Michael's visual appearance has differed thousands of times since his creation, due to various calls to arms around the world that God Himself deemed necessary for Michael's intervention or direct influence. He can appear anywhere, anytime, in any appearance he wishes; in his time, he has become tired elderly men, an Asian railroad worker, and dreams and whispers ranging from the fanatical Southern ideology of John Wilkes Booth to Joan of Arc's visions of military conquest. For 'The Big Event', which has been carefully tracked and estimated to begin on the eastern seaboard of America, he has chosen to appear as the most standard-issue American he can think of, with a little boost in size to give himself a physical advantage.

If he was a mortal man, he would be a drunk, no doubt about it. He loves alcohol; it is the only thing in the mortal world that he cares about besides food and guns.
FEARS
Making waste of all holy effort in repulsing Hell, and even worse, seeing Earth burn.

German beer. Nothing tastes better in the history of the world, except for Irish beer. He occasionally indulges in upscale peasant cuisine in pubs, corner shops, and opium dens.

Not much. As an archangel, he is blessed with almost infinite amounts of patience and wisdom, although the 'downstairs evil' occasionally pinches his nerves.
PERSONALITY
He is the original stereotype of the heroic leader that does not flinch nor falter nor fail. He has been around long enough to know exactly what to expect of Earthly opponents and other-worldly demons, although the latter seem to at least be trying to stay one step ahead of him. His purpose in existence is to protect and serve all of God's creatures, including the other angels, and as the unofficial patron saint of war (although St. George disagrees). He is a creature of little to no personal want, need, or desire, save for an occasional meal in the local Chinatown or curry-server. He has an avid love of food prepared by what is considered to be the 'peasant' class, as they make the most delicious dishes with the least or cheapest of ingredients. To put it shortly, Michael prefers a big plate of haggis over spotted dick, considered a delicacy among the upper class of English nobles.

It is a stone-handled, Damascus-fired, God-ordained piece of steel that will not bend, break, chip, stain, or rust. However, with the rising tide of machined technology and the massive amounts of casualties inflicted in the mortal Great War, Michael has taken to carrying more firearms than usual in his arsenal. Currently, he is a fan of all autoloading firearms, which is a relatively new concept, and he stands in possession of a Remington Model 8, an engraved 1911 pistol, a Browning Auto-5 shotgun, and the formidable Thompson submachine gun.

Michael's first known appearance to the human world appeared to the prophet Daniel as a message from God, informing him of the role Michael would play during the "time of the End" when there will be "distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations" and that: “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise." Since then, Michael prepared himself for the event as recorded in the Book of Revelations by involving himself directly and indirectly in the violence that transpired on Earth between men. He learned much about warfare through the countless conflicts that erupted in the thousands of years following Satan's uprising. Now, with warnings that the "time of the End" is pressing upon them, he must step up to the plate and endure the role he was created to play.
