Kali is the recognized counterpart to Shiva, the creator. She is the basic truth that fueled the myth of the Destroyer depicted in Hindu lore. She is a part of a master race from which she descended to mortal earth on God's command, to take the place of the previous guardian of chaos and dissonance that was dismissed; this body is thus far her longest living avatar. Her mortal bodies can be killed, and will live an extensive lifetime until that happens. Her celestial body can be fully destroyed only by the Creator (any lore) or the figure recognized by the Christians as Metatron. Her powers are bound while in a mortal body to be of highly limited use compared to its potential. This power cannot be unlocked under any circumstance other than death of that mortal body. Her duty to her Creator demands that she does not misuse this power, however, and is bound by her word to never harm a creation of God in anger. Her alignment is chaotic neutral, meaning that she is not guided by the orderly nature of the heavens, but runs amok among the humans on earth. She is bound to neutrality; although her first loyalty is to her creator, she cannot make decisions based on a bias to either side of the good-evil spectrum, and all of her actions and decisions must be based off of impartial observance.
