him. He instantly knew what he did and couldn't help but start crying from the terrible things he did. He tried to explain he had no control over himself. They were going to kill him, but this proved difficult since he was still a prince after all. He stayed there with no food or water for three days until his pack reached a conclusion. He was to be sent to an asylum to hopefully be fixed. That... And he was no longer allowed to ever become king. All of his life's work, was just thrown away. It wasn't long after until he realized he could no longer shift into his wolf form. But for some reason he kept his enhanced senses.
