We've all dreamt of a greater purpose, a better life. Something more. But as time continues, so do we, and goals become dreams and wishes that fade away with every passing hour. We grow up and become a part of the mundane and simplistic cycle of life. Eat, Work, Sleep, Repeat. This acceptance of fate is easily welcomed by most but there are a few, a few chosen individuals that can't shake the feeling of missing some part of themselves that they can't seem to find.
Wyndemere. A magical world full of everything you could ever dream of. Endless Spring and Summer, peace and harmony among all species big or small. For centuries the world has been ruled fairly by Queen Aerwyna, an all-powerful fae adored by all. With a perfect Utopia, discord and chaos is inevitable. It's as if the unseen forces are always working towards the destruction. As for Wyndemere, chaos and destruction has a name, Balthier. No one knows exactly where he came from, most speculate from the deepest pits of hell. A sorcerer with a powerful affinity for Necromancy, and only one goal, to see the utter demolition of Wyndemere itself. For a while Aerwyna's magic was able to keep Balthier at bay, trapped on the farthest stretch of land that was shrouded in darkness. Unfortunately, Balthier had taken up a following. His promises of immense power and eternal wealth were all too tempting for those of weak mind. All it took was a powerful potion smuggled into Aerwyna's nightly tonic to have her on her deathbed. With the Queen and sole protector of the land weakened, Balthier was able to slip past her barrier and wreak havoc on the land. Slaughtering the innocent, and poisoning the land with his magic.
With Aerwyna's moments dwindling, she used the last bit of power she had to send a cry out into the universe. A cry for help. And the Universe responded. By plucking ten worthy mortals from their world and placing them into Wyndemere, to fulfill an ancient prophecy that had been locked in the vaults under the castle.
It shall be then, when the divined ones return, they will usher forth the restoration of balance.
While they may be unaware of the destiny placed before them, and some may reject it at first. It can't be denied that for once in their lives they feel true purpose.

hello, thank you for your interest in my little fantasy plot! I'm going to keep this short and sweet (bc I don't have too much to say n' I don't want to bore you away). All site rules apply, and above all else, be kind. As you can see there are only ten roles, and I have already taken two. I plan on this being a very close-knit roleplay, full of literate, experienced writers. Take that into consideration before reserving. PLEASE take a look at the divine role doc before reserving to solidify your reservation because, it plays a large role into the temperament of the character itself. Essentially a magical world is threatened and ten humans are pulled from their lives and thrown into Wyndemere, each of them have a 'divine role' or inner strength that has been waiting to be released whether it be combat skills, magic, or just enhanced intelligence. I will explain this more later, but the longer they stay in the world the more this reveals itself. As for the plot, think Narnia! But more adult-ish, if that makes sense. The time period of Wyndemere is definitely more medieval (no guns, cellphones, etc.). When you reserve, please say name, faceclaim (include a 200x200 picture if you'd like), divine role, and hex. (Character ages should be 18-26) I believe that's it for now! When you reserve tell me a creature you'd love to see make an appearance within the roleplay.
