Dyren has the extraordinary abilities to control ice and snow. His mindset is bonded from where he originated, in the cold; He prefers to keep his mind locked and temper down, even though it can't stay down long.
Despite Dyren's very typical mindset of not wanting to get to know people, he is a very kind-hearted man underneath the one-thousand foot wall and locked doors. When he meets new people, he acts shy and it almost seems like he tries to avoid them at all costs, but he is a secure man. He is afraid to let people inside because he doesn't want to be hurt.
Once someone breaks down the one-thousand foot wall and unlocks the doors to Dyren's mind, they are accepted and trusted with all of his heart. He will trust them with his life and sanity. He cares for the ones closest to him deeply, as deep as his family.
Dyren carries no tools or equipment. He keeps his hands and body free of extra weight which allows for movement and precise control over his magic.
Dyren was born and raised in the northern icelands. He grew up learning how to survive with nothing but a spear to fish and the clothing on his back.
When he was a child, his mother would always show him how to use his powers to make the tribe's work easier. He could open up a hold in the ice to fish with a simple touch and thought. He could propel snow away from the tribe's huts to keep it from invading their fire and suffocating it.
Once Dyren turned twelve(the typical age for teenagers), he became more and more active. On clear days, he would run away from the village to a glacier nearby to practice his ice skills more privately. He could create traps through the ice as much as ten yards away. Dyren could, with a simple thought, break off a piece of the glacier the size of a car, without even touching it.
Dyren had learned a lot in the seven-teen long years of his life. He learned how to use his power with precision and control. Dyren could now conjure ice shards as sharp as the sharpest blade and propel them through the air with a thought. Additionally, he could freeze water in a matter of seconds with a simple touch; Sadly, though, the more the quantity, the more time it took to freeze.
When Dyren turned twenty-five, he decided his time in his tribe was over and left. He bid his family and friends he grew up with goodbye in hopes of exploring the gigantic world himself. He hitched a ride in the nearest town on an airship to the equator. Dyren had never felt warm air in his life, and he agreed with his thousand foot wall and locked doors that it felt good.
