Personality

Alyssa is a gentle (for the most part), well-mannered elf who clings to her beliefs and loyalties. Not particularly calculating, she can be slightly impulsive and almost selfish when upset by something or someone. She does not openly voice her disdain and instead prefers to keep such sentiments to herself. A little stubborn and unwilling to admit when she is wrong, she often times tries her best to correct this trait with mixed results.

She likes to squirrel away things, too, with the thought that it might be of use later on... which often is not the case.

Equipment

Having grown up with magic very much so a part of her life, this particular high elf is adept in magic. Taught to hone her skills, Alyssa does not rely on much else. She does carry a bow with her should she be forced to fight physically as well as a small hunting knife hidden away within her riding boots for close combat, but she remains steadfast in her desire to use magic as her main weapon.

A tailor by trade, Alyssa does not usually part from home without a small kit to sew and mend things. She adores pockets/pouches, so her clothing always has some sort of hidden pocket in which she can squirrel away things. (It's a bad habit of hers.)

History

Born into the household of Asamur, Alyssa was raised by her parents in a city close to the birthplace of Kril Kolmar. Granted the gift of spirit summoning, she shares a close bond with the spirits that she tends to call upon. It is said that the first spirit summoned by those who are blessed with such a gift is the one that will share the closest bonds with the summoner. This was and remains true for Alyssa whom summoned, not just one, but two spirits as a child who had just begun to learn how to walk.

These two spirits that she often summons have been named Elfa and Elfi. Growing up with these two entities, she shaped them into creatures as she grew older. Elfa took on the form of a predatory bird (similar to that of the white-tailed kite), while Elfi the form of a wolf.

She was a well-adjusted child for the most part – save for the occasional skirmish with the local children. Her parents provided her with training in both magic and practical skills. During her stay within the city, Alyssa worked as a tailor to support the increasing cost of living among humans despite the growing hostility toward her kind. Struggling to make ends meet and live comfortably, the Asamur household soon slipped away from the city as quietly as they had originally come. Returning back to the Elven settlement hidden away within the forest near Juniper, they resumed a lifestyle far more natural to their kind.

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
