(Is only to be used in the event of a Phantom of the Opera role play)
Aleera is a very naive child, and can more often than not get into predicaments she doesn't exactly deserve. She has a powerful voice, enough to be an opera soprano or alto, but only begins to use it when she begins living at the Opera Populaire. Because of her parents never being home and being left with an inattentive nanny, she hasn't learned many of the small details of courtesy, what to say and when and how to say it, and most of all what love is and how you know you're in it. Besides, when her parents weren't around, love, be it parental or romantic, was just a fable taken from the scrawlings in a children's book.
Her childlike naivety and charm. 'Nuff said.
Aleera was born in Capri, Italy in 1853. Her parents were Gianna and Salvatore Lorenti, both prominent workers in their own businesses. Salvatore was a lawyer, and Gianna worked as a tailor and fashion designer of new-age clothing for young European women. After Aleera turned sixteen, the family was forced into a "moving on business terms" scenario, and relocated to a luxurious villa in Paris, France. Besides coming from old money, the income of both parents would be enough for one to consider Aleera to live in the lap of luxury. Nannies and maids waited on her every beck and call, and soon became her immediate family, as her parents were either never at home, or too tired to associate with their child. Aleera was taught strictly by a hired teacher which gave her daily instructions within the home, but the young girl was never given the opportunity to learn the basics of emotional and social matters. On the night of the production of Il Muto at the Opera Populaire, while all the audience members ran from the incident that occurred upon the stage, Salvatore and Gianna were murdered in an alleyway on their way home from going out to dinner with coworkers, by gypsies who desired more than just their money. Unfortunately for Aleera, she had been in that theater and was on her way home, being rushed by her older friend, when she cut through the alleyway to get home and came face to face with the corpses of her parents.
