Through sun or wind or rain, I shall always be the same.
Quite stubborn in her ways, but kind all the same.
Shy; it takes a while to get to know her, and even more for her to speak her mind. Non-judgmental, unless you make it that way, she is usually very accepting.
A watch, located on her right wrist, to help her with time no doubt. A phone at hand in case there is trouble.
Sometimes seen with a guitar in hand, as she is known to write her own songs. A notebook and pen to write down thoughts. Her iPod always with her since music is basically her life.
Born in a big city, grew up in a big city, but country girl at heart.
Jasper has always pictured what life could be like if she lived away from the rush of city streets and the news of violence and drugs.
She lives in a pretty stable home, a little brother, her dog, and both of her parents. Her family has been pretty blessed, with only two close deaths in the complete 16 years of her life.
At a young age, Jasper was quite the drama queen. Usually acting up when upset and singing to herself and sometimes others when happy. Her first dreams were of becoming a ballerina, but when that didn't seem probable, and when she first entered school, they quickly changed to wanting to become a teacher. Grade two changed that, with a teacher that didn't seem to like her and her back at the teacher. She decided an animal doctor, a veterinarian would be best, since she has always loved animals. But stories of her mother's experiences as an assisting vet changed all that, and Jasper took the path of stardom and fame, though she didn't want it for the fame or fortune, but just for the pleasure of entertaining others and knowing the world can be a better place on stage, she even resorted to music and movies as an escape from reality.
Of course, her parents supported her to her goals, putting her in professional vocal lessons and acting camp/school. She managed it all on top of having high grades in school.
But then the time came when she had to move from her lifelong friends and the town she grew to know inside and out, for better or worse. Her father got a job elsewhere and they had to move. Jasper didn't mind, since she didn't care for the city she had resided in for most of her life. So they packed up and moved to a smaller town nearby Edmonton area. There she made new friends, kept in touch with old, and had to get used to an entirely new school. This didn't work with the grades though, as they started to slip ever so more as the first year wore on. She was devastated and tried desperately to push them back up, it seeming as each grade was a weight upon her, pushing her further down.
And as most teenage girls often do, she met someone and crushed hard. Though she was too shy to admit to him her feelings, and wrote them down in a song instead, keeping him as a close friend and promising to stay in touch over the summer as it fell upon them.
She still struggles to maintain her goal to act and sing, diving for every chance that comes her way. And she is slowly picking the way out of the shell that shields everyone from herself, 'coming out of her shell' as the expression often goes.
