Bex Pierce barked out a laugh. "Trust me, mate. Ya don't want me sober." She breathed, wiping away an imaginary tear. "I'll supply my own whiskey then." She shrugged. "I'll text ya later.. Had enough trouble with the damned thing already today.." She griped.

Bex Pierce snorted. "Aye, and your very lack of action. Except I think you bit the wrong person. Mr. Smiley Ass Face was 'is name?" She shrugged. "'ey, not jealous. I offered, ya didn't bite. Don't offer all that much anymore." She joked. Of course she always joked.

She sighed and lit another cig herself. "When ya want me to take off?"

Bex Pierce shrugged. "I'll take off in a week then." She stated. "I'll make sure to give ya the list tomorrow and I'll start makin' the arrangements. Give me the coordinates after I give ya the list." She murmured, taking a drag off her cig before putting it out.

"And I'll guess ya'll never know, will ya?" She teased him. "Not unless ya try. Then again, the side effect of you finding out I wasn't serious might end up badly for you in the end.. But it's the only way to find out..?" She chuckled darkly. Had to keep them guessing.

Bex Pierce sighed. "Bastard." She growled. She then pulled out the phone and actually texted him that. She then stood up and threw a few bills on the counter, grabbing an inn room key set to a room upstairs. "Might as well make this home away from home.." She grumbled, starting to climb the stairs.

Bex Pierce leaned over enough to light her cig on the lit match quickly. "Thank ya." She murmured. She took a drag off it before studying the man.

"Usually ain't this bad. Usually quite lively. 'Ell if I weren't lookin' for someone, I'd prolly have gone somewhere else with more excitement than this." She grumbled. She then held out a gloved hand. "Bex." She introduced herself.

Bex Pierce nodded in acknowledgement, grasping her hand around the whiskey. "Well.. I guess you could call him a business partner." She said with a slight grin. However, she didn't looked to be the type into any good business.

"Wot brings ya to this 'ell 'ole?"

Bex Pierce nodded. "Everyone's 'ell is there own." She stated, as if quoting someone but of course he wouldn't get the reference. She sighed and took a sip of her whiskey. "So whatcha trying to run from, eh?"

Bex Pierce shrugged. "This is why I do not have friends, nor trust any allies. Makes things a lot simpler in the wrong run when they decide to stab me." She stated.

Bex Pierce shrugged slightly, leaning back to where her stool only stood on two legs. "Aye, well.." She bit her lip. "When ya 'ad someone ya trusted more than anythin' try to kill ya for profit, and nearly succeeded, ya typically don't get too close to anyone else." She grumbled herself. "Prefer to live instead of die like a fool." She took another swallow from her whiskey.

"Besides, I get enough company from people like ya'self and others who I'm hired for."

Bex Pierce shrugged slightly. "Maybe. But I get enough socializing done to fake it." She stated. "So war ya started. How'd ya manage that? Especially if they were close to ya." She finished her whiskey. "Kind of hard to make people angry enough they'd come after ya like that."

Bex Pierce took one final drag off the cig before pinching the cherry off with her forefinger and thumb. "So a case of he said, she said sort of thing.." She murmured. "An' ya have no clue who did it? Seems that would be the first thing I would've done." She sighed slightly.

"Then again, ya prolly couldn't find the culprit." She shrugged. "Would findin' the one who did it and punishin' 'em clear ya name?"

Bex Pierce smirked slightly. "Yep, just provin' me right to start investin' in a bomb shelter that can support myself for years.." She grumbled under her breath, rubbing her face. "A'ight. 'Ere's what've gathered about your.. Problem." She sighed. "Ya got problems cause this one guy is basically pullin' the carpet out from underneath you and ya don't wanna grow a pair and take back the reins? I mean, yeah, the other chick, she might still be angry with ya, but it was disobedience in the first place that got ya into this mess. Fix it."

Bex Pierce shrugged. "I never said that." She grumbled as she watched him walk out the door. "But it is easier if ya do." She sighed.

Bex Pierce ordered another whiskey, placing a few bills down on the counter to cover all of her drinks she had basically poured down her gullet so far. 'You live a very lonely existence.' She had heard this several times since the betrayal. Try as she could, she couldn't bring herself to trust again. Not after a scar that deep. She scowled furiously at even considering the stranger's words an insult. "Bah.. 'ho needs 'em.." She grumbled.

She looked down at the cellphone for the umpteenth time today, waiting for the word to make the move. Not that it mattered, she wasn't looking forward to going off to the planet. She knew something was going to happen, but she couldn't put her finger down on it yet.

Her mint hues switched over to the new entrants and watched them silently for a while.

Screeching to a halt, the metal beast growled once more before Bex turned the keys to shut off the engine. She pulled the cellphone out and began to type on the fool thing as she pulled her leg from over the motorcycle. She seemed somewhat perplexed, seeing she should be on the mission by now.

She was just waiting the word.

Sauntering into the bar, she sent the message and stuffed the thing back into her pocket and pulled up a stool to the bar. "Whiskey." She ordered, leaning forward on the stool until it sat on two legs. "And leave the bottle."

The woman's mint hues locked onto the only other patron to have entered the bar and she only acknowledged him by a slight nod of her head. She took the glass as soon as it hit the counter, passing the bills over to the bartender and taking a swallow almost in the same motion. "Ahh.. That's the stuff.." She muttered under her breath.

She mentally went over the list in her mind of things she had told him to get. It shouldn't have been -too- difficult. Few thousand rounds of ammo, explosive and maybe the three or four bottles of whiskey were about the hardest things to get.

Bex Pierce blinked as she slowly came from her stupor. In the time she'd been here, she'd already finished a good 2/3 of the whiskey from the bottle. Of course, that was just a healthy beginning. Her lack of attention was due to her practically daydreaming of events of the past.

She rubbed her face, pulling out her pack of smokes at the same time. Tapping until one fell out, she placed the unlit cig to her lips before lighting it. "Oh the joys of boredom.." She grouched.

Bex Pierce shrugged. "I could. Although, ya prolly shouldn't put me and Smiley ass together that often. It might be bad for one of our health." She sighed. "But then 'gain. Not sure if I can fully trust ya yet. Kind of 'ad it hard with the last associate I was in business with." She downed another thing of her whiskey.

"But eh. I guess no way to build trust 'less I work with ya more."

Bex Pierce smirked. She hated being put on a leash. And especially under Ilav's hand. Taking a drag off her cig, chuckled darkly, showing her teeth as she did so. "So basically I have to be house trained. Smile when told, speak when told, take a shit when told, is that how it works?" She grumbled.

Of course, she'd probably at least break every rule -at least- once. That was just who she was. "It's typical standard procedure with most places ya don't know me anyway. Don' matter if I'm in trouble or not. Then again, I tend to get the job done, so that's all it counts, eh?" She sighed. Her mint hues turned icy when she finally did return her gaze to Icki. "So ya want to keep me on a short leash? Prolly should expect me to snap a bit."

Bex Pierce couldn't blame him. Of course she wouldn't draw attention to herself on the job. She wasn't -that- stupid. Lighting another smoke, she released his gaze. "Yeah, ya think I'm an amateur or somethin'? Been doin' this kind of shit for years. Only attention I draw is when I get kicked from the bar for drinkin' too much.." She grumbled.

"Suddenly I'm sober.." She grouched, downing the other glass quickly. "Anyway. That the only rule? Not to draw attention to ya? That's easy. Ain't been caught yet, 'ave I? And if ya'r thinkin' I'll blow the job, well ya can just bite me. Only failed one job my entire 'career'. Because I refused to die." She grumbled.
