a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Patcharoo

Description

Aiya
Looks to be just about twenty, maybe a year or two younger. Wears (kickboxing gear) a white loose tank top with a tiger on the front, and matching shorts. She has long brown hair almost always tied up in a ponytail, but it still manages to hide the wires that stick out from her neck, connected to a metal plate attached to her back. She's a little small for a fighter, but she makes up for it with tenacity. Well, that's in the ring. Outside she's all too aware of her ADD, leading to low confidence at not wanting to bug people. Not that she was very good at being social to begin with.

Power Suit
The latest tech from Orion Industries allows Aiya to at will summon her power suit around her in a bright flash of transformation from the disc located on her back, which is also its power source and host to a capable AI. The full specs are;
1x Energy Shielding
1x Scouter
2x Warpdrive Boot
2x Leg/Knee Brace
1x Grabber Arm, L
1x Energy Blade Arm, R
1x Sudden Relocation Device
1x Stealth Component

Energy Shielding
Skin tight light shielding which helps lessen or deflect kinetic impacts and lessens dramatic heat changes, allowing the wearer to withstand directed energy, gunfire or plasma.

Warpdrive Boots
The affectionately named 'Warpdrive' boots allow the user to go from a standing start to a massive speed of up to or over 100 kph. However due to the strain this puts on a physical body it is recommended one does not do so without a full body brace.

Full Body Brace
This full body brace helps lessen the effects of whiplash and impact from falling, allowing for safely dropping from amazing heights onto solid surfaces without injury.

Left Arm Grabber
The left gauntlet of the suit ends in a large grabbing robotic hand which can be launched at massive speeds, capable of breaking bones on impact. A metal cable attaches it back to the gauntlet, allowing it to be retracted, or pull the user to it like a grappling hook.

Right Arm Energy Blade
The right gauntlet of the suit is home to a powerful energy blade that can extend up to three feet in length and remains utterly weightless. Shimmering blue, this blade pierces and slices based only on density.

AI
Attached to neural connections and the shielding pack on the wearers back is a high quality AI that runs complex calculations faster than the human brain can manage. As such, often the reactions of the user seem much greater than that of a normal individual.

Sudden Relocation Device
Provided there is already momentum, the SRD can cause the wearer to rapidly and suddenly shift from where they stand to a position slightly forward, backwards or to the sides of where they stand or are heading. The initial design of the tool was for individual persons apprehending dangerous and armed individuals, to decrease the reliance on shielding or body armour.

Stealth Component
The Stealth technology allows the user to become effectively see through, with only slight strangeness in the way light is interpreted or reflected giving away their location (distortions similar to those given off by heat in the air).

Scouter
The latest in style and practicality, these sunglasses can function as night vision, thermal vision, motion sensor and even a special vision that detects metal and technology.

History
Aiya is the daughter of Lieutenant Leo Samson who died during a special operations mission when she was aged sixteen. She has forged a path as a great arena fighter after she won her state finals in kickboxing and went on to offer herself for experimental fighting research from Orion Industries. She never really knew her mother.

So begins...

Bam! The door was kicked right open just after it closed behind Kvan, a stark contrast to the man. While the kicking person, a girl who looked just out of her teens, was also wearing metal on their arms, it was much different. On her left arm was practically a metal cylinder ending in a grabbing hand. The right arm was a metal device of some sort. On her feet were robotic boots and leg braces running up past her thighs for some reason. To top it all off she had cables coming from her neck to a disk on her back.

"What's up, maggots!" she called loudly, at which point she noticed the man who entered before her and followed after him. Oh boy, he seemed interesting!

"The doors are made of tougher stuff than that," Aiya answered, planting her hands on her hips. She was in strange clothing that just didn't seem to fit her technology, kickboxing gear. A singlet and short shorts, the sort that allowed full mobility. She cocked her head at Kvan, a little confused. "You're dressed funny," she says, missing the irony.

"Me? Oh, I'm just going to be the next big fighter," she said, rubbing her right knuckle on her chest and turning her head to one side. Yes, that self-impressed pose. "I'm gonna be the best, I just know it. What're you?" she asked right back, walking around the man, to examine him before finally shoving a hand out in front. "I'm Aiya. Nice to meetcha."

"Mercenaries are pretty cool," said Aiya, slipping up onto a chair and planting her hands between her legs so she leant forward to face Kvan. "Hey, if you're a mercenary, do you fight? I gotta get lots of fights so I can get some rep in the arena." Her smile dropped for a moment as she said, "It's actually a lot harder than I thought it would be."

