People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.

In a world where Demons exist and Humans have no idea about them, there are few who have unlocked the the ability to form a contract with a demon. In doing so they give up their soul, they give up their life.
Demons | (悪魔) A supernatural being who occasionally comes to the human world to form a Faustian contract with a human, offering a range of services in return for the future consumption of the individual's soul. Demons seem to exist for the sole purpose of consuming human souls. They are shown to be capable of doing this by either forming Faustian contracts with humans or simply taking their souls.
Faustian Contract | (浮士德合同) A link and bargain between a human and a demon whereas the latter offers specific services and fulfills the individual human's wish in compensation of consuming the said human's soul. In order to create the contract, a Human has to summon a Demon. However, it seems that they do not need to be aware of the existence of demons, attempt to summon a specific demon, or even summon one intentionally. It is implied that the human must be desperately searching for a way out and have little or no faith in God. In a sense, the contract is viewed as a 'scar' the demon leaves so the demon would not lose the person he contracted with. No matter where, the contract has the authoritative power; the demon is able to detect where the human is, and irrefutably, the latter can never escape the demon.
A contracted person receives a mark of their contract somewhere on his or her body, with a corresponding mark appearing simultaneously on the demon. The location of the mark can be chosen by the person who wishes to make a contract, or it can be the choice of the demon
Humans | (人間) A living being who is incapable of possessing supernatural abilities. However, they are able to form a Faustian Contract with a demon whereas the latter fulfills their wish and in return, humans sacrifice their souls for consumption.
Grim reapers | (死神)[i] A neutral, supernatural being who reviews lists of individuals about to die. The Grim Reaper Dispatch Society handles the dispatch of Grim Reapers for reviewing and reaping souls. Grim Reapers review souls based on lists given to them by other departments. It is understood that these lists are given out well before the individuals actually die, having some ability to foresee the future. They are not permitted to kill people not on these death lists, which are also called soul collection lists.
Angels [i](天使たち) A supernatural being that is particular about purifying "unclean" humans. Angels generally have only one goal in mind: purify humans from their sins. They think the only way to do this is to extensively modify a human's behavior and thinking, and/or to completely annihilate them and to start over; this is an act they say will bring about "Doomsday.

Collectibles

Mobs
Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
