Ahriman (Zoroark) was indeed already there watching her, illusioning as if he was a Joltik instead of himself. Therefore, as a small cute spider, he could sit in the ceiling's corner watching.
In his mind, he smiled. For it was actually nice to see kids play. Especially when that would tire them out, and then she'd put them to bed or something...which would give him his chance.