Aiya laughed, throwing a slapping hand for the mans back. "You're pretty crazy," she said. "But hey, at least I can use you as an example. Do you know how hard it is to find someone to fight? There's like, no one who will! One guy I had to practically drag to the arena!" She was definitely exaggerating there. "And another girl got sick half way through so we couldn't get to the end of the fight. It sucks! I just cna't get any leeway."

Aiya suddenly drew both her arms back and fell off of the chair as she leant away from Kvan. As she crashed to the floor she started giggling. "Oops," she said, getting up. "But hey, you're not allowed to take any of my stuff, okay? If you do I'll have to gut you like a fish and use your skin as a flag!" Of course, she'd never do such a thing. She was just joking. But it was hard to tell as she always wore the same stupid grin on her face.

"Oh, you'd be surprised," Aiya says, nodding, "I'm actually pretty easy to hurt. I've got this big square bit of me, right here," she says, indicating to her stomach where none of the technology stood, "That's just open." She shrugged and got back onto her seat. "If you have to go you have to go. Was nice meetin' ya' but!"

Into the bar burst an excitable figure, kicking open the door and charging in. "What's up shrimps?" she called, striding over to the bar with big bold steps. She slapped a hand down on the counter to get the attention of a bartender. "Hey! I want a drink!" She was a terribly loud girl, most likely out of her teenage years. Today she was wearing her full kit of technology over the top of her loose tank top and kickboxing shorts. It was strange to see such a contrast.

Aiya looked around. "Hey, come on, can I get some service in this dump?" she demanded equally as loud. She was a terribly strong personality, which wasn't exactly a good thing. "I'm thirsty from fighting all today!" Her head turned towards the others, heading towards them and saying, "Hey maggots! Anyone wanna fight? You're lookin' at the future number one!" It was a pre-emptive boast, to be sure.

"Hey what? I'm not a jerk!" That wasn't a nice thing to say! "I just came here for a drink and to see if anyone wanted a fight! Where do you get off calling me names and swearing?" she practically demanded. Afterall, Aiya may have been scaring the girl, but the man was swearing. That's gotta leave some bad habits.

"Me, obnoxious!" cried Aiya, outraged. Well, yeah, she was. "You were gonna shoot me just for walking over here! You're the jerk!" She turned around and stormed away to the other end of the counter, slapping her hand down hard. "I want a soda dammit!"

Aiya was long gone before she could hear any explanation. Like hell she was going to listen to that ass! "Fine, I'll get my own!" she shouted, climbing over the counter and jerking the fridge door open to steal a soda. This was a terrible bar!

Aiya through a look over to the soldiers and the man in the overcoat. Well, why the hell not. Fearlessly, she strolled towards Stryfe, puffing out her chest and said, "Hey there, thinlips. Wanna have a fatlip? I'm talking one on one single combat in the arena." She seemed very enthusiastic about the topic.

"Well man up, big girl," said Aiya with a laugh, planting her hands on her hips. "And show these men how the women fight in the arena." She was very loud, it seemed.

"Arright!" cried Aiya triumphantly. "We carrying tech or are we just going with fists?" Despite Aiya's size she was trained in kickboxing, so she wasn't afraid of dropping her weighted gear.

Aiya let out a whoop, then headed out the door. "Alright, I'll see you there," she said, taking off in a dash. Of course, this would end up as hilarious if Stryfe decided not to show up...

Aiya had ditched her gear, stuffed it all into a locker somehow, and made her way out onto the arena sands. The crowd wasn't huge today, after all there were no scheduled fights of big competitors, but there were still a few hanging around on the off chance that a fight would spring up.

Once more, Aiya was dressed in her thai fighting shorts and a loose tank top. A band was wrapped around her head to keep her hair out of her eyes.

"So what're we fighting to? Until one of gives up? Time limit? Judge ruling? First blood? K-O?" asked Aiya, lifting up her heels so she was light on her toes, walking forward slowly with her hands held up before her eyes in fists.

Aiya shrugs. "Right, let's just duke it out until we're tired and out cold," said the girl with a grin. She was slowly stepping forward to narrow the distance down so that they would be just inside kicking range. It was mostly a ploy to see how well Stryfe knew their positioning.

Aiya stepped forward, following Stryfe step for step. She was going to keep following them until they were either pressed back to a wall, were forced to side step or struck first.
