Dusk Star's Story

"but yea, I'd reccomend Katana or pistol." Lux said trying to move thing along. Lux knew 5 options are difficult to choose from when you have such badass forms. Who wouldn't want to handle all five at once. nobody, thats who. Which is why Lux suggested the two of his favourite forms. Lux knew he also had a lantern form, but he didnt count that as a weapon so he rarely used it, unless you count blinding someone a weapon. Lux also didnt really like the axe because he thought it was just too bulky when one could use a dagger or katana. But he guessed it wasnt up to him what six forms he had. He was just born like that having katana, dagger, pistol, gauntlet, axe, and lantern. Perhaps because he rarely used his lantern form, there was some moves he never knew about with it? oh well, guess only time could tell. all lux could do now is just wait for Dusk to decide to do something and do it

Dusk was thinking about it for a while. "Well I like the katana so lets stay with that." Dusk was trained to use the ninja weapons and only those he was a little worried if he was forced to switch to some other weapon type. He let out a sigh and gripped the hilt a little harder and started to run full speed. "Lets do some training then."

Dusk barely avoided the attack. "Wow that was really close." He said. He listened to Lux. "Okay lets try that." Dusk started to concentrate on raising his power. "Its been a while since I have done this so be nice."

"whoa, that was close. Ah,and make sure to never go easy." lux said with a light laugh. Lux then echoed back the the waves to accomplish a decent resonance but he was kinda rusty with this stuff too. They were able to achieve a mild attack Lux called Light Slicer, increasing speed and sharpness while giving the katana a faint glow and trail of light. "Ok, let slice and dice that Dummy!" Lux said.

((just give the attack command and we'll continue the training))

Dusk went for a swing and said "Attack." He was hoping for the result of damage on the dummy but he had no idea what this attack would do. He tightened his grip and the training he went through was going through his mind. His grip was tight he let out a breath and focused on the target.

When Dusk went for the swing, the slice felt cleaner than a hot knife through butter and near frictionless with a light trail following behind the blade, slicing the dummy cleanly in half with the torso falling back exposing it's electronics and stuffing. "that was rather excellent!" lux said ecstatic witht he results. "I think the main thing is to practice soul resonance for stronger attacks and train with other forms. So whatchu wanna do next? Have me set up a large group of these dummies for us to train on slicing them in half? or try with another form?" Lux said logically.

"I guess you would be right then." Dusk had stated. "You choose this time again you should know what is good in this situation." He threw him in the air just for the effect of it.

"Sweet." Dusk said and then he aimed down the sites and took a look at the gun. "Its nice." He was curious as to see if he could use his wave length to strengthen the bullet and the shot even more so. He stood still for a moment and concentrated to the best of his abilities aimed at a dummy. "Im ready." He then pulled the tigger.

The compressed wavelength of Lux's regular bullet recieved a bonus effect that caused the bullet to fizz with unstable static and as it hit the dummy, it cause a small radius explosion. "Ok, so it appears if you concentrate and focus a channel of wave energy directly into me as a pistol, it gives my shot extra fire power." Lux said as more dummies started getting closer. "I have an idea we should test out. try shooting several of the dummies, and with each one, try to either focus energy or just a usual resonation, and maybe even try a high frequency resonance to see if it'll upgrade my bullets. I'll try different compressions to see if it makes any diff. Just remember, this will probably suck up alot of our energy during practice, so dont push yourself too hard." Lux said with a glint of inquisitiveness.

"Yea i'll keep that in mind." Dusk said. He then thought about shooting multiple bullets at a time. He did not care about the amount of energy he would waste but he wanted to hit multiple targets. "Here goes nothing." he said and the pulled the trigger and focused on two of the dummies.

sensing Dusk was going to try making a double shot, lux figured he'd need to try compressing it unevenly so it splites aswell. The resulting shot what two tranlucent "ghost" bullets that hit both dummies, if ever so slightly skewed off, with a force around 65% of a normal bullet. "Ok, so basically if we want 2 split bullets, we gotta give energy for 3 and i'll try working on the way it splits so its more whole instead of slightly phazed." Lux said. "Let's continue with practice now, lemme know if you wanna swap out forms"
