Neve couldn't help but giggle at the boy who was being chased by "zombies". She wasn't laughing at him though, she just throught it was...cute she supposed. "Hi." she said back to Kari's brother. "I'm Neve." She held out her hand for him to shake, feeling bolder than she had in such a long time. She eyed her brother and mentally said, "See i'm making friends. I can do it too." She hoped Jackson was proud of her.

Dev smiled and walked up to the guy. "Hey Brynn, i'm Dev. Serah's wonderful and loving brother, i'm sure she'd agree." he teased, wiggling his eyebrows to show it was a joke. "I have no idea where we're going yet." He turned to his friends. "Where we going guys?" he asked Jackson and Rosalie. He sat back down and waved his arm by him indicating that Brynn could sit if he wanted.

Kari smiled at the girl and took a bite of the chocolate herself. As Fang came running, Kari looked at him with worried eyes. "Fang, are you..." she stopped short as he explained and started giggling softly. She gave her brother a hug as he sat down and put her head on his shoulder. "Dont worry, Fang. No zombies will attck you in school, m'kay?" she truly loved her brother, but she was upset that she couldn't find a way to help him get rid of his paranoia. Perhaps a girl? Her eyes suddenly lit up as she scanned the crowd for someone. "Fang... Have you ever stopped to wonder if you should get a girlfriend? It'll help with your paranoia and you won't worry about me as much."

She made a gagging gesture. "Will you not lie to people? No wonder you can't keep a girlfriend." She giggle. "I vote we go for lazier tag or paint ball." She smiled and sat on the front of her car not far from the group. "Brynn... Don't be scared of my brother... He isn't that bad... For a flirt of a guy." She smiled and waved sweetly at her brother. That was her sign that she was talking about him. "So who is your sister?" She asked closing her eyes and turning her face toward the sun. "What a gorgeous day." She smiled.

Gen rolled her eyes while Natheem pretended he was cool. She took off her over clothes so she had her normal clothes on and pulled her jacket hood up so her hair wouldn't be a mess. She eyed him, "Since when did you drive so 'unsafe?'" She asked arcastically. When they finally pulled in front of the school she hopped out over the car door again with a smile on her face. She looked back over her shoulder and said to her brother, "Keep it in your pants this year, bro." After that she walked over to where she could see Rosalie and the rest of them. Serah had some new guy by the hand, apparently introducing him to everyone. Hm, this year might be fun after all. She came to the small little group and held up a hand, "Que pasa."

Her outfit:

"I'm not scared of anyone," Brynn mumbled, feeling embarassed. He tried not to show it, though and kept his cool. "My sister is Lya, by the way."

Then a girl he remembered from his freshers year walked over. He doubted Gen would remember him as they'd never been in a class together, but he'd seen her around. He looked blankly at her as she spoke to him in another language; he was about as bad at languages as he was a reading and writing, possibly worse.

"Err, hi," he said, shaking her hand. He smiled at her.

Over her shoulder he saw Fang enter through the school gates, looking as paranoid as ever. He would have called out to him as he had found a cool new music site and wanted to tell him about it, but Fang didn't see him and ran towards his siter instead. He would catch up with him later sometime.

Gen noticed Jackson, a senior, in the group and eyed him skeptically. When she got over to the small group, her hand raised and said "Que pasa" she noticed the guy looked at her rather awkward. She eyed him for a moment too before he shook her hand and said, "Err, hi." He had a nice smile. His face did look somewhat familar closer up, but she still had no idea who he was. Maybe they passed in the halls somewhere, or she could just be imagining stuff, it still felt like summer break and all. She shook his hand and looked over her shoulder to make sure Natheem didn't go crazy, the kid seemed nice anyways. "Que pasa is whats up, by the way. You looked confused." She turned her attention back the rest of the group and took a sip of Rosalies frap without asking. "So, you all planning to skip or whatever?" She looked over her shoulder and saw Jacksons sister socializing, which was somewhat surprising to her. She turned to Jackson and said "Shouldn't you be painting the walls or sucking another girl into your vortex, Jackson? Or are you playing it safe this year?"

"Girl...friend?" He said the words as if saying "Barney exists?!"
Truth was, the thought of someone to romantically love never came to Fang's mind. It just didn't make sense for him...And besides, the girl would just distract him from protecting his sister.
And the more horrible image, it might influence Kari as well and he could NOT imagine his little sister with a boyfriend.
"I don't know, Kari..." he said. "The world's not safe..." And anybody could be a spy, he finished in his head.
But he did need to get rid of his bad case of paranoi before he accidentally karate-chops one of his teachers or something...
Fang sighed and ruffled Kari's hair. "Maybe...maybe you're right...But what girl would be insane enough to be with someone like me? "

Jackson looked at Gen and raised an eyebrow. "Um.... Excuse me? I don't suck girls into my vortex... They come willingly." He smiled smugly and confidently. " Could you try not to hate me for a change?" He looked her in the eyes for a moment and then walked over to Neve and her little group of friends. "Any of you up to skipping with us?" He smiled and looked at Kari and Fang. "Hello... Do we know you?" He looked around constantly.

Serah looked at Gen. "Nice to see you again Gen." She use a fake smile. "I don't think I know Lya... You will have to introduce me. You want the last frappuccino?" She smiled and held the frappuccino toward him. She looked at Gen who was taking some of Rosalie's frappuccino. "Um... That's not yours I only got enough for my friends." She waited o see what Gen was going to say. "So Brynn... You up for some lazier tag?" She smiled.

Brynn smiled and took the drink. In his rush to get out of the house before his parents gave him the lecture he knew by heart, he hadn't had time for a drink or anything. "Ta, thanks," he said before taking a sip. It was luke-warm and tasted funny, but he could feel it waking him up quickly.

Brynn listened to the interaction between Serah, Jackson and Gen and wondered why they didn't seem to like each other. Gen seemed alright to him. He didn't get why they were being so . . . he wasn't sure 'sarcastic' was the right word to explain it, but it sounded right in his head for the moment, and words had never been his thing.

"I'll intorduce you to her sometime, sure, I reckon you'd get on with her well," Brynn replied to Serah about his sister. "And laser-tag sounds great." He thought about the first lesson on his timetable that morning. English. Brilliant. "You don't know anyone who's good at fake notes, do you?"

Kari giggled and flicked Fang lightly on the forehead the way her mother did sometimes. "C'mon, Fang. There are a lot of girls who would put up with it. Hell, if I weren't your sister, I would." she laughed and thought for a moment, just thinking about random things. "Hey, Fang... Will you spar with me when we get home? Maybe mom or dad can help?" she said softly. She hadn't practiced her Kung Fu forms in a while and she was starting to get rusty.

She took another bite of her chocolate and looked up with bright, but shy eyes as Jackson walked towards her. "Um, no I don't think so." she said softly. She caught the last part if what he'd said to his friends and scoffed lightly. He was one of the guys Fabg warned her about, but it didn't matter. She had to be polite. "I'm Kari, this is my brother, Fang."
