Lalaek is the only female officer at the west Border Gate and as such she often has to deal with less than plolite gaurds along with the added threat of crossers. She has a basic control of water, in any state.
Stern and foreboding most of the time especially around those of the male persuasion. She takes her job very seriously and will not stand of any mistreatment of the rules or laws. A true loyalist at heart she believes that the tyranny of the All is for the betterment of their society.
Uniform; Sheer white sleeveless undershirt that coattails out on either side (not in the back), off white/ very light gray over vest that has a higher neck line for her because of her gender, the only obvious difference between her uniform and the males. Baggy white pants that are tucked into standard issue black boots. White elbow length gloves and a white band on her left forearm that is trimmed in yellow ribbon indicating her status as the 'person in charge', the regular guards have blue ribbon.
Equipment; mobile com. device, baton, and handcuffs.
The only girl in a family of seven on a pre-industrial age farm, spent her the days until her sixteenth birthday wandering in the nearby woods and generally avoiding any 'female duties' until her arranged marriage on her birthday. She ran away and fell into an old house foundation, a stone lined hole, that was a tear in the boarder landing her in Periphery City, or more specifically in the north gate of the border. Since that day (She incidentally had interrupted an experiment that was being conducted on trying to return a 'Tainted' to their world despite their taint and ended up getting tainted herself hence the control over water) she fought her way up the ranks as a border guard despite the general disregard she got due to her gender. As a result she's a bit rough around the edges but friendly enough to most. It takes a bit of extra effort for guys because she's hyper sensitive to insults and should you loose her respect its a hard thing to earn back.
