*Name: Enna Tallulah Magus
*Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be 24, actually, well...she's sort of forgotten herself.
*Species: Elven.
*Oress: Maiex
Originally From: Elifie City, capital city of Daren, on the planet U'dress. Exact galatic co-ordinates unknown.
*Alliance: N/A
Appearance: Before arriving in this place, Enna wasn't exactly what you would call kempt. In fact, she was one of the most unkempt people around. Rather pretty however underneath the dirt and tattered clothing. Her height is around 5'8", her eyes are a bog standard dark blue. Her hair is kept short and messy and is naturally white. Teeth are standard for one of her race, sharper than an average humans. Her nose is slightly crooked after a fight in her youth. Always has her top hat, black lace fingerless gloves and a pink cabaret jacket and shorts. Her only piercing is her ears, the diamond studs she wears are screamingly fake and she wears one ring on the third finger of her right hand. Try to take it and she'll bite your hand off. Seriously.
*First Impressions: Enna's first impression of this place? Holy crap, I'm sleeping in a bed! I must've scored big last night!
Likes: Magic, bunny rabbits, pink, strawberries (lutbery in her language) scamming people out of their hard earned cash, street performing.
Dislikes: Cheapskates who watch the act then don't give you anything, foxes (terrified of them) sleeping on the street.
Fears: Foxes. That creepy guy who lives in the large box down the alley and is always looking at her funny. Silence, lonliness.
History: Enna's life started out normally. Daughter to a respectible pair of middle class curse blockers, as an only child she never wanted for anything. Went to a good school, had a good education and set out into the world with a reasonably good start, no dark traumas happening to her as a child at all. After striking it out on her own for a while, she landed a good, well paying job as a spell writer and met a man, Kenrit. Kenrit's upbringing was, shall we say, a mirror of Enna's. He seemed to have a vortex of misfortune around him and it had sucked Enna in. Before Enna knew where she was, she was out of a job, behind on payments for everything she owned and fighting off debt collectors with a chair and a whip. Then, to top it all off, Kenrit left her, taking his vortex with him to destroy some other woman's life. But it was too late for Enna. Depressed, she retreated to the bottom of a bottle, finding solace in a book of magic tricks. She kept the book when they evicted her and took everything else. Living on the streets of Elifie, she began performing the tricks she'd taught herself and became a street performer. It didn't earn her much, but it kept her fed and most importantly, kept her mind busy and her spirits up.
RP Sample: "Madam if you could just pop your card back in the pile, don't let me see it!! You'll ruin the trick!"
A hand with bitten down and filthy fingernails clad in a lace fingerless glove held out a fan of cards as the well dressed business woman slid her card back in with it's bretheren. The street magician folded the cards back into a neat deck and then proceeded to shuffle them without looking, her blue eyes focused on the small crowd stood before her, watching with interest.
"Now, I reiterate once again, we've never met before have we madam?"
"N...no, never met before."
"Of course we haven't, you're a successful business woman and I am a street bum. Now watch carefully ladies and gentlemen, don't blink!"
She tossed the cards in a perfectly straight line from one hand to the other, running them up one sleeve of her pink, once sparkly but now rather dull, cabaret jacket and out the other. She began tossing cards down to the ground where they exploded with a slight puff of smoke, causing a few people in the audience to giggle. All of a sudden, the street perfomer stopped on a card and turned it over showing it to the woman and the crowd. It was the Ace of Hearts and across the middle, right where she had been told to sign it, was the business woman's signature in black ink.
"Your card I believe?"
The crowd applauded as the business woman took the card and the performer took a bow.
"Thank you, thank you, you've been a wonderful audience. My name is Enna, and I'm here all week. In fact, I'm here all the time, since technically we're in my front room."
The crowd began to disperse as Enna wandered over to where her pink top hat sat on the ground, the hole inviting people to chuck in any spare coinage. Tipping the contents into her hand, she retreated back to her doorstep and sat down on her blanket. Well, a few more shows like that and she'd be eating tonight!
