Her opalescent skin shines in the moonlight, clean and untouched since her purification. Having served as the priestess to her clan, she now travels alone giving counsel to those she thinks need it. Her hair is a light lilac and silky soft to the touch. She has two full sized, bat-like wings protruding from her back with two-fingered hands on the top joints. Often times she has her wings caped with the small wing-hands on her shoulders. Her knees have bone-spiked caps instead of knee caps, the plates extending up to a point known as a crown. Her elbows have similar bone growths referred to as cups that extend from the ulna. Asha also has a tail that's about the length of her leg. The tip is covered in a furry mess of hair and feathers the same hue as her hair.

Asha is prone to visions. They are often times very general save for a few key details that stand out. She can usually remember whether it was a good or bad omen, but she is far from predicting the future. When she is having a vision, her eyes glow white, returning to their iridescent purple afterward.

Like all gargoyles, Asha turns to stone during the day. Her skin, hair - every inch of her is covered in a granite coating while she slumbers in the sunlight. When she awakens at sun down, she bursts from the stone, leaving a mess of rubble behind.

So begins...

Asha came up out of her seat and paced towards Arien with the bottle in her talons still. "Yes, but I'm not like you. I only kill mindless animals...So really, if I didn't mind having to nuke you first, I would consider you to be rather tasty." Pulling up onto a stool at the bar, she lets her tail hang down, wings caped around her shoulders. "But the One only knows what you've been eating."

Asha rolled her purple eyes at the boy, not phased by the boy's enchanting orbs. "Why don't you kids clear out of here, hmm? I'd hate to have to get violent and remove you myself...I do have a holy touch, after all...My blood would be like Holy Water to you. I'm also not without my share of crosses. We don't need to cause a scene here, now do we?"

Asha ran a hand through her hair giving its curls a shake. "I suppose I'll leave well enough alone. But if you find your meal in this bar tonight, you'll also find my talons ripping you to shreds. Sound good, dear?" Sliding off the bar stool, she stretched out a bit, un-caping and re-caping her wings. "Now where was that snowman off to? The freezer again?"

Asha commented on the way to the freezer. "What panties?"

Asha knocks on the freezer door. "Hello? Snowman-man? Are you in there?" Her caped wings get ready for the cold air in the freezer as she waits for him to come to the door.

Asha came in and let the door shut. Being a gargoyle, she was pretty immune to the cold, or at least considerably more so than human beings. Pulling up a box of frozen fries, she plops her rear down on it and reaches out to touch the snowman's side. "You are on a quest then? How very noble...What has you so discouraged?"

Asha frowned as the meat was slung, holding a hand over her stomach as it noisily growled in hunger. "I imagine it is difficult to accomplish your own goals. Is there no one else who could stand in here? I mean, no offense to Gambit's, but this place is always on its last leg. I think it'd be that way whether you were here or not."

Asha smiled at him. "Maybe you've just lost sight of the mountain because you're in the snowstorm? I see you doing great things here...I'm sorry, I don't really know your name." An embarrassed smile brought her eyes to close into arches as she reached to scratch her head a bit. "I'm Asha."

Asha turned on her box of fries to face him directly. "And Cryoface, he was a snowman? If that's what you are, I mean. All the wild things in the universes, there's no telling what you might actually be. I am a gargoyle, if you couldn't tell from the wings--" Then, acting on its own, her tail raised up and threw its tail tuft in her face. "Pfft...and the tail."

Asha smiled brightly, tossing her hair back like a mane as she giggled. "Well it is a pleasure to meet you, dear. Would you mind if I spoke of you in my prayers tonight? Perhaps The One will know what you need to do next. If he reveals it to me in a vision, I will certainly let you know of it. Is that alright?"

Asha heard the footsteps coming and turned her head to look behind her from the branch she was sitting on. Anyone looking up would have seen the pearl-like gargoyle, glistening in the low light, but it seemed that this bi-pod was engrossed in his reading. She wasn't so high up that she couldn't extend a limb and catch his attention, and so, as he passed under her form, she dropped her tail between his nose and the papyrus. Giggling, she flicked the tail tuft in his face, hunched over to gaze down at him as he could easily look up her loin cloth. "Hello, traveler." she said with a fangy smile.

Asha pushed off the branch to land those strong, talon tipped feet in the ground in front of him, far enough off to not disturb his papers with her wings as she caped them and stood up straight, turning to face the feminine man. "These are clothes enough for me...I do have a dress that I wear in town, so I don't look like such a savage." Sizing him up, she adjusted her wings on her shoulders before flipping her hair back and commenting..."Your footsteps fall heavy on these woods. It causes me to wonder what you are.." Secretly she just wanted to divert the attention away from her leather scraps that she was growing embarrassed over.

