Abilities: Excellent tracking abilities, very stealthy.
Weaknesses: Cannot swim. Doesn't have a home to go back to in between semesters.
*
Personality: He's pretty smart but more street smart. He's athletic and social, and cannot stand being ignored or alone. He's surprisingly dependent on the people around him but he doesn't love easily. He keeps his heart guarded to protect himself and therefore, doesn't talk about his past much or about anything more than what's on the surface. Otherwise he gets uncomfortable. He's very one-track-minded and doesn't like when things don't go according to his plan.
Dislikes: Being ignored, snakes, snooty fru-fru "I've got it all under control" kinds of people, the rich and famous, computers.
Fears: Thunderstorms. Breaking an arm or leg in football.
History: He was born in the slums of the city. He's got connections with one of the gangs in the cities but he keeps it to himself unless otherwise necessary. He was raised by a single mom, so things were really difficult for a while. In high school he turned out to be really good at sports, and he's now at the college on a full football scholarship. He's delta of his pack because of the time and effort he put into being out in those woods, even when going outside could mean getting shot at. He's currently living in the college dorms and often has to sneak in and out after hours for the sake of the pack.

Derrick repeatedly tapped the eraser of his pencil on the desk and took another glance at the clock. 3:14. He looked away and sighed exasperatedly, folding over onto the desk until his chin rested on his hands. The voice of the teacher was just so monotone... he never put any enthusiasm into anything he said. How the hell was he supposed to pay attention?
His mind wandered to the woods. Just last night he'd been standing on four legs, howling at the moon. He'd been patrolling as usual when he came across a damsel in distress on the streets on his side of the hood. He snarled and snapped his teeth until the man who was trying to assault her finally backed off. It was the most exciting thing that had happened in a while lately with all the patrol duties he'd been piled under. It satisfied him to see the man retreat and run down an alley way. He gave the woman one "be careful" look before lowering his ears and darting off into the woods again.
