Born into a family of 4, Light was top of his class, passing his class and test with the highest grade, one day he found a deathnote lying on the floor, not believing it would work he then tryed it on two criminals killing them, knowing it would work he decided to clean the world of criminals, killing an average of 50 a day, a couple of months later joing the police force which helped him alot so he was always one step ahead, he then killed The famous detective L, using the shinigami Rem, but 5 years after that, he then tryed to kill Nate, This time he failed, getting caught he was going to go to jail, for mass-murder, but like ryuk said, the first person to touch the death note which is human, makes a automatic deal with the shinigami, when he loses, it would be the Shinigami whom wrote his name in the death note.

Quickpaw Hurojo awakes after having been asleep for several years. Around the area was only void. It was empty. Dark. Cold. "Where... where have the spirits placed me?" He started patting his body all over; ensuring that he was corporeal. "Not dead; that's a plus." Though there was no time to lose. If he was corporeal, that likely means that he could return to the world he knew, and hopefully return to his king. He began running, hoping to find an exit to this ethereal obscurity.