Asha jokingly captured the long strands of the fringe of her cloth in her hand to give the man - if that is what he was - a curtsey before letting out a giggle of her own. "Good eve, Vokun. You may call me Asha." She would assume that he would know that to be an Native Terran name meaning "Hope". He did seem rather intelligent, after all. "You have already figured me out, save that perhaps you do not know of my visions." Smiling, her white teeth looked luminous against the opal tones in her skin and those rose pink lips. Lilac hair finished her ghostly appearance, giving her an odd beauty that greatly clashed with her surroundings. "We should tell stories!" she decided, hopping up onto the tree trunk beside her like some playful beast.

Asha blinked. "Well. That is a tale. I'm the last of my clan, but it's certainly not of my doing...There's just not a lot of room left for gargoyles, you know?" By this point in the story, she had gotten back up into the branches and was now hanging upside down from her knees with her cloth tucked between her legs, save for the flap that hung down behind her and exposed her rear. "I'm terribly sorry that happened to you. Maybe I can distract you with a story?" With his permission, she would proceed to tell him of how she can have visions of people in the future. Sometimes she predicts deaths, important life events like births, and other important things.

Asha shut her eyes, crossing her arms just past that rack. "Well, when you can foresee things, it's easier to avoid such terrors. I am rare, though, aren't I? I would suppose I might even be as rare as you." Grinning, she held her wings around her while dropping to the ground again and caping her wings after standing up again. "Hmm. I shouldn't lose track of time tonight. I was supposed to come out and get a deer to take back to my perch for supper tonight before turning to stone at sunrise. Do you mind if we walk for a bit and let me find my meal? Though I may have to ask you to tread lightly." That teasing smile came up again, mane of lilac strands tossed wildly about.

Asha looked confused for a moment before turning her head to see him walking off. But then, she just laughed and bound off towards him on all fours like a true gargoyle. "You are most fun and full of surprises!" she added, leaping through him and taking off into a run. She hoped her new friend would keep up, for as she came up on a clearing, she spotted a beautiful doe on the other side of a slight clearing. In the moonlight the deer seemed to be white, but perhaps that was the spots that marked its young age. Pausing in the trees, Asha looked for Vokun before whispering, "She looks young but I won't be picky. Soon enough my growling stomach will scare them all off!" Without wasting a moment, Asha hurriedly rushed up a tree before jumping into a well timed glide that landed her right on top of the deer that didn't stand a chance under her weight and talons. The whole business was rather quick and Asha made it out with very little blood, save for how it had fallen around her mouth and neck when she gave the killing bite. "Are you hungry, friend?" she asked politely, teeth covered in blood as she smiled.

Asha burst into the bar, opalescent eyes making quick work of scanning the bar that not a moment earlier had still been hidden behind that heavy door. She nearly hit Drakus in her hurry, gripping the door in her taloned hand so it would swing out all the way. She was a mess of worry, hair frizzed from her quick glide to the bar, nostrils still flaring as she grunted in her heavy breathing. Was he there? At his table? The back booth?...No, she didn't see him. "Sorry..." she stuttered to Drakus, passing him up to walk back towards the far dark corner of the place. "He's not here..." she confirmed, feeling the pit in her stomach deepen...

Asha huffed for a moment before spinning into a chair, wings getting trapped under her body. A grunt of discomfort, or possibly agony, came out of her as she let her head fall on her arm that was strewn across the table. She didn't want to cry any more since the wind and cold had reddened her cheeks to the point that they were burning now. Salty tears would only make things worse. With her head down and lilac strands all around, she retreated to her cocoon of solitude.

Asha slowly raised her head from the table and pulled her wings out from under her before leaning back against the chair back. She pondered ordering some food but that thought only served to sicken her. Besides, prepared food never sat well in her stomach anyway. She preferred to dine on the rare side of the spectrum, not to mention something far fresher than this food would be. Getting up from the seat, she draws away to a booth in the back to wait for Lawless.

Asha was starving after an entire day of waiting around in the bar for Lawless. Moving through the tree tops like some carnivorous ape, she spotted a deer below. Just as she was ready to pounce on it, a knife landed in its side, followed by forty some more. Once she thought the knives were done, she took the decent with a loud thump, landing just on the other side of the deer. Staying on all fours, she stretched out over the corpse and hissed animalistically at the hunter. Beautiful song or not, he already proved to be deadly.
