a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Diary-chan

Description

Jade
Jade has deep green eyes and long, pure white hair falling to shoulder blades. Her skin is a light tan. She stands rather tall at 5'8", made up mostly of leg, with a lean, wiry but markedly toned form that speaks of hardcore workouts.
Notable features not visible in the picture: An inky black intricate tattoo circling her navel and a medium-length scar near the ribcage.

Personality

Though Jade may seem like she should be a woman of apathy, this is simply a misled preconception. In fact, she possesses worrisomeness that is masked efficiently enough by a genuine curious quality, leftover from her time with her first remembered guardian the weapons master, as well as a usually-optimistic, if excessively sarcastic, demeanor. While she is partially naive and sometimes clueless and always blunt, as well as fairly graceful leftover from her prowess with the broadsword, she is also a caring person who is ready to laugh. Jade is a free spirit, and tends to do what she wants, bothering little to conform to any set of rules or regulations. Her temper is fairly cool and Jade is a woman with tough skin, although if a particularly witty comment pops into her head she often cannot resist the temptation to say it aloud.

Equipment

She carries an enormous broadsword as depicted in the picture, as well as a rucksack type bag for supplies.

History

There were many rumors surrounding the birth of Dalia Moonforge. But of the stories, ranging from that her mother was a common prostitute to the missing queen herself, Daliaā€™s very favorite possibility - and the one that made the most sense - was that her mother was the sole Lady Knight in the whole kingdom: Lady Alana.
This rumor made actual sense because years ago, Lady Knight Alana had taken leave of the palace, where she resided as a trusted guard and advisor to the King himself, to ā€œtake care of personal matters, settle some old scores, tie up some loose ends, see the world, whatever you want to call it.ā€ Alana had further explained that though she sincerely enjoyed being his company and advisor since the Queen had disappeared, she had a sudden urging to see the world, a longing for the forests outside the palace walls. The King, trusting his counselor, consented, though he was sad to see her and her small party of trusted and able companions leave. She had returned a little less than a year later.
The year that Lady Alana was gone from the palace had been the same year that Jade had been born. The miracle of it had been that her fatherā€™s wife had been dead long before she had been born. And Edmond Moonforge, for all his worth, had always sworn that Daliaā€™s mother was the best of the best - a woman who had achieved her high position only by hard work, despite the stories that she had only achieved said position through sleeping with her superiors. There could be only one woman that her father meant when he talked like that.
And so, by the time she was six, Dalia firmly believed that she was the daughter of none other than the Lady Alana herself. She was often scorned for this, but Dalia had thick skin and didnā€™t mind; however, when provoked by insulting her that her mother was a common whore, she would always retaliate with a full-blown fistfight. She looked up to the woman she believed was her mother and her ultimate aspiration was to became a Lady Knight like Alana.
In any case, Daliaā€™s father was a famed weapon smith, and all the nobles and royalty of the kingdom came to him to have only the finest weapons forged. Through this he provided for his daughter. However, Dalia often wished that the nobles and royalty would go somewhere else; the scornful, demoralizing way that they treated her and her father was horrible and she hated it; and after a great period of a constant barrage of this, she began to dislike upperclassmen in general.
The time of Daliaā€™s childhood, however, was not one of great politics in the kingdom; that had multiple rival and enemy kingdoms because of the Kingā€™s pride and vanity.
When Dalia was eleven, something dreadful happened.
Dalia had been at the local marketplace at the end of her lower-middle-class street. While Edmond did forge the best weaponry anywhere, the nobles often demanded - no, ordered on the pain of death - the lowest prices, or sometimes made the weapons ā€œgiftsā€ from him. As the snowy-haired girl bargained with a gap-toothed old lady over apples and other assorted fruits, however, Daliaā€™s basket of other groceries was abruptly knocked out of her hand as she was bowled over by something she recognized as the flat of a blade.
She looked up at her attacker, fully ready to tackle whoever it was. Her mouth opened to yell -
- and stayed open as she saw an enemy soldier staring down at her with a wicked glimmer in his eye, his sword arcing down towards her. Dalia braced for what would be the end of her lifeā€¦
Only to look up at one of the palace guards as he fought off the man.
Apparently, the kingdom's capital city was being attacked by soldiers from one of its many enemies.
Dalia, too terrified to chastise herself severely for being a coward, ran from the marketplace full-speed ahead, having no idea where she was going, the only instinct left in her horrified mind being to run, run, run.
By some subconscious manner, Dalia soon found herself barreling towards Rowe Street, where she and all her middle-class neighbors lived.
In shock, she sped panting past the headless, decapitated bodies that were lying out in the street in front of the houses they had belonged to, a lump blocking any sounds from her throat as a growing sense of dread filled her as she ran towards her own home.
She stopped dead as she recognized the headless, bloodied corpse of her father, Edmond Moonforge. Sobbing now, Daliaā€™s only thought in the world of terrifying, blood-chilling, mind-numbing shock was of the one thing she knew, from the minute she had been told its story, that her father, dead or not, wouldnā€™t forgive her for leaving. Dalia ran into the trashed house and into the attached forgery, where everything had been set aflameā€¦ luckily, however, the object she was looking for hung on the nearest wall.
Moments later Dalia was dragging the huge elegant broadsword with the blue pommel stone by the hilt out the back door.
She dragged it through tears and through back streets and through finally the forests outside of the capital, as far and fast as she could, sobbing all the way. So exhausted by the time Dalia came to the dead, blackened forest of petrified wood that lay who knows where in her kingdom - little did she know she had actually stumbled across the border into a neighboring kingdom - she had lost track of time and distance and knew only that she could go no further.
When Dalia collapsed next to the huge broadsword, she was unconscious before she hit the ground - and the solid, hard rock that had been under where her head had landed, giving her a good, hard knock near her temple. But she didnā€™t feel it.
It was a combination of factors that proved the cause of Daliaā€™s later amnesia; utter and total exhaustion, emotional stress, traumatic shock, hitting her head on the rock, and perhaps more. But when she later woke up, she could remember nothing of the horror that she had just experienced or the broadsword next to her that had been the greatest heirloom of the Moonforge family, as well as a weapon fabled in old legends and folklore full of heroes and quests.
The girl woke up in the middle of a petrified forest, not knowing who, what, when, where, why, or how anything had come to be. She did, however, already know how to talk and write, as the weapons master who found her soon discovered. He, being a kind soul despite his affinity for sharp blades, took Jade - as he named her - and the enormous broadsword she was found with, attached to, and able to drag along - in as his own daughter. As the time passed and she realized that, once she developed the muscles to be able to lift the sword, she could easily swing it around and block and repeat any moves made by her guardian after seeing them once. Determining that his newfound daughter was a broadsword prodigy, the weapons master eagerly sent Jade off to train in the local army.
Army life, however, did not suit Jade. Being the free spirit that she was, after two weeks she and her broadsword disappeared. She had determined that the moves and defenses the army taught were too basic, too easy. Therefore, to appease her growing hunger for knowledge of the blade, she searched for masters of the weapon to teach her.
Five years after that her thirst was sated, after studying a year each with five different masters. The prodigy with no childhood wandered like a nomad, selling her services to causes she felt just. After three years of this, she had effectively established her foreboding reputation as the Snow Swordsman, known as one of the best weapons masters alive.
Jade now works as a mercenary.

So begins...

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.

Sibael Rhodwyn looked around, finally staring one of the strangers in the face, "I don't remember you. Any of you, to be frank."
