“Get off.” He ordered darkly before he started to buck and shake. He didn't want to kill him yet. Things were just starting to get fun. He stopped after a while and simply stared ahead. His fun gone. “Why do hunt your own kind?” He asked as he laid down with a loud thud and slowly began to roll onto his back. He figured that if this guy was smart then he would move. Once on his back he quickly rolled back onto his feet to protect his belly and looked for the hybrid. He wanted to satisfy this curiosity.
After a couple of minutes the Dragon stopped which honestly for Renatus was more intimidating then the roars, the fire and the death silence was unpredictable you didn't know what you were going to get, and that aspect infuriated him to no ends. "Why do you hunt your own kind?" the Dragon asked as it began to lie down and roll onto its back, Renatus surprised at this blinked owlishly before realising it'd probably be best to let go before being crushed. He hopped off landing rather awkwardly, the Dragon once on its back rolled back onto his feet in a defensive stance, its eyes looking for him.
Renatus didn't know how to respond usually a Dragon would yell at him telling him how much of an abomination he was, while trying to kill him of course but a genuine question? The Dragon even compared itself to be kiin to Renatus which surprised him even further. Renatus blew a puff of fire into the air, not directly at the Dragon but to get its attention "I'm an abomination am I not?" Renatus spoke in a slightly mocking manner, "Isn't that what an abomination does?" he was curious about this Dragon, but he was being cautious, "better safe than sorry" his mother used to tell him.
“Defending yourself, perhaps...” He turned his head to the side, “Yes, defending yourself and territory makes sense.” His mouth twitched as he thought back to when the hybrid shot down the other dragon and tried to force it to fight. “But, you instigated a fight with a fire breather who obviously wanted to be peaceful.”
Loz lowered his head and stretched out his neck so that he was as close to the hybrid as he could be without being tempted to eat him. “Tell me why you attack your own kind... are you flamer?” He paused as his eyes darted away, “That would explain your strength...” He grumbled before locking his eyes back onto the hybrid.
"Defending yourself, perhaps..." the Dragon turned his head to the side, "Yes, defending yourself and territory makes sense." Renatus noticed the Dragon twitch his head, Renatus stifled a small grin, but question sprung to his mind "What do you mean?" his voice was ragged, and rough "I was hunting." The Dragon continued probably deep in thought "But, you instigated a fight with a fire breather who obviously wanted to be peaceful.”
The Dragon stretched out his neck, he was fairly close and Renatus resisted the urge to attack the Dragon it would've been fairly easy to lay in a final blow, "Tell me why you attack your own kind... are you flamer?” the Dragon paused as his eyes darted away, “That would explain your strength...” the Dragon grumbled before locking his eyes back onto Renatus "Really you wanted to ask me that?" Renatus spoke, simply "I thought that the answer would be fairly obvious." Renatus eyes focused on the Dragon's eyes "I'll tell you if you tell why do you attack humans?" Renatus' voice turned into an accusing one "They're intelligent they think and feel and you disregard this and lay waste to them for... fun." Renatus features contorted into a frown, the Dragon's answer is certainly going to be interesting.
The dragon pawed back over to where he was and laid down on his belly keeping his head up and eyes locked on the person in front of him. "Besides," His tone grew darker and a bit bitter, "I don't think that my species is the one who put my home in its current condition..." He let out a short growl before bursting into laughter. The thunder dragons have never thrived so much. The war was the best thing that could have happened to them. "Actually, I love what your people have done to the place." He bit into a tree so poisoned that its bark had turned gray and its leaves, while still alive, had a purple tint to them.
Savoring the flavor of the sick tree Loz almost forgot he was with another. "What's your reason, hybrid?" He huffed as he dug his claws into the ground. He lowered his head some but kept his distance as he sniffed the man. He smelled like human. Too much like human. But, he knew the dragon blood was in him, he could smell it. His head tilted to the side some. Should I eat you or... Something made Loz want to keep this one alive. He seemed like a tough one, plus it was his first meeting with a hybrid after all. Maybe he'll be some fun... The dragon licked his lips as he kept his eyes locked onto the hybrid not moving for any distraction. It probably would come off as him trying to size up the hybrid or maybe even about to kill him.
