A man came running around the curve of the path at a great speed. He was holding his sword hilt to stop it from hitting his leg. All he was thinking about was making it to his wife who would have their child any moment now.

This man's name was Polymethus (Polly-Me-Thus).He is the lord of Himn.He has ruled the land for 4 years and he is of age 24.His father had died some years before leaving him young and with so much to rule.

Polymethus reached his manor,but a guard stopped him and said,"Sorry my lord,you can't go in." "Doctor's orders." Polymethus raged,"That is my damn child being born,I deserve to see it!" The guard replied,"I'm sorry my lord,please wait." Polymethus accepted and sat down outside to await for some news.

It was about 10 minutes later when the doctor came outside to deliver the news.The doctor said in a emotionless voice," Your wife had triplets,but one died." Polymethus's expression dropped.The doctor then said,"She had a 2 boys and a girl one of the boys died,but the other 2 children are healthy." Polymethus rushed into the house to see his children.When he reached the bedroom he saw his wife holding both children and the nurses holding the deceased boy wrapped from head to toe prepped for burial.

Polymethus walked over to his wife and took his daughter and son and embraced them into his arms. He walked out onto the balcony and shouted to the people of Himn below,"I present my son and daughter!" "Eli and Hannah!" The crowd below roared with applause.Women cheered,men clapped,local militia dropped to one knee in sign of respect. Polymethus spoke again,"The future rulers of Himn!" The crowd broke into celebration once more."Tonight shall be the biggest party of the year." thought Polymethus.

That night,while the people of Himn celebrated the gods had a plan."We should give him eternal strength." shouted Ares,god of war,while Athena,goddess of wisdom and law, shouted,"Give him elder knowledge!." "Silence!" Zeus yelled as it echoed through the halls of Mount Olympus.Zeus then said,"We shall give him half strength and half knowledge." Ares and Athena agreed to this plan.Zeus then smile down at the people of Himn below.
