Bolivian mercenary
High-risk, low-maintenance, and afraid to fail. Educated, but stubborn. Believes in order and control, no less than what is absolutely necessary. Will not settle for a no-win situation. Tries to keep the understanding that things have changed, maybe permanently, but will do what he needs to do to keep people alive. Finds solutions with thought and reason, trying to keep all variables in the equation at all times. Always has work to do.
Weapons:
Remington 870 fitted with Mossberg ghost-ring sights and an extended tubular magazine, allowing for a 9 shell capacity
Heckler and Koch USP in .45 ACP
Calico M960 in 9x19
Equipment: JD doesn't have much else with him besides a massive amount of ammunition for his weapons and a briefcase full of money. In preparation for his job hunting vampires, he bought a baseball bat and whittled the end into a stabbing weapon, but containing enough girth to be used to deliver blunt force trauma. This, he assumes, will be the main source of taking undead lives in Mexico.
Grew up as a Bolivian child soldier in a lesser-known Communist guerrilla movement in the late 1970s through the lesser part of the 80s. After the movement died out and the main guerrilla force was captured, killed, or executed, he was sent to an orphanage in the capitol and spent his remaining teenage years on the streets, having found the orphanage to be state-run, and got in a bit of trouble for minor crimes before he got involved in the international 'unofficial tactical advisor' game. After fighting in Chechnya in the 1990's, he formed a distinguished mercenary guerrilla unit that earned him the nickname 'The Bolivian Bear'. After the defeat of the main Chechen forces during the second war, he began selling tactical services to numerous militant organizations around the world: Afghanistan, Ireland, Palestine, and most of Africa, having trained Habr Gidr, Tamil Tigers, IRA, Yakuza, early Zakhaev Ultranationalists, Alarm Clock, and Hutu Militia personnel. Now, with a solo job that's been offered by the shady agency that finds work for him, JD is bound for Mexico with a car full of guns and ammunition, and a briefcase filled with half of his salary for confirming the kill. However, he's going to be dealing with something that he never has before, something supernatural and beyond his realm of experience: vampires.
