Erik smiled and rubbed his neck as the man released his hold and took the gold, stating that he would make a pie. "Ah, good," he said, clapping his hands together. "Glad to see my gold's not going to waste." He laughed, then gave a more serious look. "I do apologize for breaking in, I just couldn't resist the temptation of a plausible pie and plundering prank. I sometimes forget my manners."

As the two males walked back toward the diner, Erik realized something. "Ah! Speaking of which, I haven't even introduced myself. I'm Erik Shade; tinkerer, adventurer, and jack-of-all-trades." He polietly extended his hand to the large man next to him.

Brock this time used his organic hand. It was twice as strong as his artificial one.

"Brock Sulfar. War Vet."

Tala closed the door behind her and passed Goliath. "My room is upstairs." she pointed to a set of double doors that you could see from the entrance way. "Other than that, you may have any empty room that pleases you."

Erik smiled as Brock clasped his hand in a manly handshake, and got a surprise at the man's natural strength. As Brock released his hand, Erik shook his head. "For shame! You're nearly twice as strong as that metal arm you got there!" He smiled. "While I could offer you a chance to make your arms even in strength, I'm sure that piece of metal has a lot of sentimental value to you."

As the two walked inside, Erik carried on in friendly conversation, as if the man had never tried to strangle him. "So, war vet, huh? You must have an abundance of stories, I'm sure." He sat down on the stool with his jacket on it, putting his elbows on the bar-like table and setting his chin in his hands. He was about to ask a question, but was interrupted by ringing noise.

"Excuse me," he said, turning around and pulling out a wireless earpiece from his jacket pocket, putting the device in his ear.

"Hello? Who's this?" Erik was silent for a moment. "Ah, Trogdor! How are you, my main Suarian?" He listened for a moment. "Yes, yes, I know. You can rest assured, I have it." Silence. "I know I'm a day late, bite me." Gap of speech. "That was a joke. Don't literally bite me. That would hurt. Say, why don't you come pick it up? I'm in Sector SQ31F, at a little place called the Quantum Diner. Sound good? Alright. Got another call anyway. See you then."

The pressed a button on the earpiece, switching calls.

"Hello?" Erik listened, then lit up. "Oh, hey Mom! How are you doing?" He listened as his face fell as if guilty. "I know, Mom, I know. I swear I'll make it up to Cousin Tank." He lit up again. "Oh, Kat's doing fine. After this delivery, I'm going back." Silence. "Alright, I will. Talk to you later." Erik's face fell again. "Aw, Mom, c'mon, I'm in public." He listened and sighed. "Okay, okay...I-" He looked behind him, then got a little softer with his voice. "-I love you too. Bye!"

He pressed the button again and put away the device. "Sorry about that," he said to Brock. He then eyed a broken-down service bot. He motioned to it. "One of your workers broken down?" He gave a small laugh, then put his hands before him, folded like a businessman's. "Would you care to have it fixed?"

Goliath found a spare room so he could be out of the way for the night. One of the walls was literally covered with countless wanted posters. Most of the faces on the posters were crossed over with a pen. Was Tala running out of bounties to hunt?

Plucking a particularly eye-catching poster off the wall, Goliath inspected it carefully. The man in question was known as Erik Shade, wanted for numerous counts of smuggling contraband of all kinds. The bounty wasn't something to be sniffed at, either. With this in mind, the robot stashed the poster in the compartment in his arm like he did with the money before switching to standby mode, still standing in the middle of the room.

Brock shrugged. "It's got a couple built in features. Had to give up strength for it."

The manager of the restaurant watched in confusion at the calls....Although it sounded almost as if he knew this 'Trogdor.'

(TROGDOOOOOOORRRR!!!!!)

"What I need is a whole new Robot, better than this one, and maybe free the trapped A.I. Chip"

A gleam came to Erik's eye. "Is that a challenge?"

Without waiting for an answer, Erik went the robot and opened it up the, examining the damage. Thinking for a moment, he scoffed and declared "Piece of cake."

He went outside to his ship, returning with a red toolbox and a bin-full of random computer chips and other parts. He procceeded to gut the machine, examining each part. "Hmm," he spoke, mostly to himself, "I see."

"Luckily, the body's fine. It's a brand-new internal system you need." He opened up the tool case, grabbing an electro-wielder, then dug up some of the chips, and began to work.

Tala went up to her room taking note of where Goliath was as she did so. She didn't sleep, just simply stood at a window with her arms crossed. She hoped that work would pick up soon, then she wouldn't have to worry about money so much.
