With full lips, big eyes, and a body to kill for, Ashlynn has turned heads ever since she hit puberty. Standing at 5’7” and a weight of approximately 120lbs, she is often the envy of other women. Her skin is a rosy violet, free of blemishes and soft to the touch. Falling just past her shoulders in layers, her hair is dark with a reddish-sheen, matching almost perfectly the color of her eyes. Ashlynn’s body is muscular, while having curves in all the right places, adding to a look of maturity she has about her that often fools others in context to her age. She holds herself strong and steady, and has a gaze that seems as endless as space in its depth. At a glance, it is impossible to claim she is anything but beautiful.

She usually wears clothing that exposes her midriff, but never her back or her knees, meaning she’s usually found in tight leather pants. She also always wears gloves of some sort. Though one would never know unless purposefully shown, Ashlynn has scars. Scars between the flesh of her fingers and on her palms, scars on her back of deathstick burns and brutal fingernails, and scars on her knees from falling many times on rough surfaces. She also has a tattoo across her hip, the quote, “Destroy that which destroys you," written in Basic in elegant scrawl.

Personality: Ashlynn was once a kind-hearted, understanding girl who wanted little more than the satisfaction of others. Unfortunately, she grew up in circumstances that made such a personality nearly impossible to maintain, and over time she was warped into the girl she is today. Highly untrusting of adults, especially men, her gaze is constantly cautious and alert. Her quick wit is usually put to use in the form of harsh remarks and sarcastic rebuttals, meant to push people as far away as possible. She is also a well-crafted liar, and does so frequently and easily. She will not, however, use her pheromones as a way to do it, relying only on her own acting skill.

As a Zeltron, she is able to feel the emotions of others around her, and thus is highly intuitive. In truth, at her core she is still that good-natured girl, and is willing to help those in need, though she attempts to do it in a round-about way, not wanting people to realize she isn’t as tough and uncaring as she lets on. However, she is also a strong believer in self-reliance, and never pities anyone, herself included. She is prone to becoming overwhelmed by her empathic ability, giving her frequent headaches and even occasionally causing her to cry, the tears not her own. She also has a soft spot for children and what she sees as the “misunderstood.”

If she wasn’t so terrified of trusting someone, she would make a very reliable, loyal friend. The closer one gets to her, the more immature she becomes, laughing easily and, if she does manage to trust you, very child-like and affectionate. She is easily embarrassed and a little naïve at times, rarely one to see the big picture.

Starting Equipment: Vibroknife hidden in her left boot, basic blaster pistol attached to her belt, and a comm-link for communication purposes. She also has a typical datapad she uses to get onto the HoloNet, though don’t ask her how she got it. She sometimes carries a hydrospanner when she needs it for a job.

History: Born on Coruscant, Ashlynn’s first bout of bad luck came in the form of her parents. They were wealthy socialites and had moved from Zeltros to the core worlds after the war broke out, fearing their own planet had little protection. With so many people, they turned to alcohol and spice to dull their empathic powers and threw frequent parties to cure their homesickness. The Dreiz name was infamous among both the underground and upper class of Coruscant. Ashlynn at a young age learned to expect little from her parents, instead relying on her caretaker, a young Twi’lek woman by the name of Nia. She taught Ashlynn the things she needed to learn to grow up properly in Coruscant, and made sure she had the skills to be more valuable in the future than merely as a Zeltron woman.

Until she was about 11, Ashlynn was a social girl, though not in the same way her parents were. She made many friends, was well-liked around the area and had a smile for everyone. Then, none too surprisingly, her mother died of an overdose of spice at one of their parties. Feeling a stronger connection to Nia than her own mother, she was sad but not overly so. It was her father who lost everything with her death. His constant despair made it impossible for Ashlynn to remain at home, so for a while she tried to stay away. This only drove her father over the edge, and one day, she found the door to her room had been locked from the outside. After that day, she was rarely permitted to leave the house. He took out all his anger and sorrow on his young daughter, who so closely resembled his dead wife, and for over three years, Ashlynn endured a nearly constant state of abuse. Nia was fired from the house when she tried to speak up, and the other employees were too afraid of his influence to say anything.

Finally, when she was 14, Ashlynn managed an escape with Nia’s help. The Twi’lek woman set her up with a job far away from her father, though also far away from Nia. Unfortunuately, it was a world Ashlynn knew little about, and in the end, she was tricked out of her pay, leaving her far away from home and penniless. Adapting to life on the street, Ashlynn quickly learned how to fight, how to shoot, and how to earn money on her own, though she remains in a constant state of fear that her father will find her. Only her knack for sharp-shooting and easily found street smarts have kept her alive and hidden for the last three years.

So begins...
