A determined young squire who passionately longs to finally become a knight.
First and foremost Sparrow is determined. He hates being underestimated and hates even more to be belittled. He often goes out of his way to prove himself and usually lashes out at those who he should show more respect to. His training has greatly disciplined him however it only shows when he's actually in battle. He loves to socialize with people and because of his goal he definitely wishes to help out those in need.
He comes across as very well mannered, more than likely due to his schooling and status as a squire.
He is confident, and very optimistic about things never wanting to give up on any task or quest.
Leon has yet to earn any complete set of armour or his shield, thus his only weapon is a broadsword given to him by the knight he squires for. She has engraved his scabbard with the same symbols that adorn his chest and belt to always remind him of his place and his oath.
However he does have light blue scale armor atop his arms near his shoulders and his shins that he uses during his kicks.
He is well versed in duelist combat and swordplay, and has also been trained in wrestling and effective unarmed combat.
Sparrow also knows natural first-aid practices and is a skilled herbalist.
After graduating from basic education Leon implored his parents to allow him to attain apprenticeship underneath one of the knights who defended the kingdom of Monbaroh. Acceptance into apprenticeship was a hard, grueling trial of wit, will, and inner fortitude as there were literally hundreds of children who dreampt of becoming a knight. He was barely able to pass the tests, unbeknownst to Leon his journey through the tests had caught the eye of one of the kingdom's most admired knights, Lady Vastilla who quickly took Leon under her wing.
Vastilla granted her squire the name "Sparrow" and began to train him extensively in her ways. She would watch as he grew stronger in the years and did not take it easy on him at all. She admired his spirit and his tenacity as no matter what the task he never showed any desire of quitting.
At long last came the final task before he would be appointed and it would not be an easy one. Anyone who has ever squired underneath Vastilla has become a great knight due to her training but they had to especially prove to her that what she had taught them could be put to great use in the world. She ordained Sparrow to venture out, complete a task of great importance or make an important difference then return to her with a trophy of evidence of said change.
For two years now he has been searching for that, previously fighting off a goblin horde that had rampaged through the land. He had even dueled with their leader and killed him, bringing the head back to his Knight. However Vastilla was not yet satisfied and denied Sparrow his knighthood. Thus his journey continues....
What proof could she possibly want?
