"Life isn't just skipping through the woods."
Mary is a hard worker who is never one to complain about a situation. She often carries a feminist personality and sticks up for herself often. She can be fun when given the chance and quite the workaholic. Often times she forget that she is just one person and can't do everything by herself all the time. She has four jobs, taking care of grandma, school, a cashier at a grocery store, and a waitress at a bar. It's tough, but with the hours Mary does her homework during her breaks and lunches... or whenever she has time. She has a small amount of friends and drives the boys away, often picky about personality and is not a fan of drugs.
Watch out for the back pack full of books! Oh and she carries a gun to, however she is afraid to use it.
While her mother was pregnant, her father was one who would leave days on end and return whoever knows when. When her mother gave birth to her however, her father left the day after and never returned. If he's alive or dead, who knows... but it severely devastated her mother. She needed to numb the senses.
Heroin was her mother's escape, and she did it right in front of Mary. Why was she named Mary? After Mary Jane, another street name for a drug. Ironically her name. To make ends meet, her mother started up prostituting herself on street corners, however money came and went when she bought her miracle drug. However, at the age of 11 and many hellish years of a deadbeat mom who never was herself, she was found dead on a street corner and bleeding from the head. Since it was downtown New York and there was nowhere to put her... she left her there rotting in the street and decided that she wanted to leave.
However, the same week she saw on a milk carton a picture of herself and let curiosity get a hold of her. Long story short, the person who put up the search on the milk carton was her grandmother, worried about her only grand daughter. Grandma May was a great role model and encouraged her to be the best person she could be. Things were short when she started to get Alzheimers, and it was time for a better life... at least before she died. So now at the age of ninteen and a few years now she has been pulling this hectic lifestyle to make ends meet, the proper way with her own dignity..
