Egress Manitova growled again as John hugged Pericci, "You know nothing of my fright..." He glared at John and remained motionless. He did not like this man's assumptions and felt a slight anger towards his comment. The proximity of the other two was causing him to feel like attacking, but he restrained himself under the verbal contract he had uttered upon his previous statement.

Egress Manitova glowered at John and rose to his feet. "I do not intend harm, but I will inflict it!" He approached John and gritted his teeth at the man, "It was an involuntary reaction. A natural defense!" He seemed to anger even more with every passing moment that the two of them held proximity. "Go ahead and swing at me... I do not anger from stupidity.", he added with malice.

Egress Manitova immediately turned his attention to Pericci as if John hadn't even been there. "Apologies...", he uttered as he hunched over in a semi-bow, much like a animal cowering to an alpha. He looked up at her briefly, "I was only curious... and I am causing you distress." He backed up towards the employee entrance and glanced at her, "I mean no difficulty."

Egress Manitova did not answer Pericci, but did notice John following her. He glared at the man again and his eyes seemed to glow a brighter yellow again. He felt a desire for this woman and could not explain it, but he knew that this other male was competition. Suddenly, he heard Johns comment and responded, "Cute?... Is this... your name? Are you called Cute?" This was a term he was previously unfamiliar with and from Johns wording devised that it must have been her title.

Egress Manitova growled again at John as he watch the contact he was making with Pericci. Quite a bit shorter than John, Egress stared up at the lanky oaf and scowled. He wanted to leap at him, but simply pushed back against the employee exit only to realize that it had locked itself after he entered. Rather than fuss with it, he side stepped away from the two of them and moved towards the door to the main diner area.

The fact that he was speaking of things that he knew nothing of and how he had suggested such a concept of "Going elsewhere" and "Playing with her hair", sent him into an uproar. He had all he could do to refrain from sprouting blades from every inch of his body.

Calming slightly, he stood looking up at John, "She has already shown interest in me and you blockade her every move. Do you consider her to be your cattle? To be herded where you see fit? Were you not injured and she healed you? You impede her again... and I will intend to do harm." He took a deep breath and turned away, towards the diner.

Egress Manitova didn't want to leave, but John was an obstacle that he did not want to overcome. He had many questions for the girl and could tell she had questions of her own. He sighed and looked at the door,"I'm leaving...". Egress scowled at John's remark and looked at Pericci one last time before walking out the door.

Egress Manitova runs into the library, slamming the large doors behind him as shouts and protests could be heard outside. An odd look of glee flitted across his face as a large blade of metal shot out of his fist into the floor in front of the doors, jamming them closed as he grunted and snapped the metal off like cheap plastic. He stepped back from the doors, completely unaware he wasn't alone, as he laughed heartily. "That was great... All you gotta do is touch a goddamned statue to piss these people off...", he chuckled as he turned and noticed Astera. "Oh shit... Uhh... Oh.. HI!", he said nervously as he grinned innocently at her.

Statues... books... voodoo and...", he began but was interrupted by his own laughter as she swore. He fell into a nearby table and sent a vase crashing to the floor. "Oh god...
