Alyssa has been missing for just over a month. Not a trace was left as to who took her or where she was taken, but she has not been seen for a long time.

Alyssa carries her satchel, which is filled with odds and ends, medicines and clothing. No one but her can reach into it, and it seems endless because of all the odd things that she pulls out of it. She carries her guitar on her back, hiding one of her weapons. She also carries various weapons -

- Pistol that Kurtis gave her
History
Her history is long and complicated. Basically she was stolen from her coven in the dead of the night when other people were killed and ended up out in the world on her own when she killed her captors. She knew absolutely nothing about the outside world, and at one point ended up being owned by Rufus Klane, who used her as a performer and prostitute in his club, and kept her prisoner there along with other girls whom he beat often, etc. She escaped, eventually, and has been running ever since, not only from Rufus, but also from people who find out about her along the way and want to use her for her power and steal the crystal that she was born with embedded in her hip.
Since she's arrived in Wing City, she's trained under Connor as an assassin, to be able to do something a little more with her time.
So begins...
Alyssa Marina's Story
Alyssa Marina She climbed down from her spot on the bar before sitting on Kurtis's lap, facing his gun and all the parts. "Teach me?" she asked, staring at the pieces curiously.
She looked over her shoulder as the figures came in, tapping Kurtis's knee in alarm and nodding her head toward them when he lookeda t her.

Alyssa Marina She let his hands guide hers, fumbling a bit clumsily with the new material. She had only ever once fired one of these. She usually stuck with knives and the short sword that was usually strapped to her back, or she used her magic, but she had not had the sword out while she had been here. It was resting in the case with her guitar. She flicked her hair out of her eyes, accidentally hitting Kurtis in the face with it and she laughed, "sorry," she mumbled and went back to trying to put the gun together with his guidance.
She hardly noticed as the figure looked at her and said something in an odd language in an odd voice.

Alyssa Marina She frowned a little bit when she saw her name, "It's got my name on it," she said, as if he didn't already know. She turned so that she was sitting sideways on his lap, facing the figures, and looked at him. "Why does it have my name on it?" she asked.
Just then, she noticed the figures coming toward them. She slid off of Kurtis's lap, looking at them warily. "A bit of understanding?" she asked suspiciously, "a bit of understanding for what?" She crossed her arms across her chest, raising an eyebrow.
Alyssa Marina She smiled wide and kissed him on the cheek, holding it in her hand and tossing it around, catching it deftly. "I'm not 100% sure how to use it, but thank you." she said, catching it before setting it down on the bar when she addressed the figures.
Alyssa Marina Alyssa raised an eyebrow, staring at them and holding Kurtis's hand, willing him to calm down. "My blood is unique?" she asked, giving him a look. Of course, she was the only true witch in the room. The crystal in her hip vibrated a little bit. "Taking in people like me? What the hell are you talking about?"
Alyssa Marina She stared at him for a long time. "So you need my blood..." she said, frowning, "to help you cure things... and you're only going to take a sample," she said slowly. "Did I get all that right?"
Alyssa Marina "I'm pretty uncomfortable with this," she said matter-of-factly and rested one hand on the hip with the crystal, her brow furrowing a little bit. "Kinda the last of my kind within... forever." she said, "How do I know you're going to do what you say you're going to do?"
Alyssa Marina She stared at him for a few more moments, before finally letting go of Kurtis's hand and holding her arms out. "Does it matter where from?" she asked. Most people would call her stupid, others would call her naive, some careless, but she didn't care. If it was going to help people, why not, right?
Alyssa Marina She flinched, but only because as her arms were littered with scars, he had slit across a particularly sensitive one. Alyssa felt the arm being healed under his hand and raised her eyebrows, wondering how he was doing that. She nodded at the blonde man when he apologized and watched as they left, wondering if her blood was going to do anything special, considering they had taken it from the arm with the black scar on her ha, instead of the tattooed one. She bit her bottom lip and hugged Kurtis back, wrapping her arms around his waist.
Alyssa Marina "I'm fine," she laughed, letting go of him and hoisting her thin frame up onto the table. She looked down at her arm, at the new scar that she had attained. Her smile faltered for just a moment before she picked up the gun that he had helped her put together, looking at it, "If you teach me how to use it effectively, I'll read your palm." she bargained, laughing.
Alyssa Marina She nodded before pulling him to sit down in the booth, her still sitting on the table, as usual. She went to hold his hand to look at it but was interrupted by a figure coming over and addressing them. "I don't know," she shook her head, "I've never seen any of them before." She realized that Alyssa didn't know the man's name. "I'm Alyssa by the way." she said, holding out her tattooed arm for him to shake her hand, instead of the one with the black mark.
Alyssa Marina Her handshake was firm and she nodded in recognition as she memorized his name. Both of her legs were rested beside Kurtis on the booth, stretched out as she sat on the edge of the booth table. She crossed one other the other, before shaking her head. "That's really kind of you, but you don't have to. It's fine." She smiled.
"I guess," she said in Void's direction. "And I dunno, just coming over to say hi, I guess, right?" she asked Connor.

Alyssa Marina She leaned in and kissed Kurtis on the cheek, running her hand through his hair lightly. "Can I read your palm?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.
Alyssa Marina She held his hand in hers, tracing her fingers around the lines, "This one?" she said, poitning out the long line that draped from between two of his fingers to the side of his palm, "This is your heart line." she looked up at him, "For every hole in the line, it means there's going to be heartbreak. You've got a couple big ones. But!" she smiled, "the flip side to that is, you'll find someone and spend forever with them. See?" she pointed it out, "the line goes to the end of your palm in both directions." She took a pause, running her fingers over his fingers lightly.
Alyssa Marina "I could think of someone who'd be willing to take the job." she said, kissing his forehead, "I don't know if you'll like her though. She gets in a lot of trouble. She's got a loud mouth, some weird powers, and a lot of scars that screw up her beauty. But, y'never know, some people are into freaks." she giggled.
Alyssa Marina She laughed and kissed him back, before climbing down into his lap again. "This one," she continued, "is your life line--" she cut off when Andrew came over, and smiled and blushed a bit.
Alyssa Marina Curled up in his lap, she smiled and kissed him again, "I never said you were," she laughed. "The life line," Alyssa continued and indicated the one circling his thumb, "Yours swoops out, see? This means that you're strong and enthusiastic. But, it doesn't go all the way to the end, where your wrist starts, see that? That means you're going to travel a lot."
